The dress is perfect for a summer occasion, it fits loosely but without making itself ugly. It was a very light and comfortable dress to wear.

I wanted a special dress for my shower but didn't want to wear white. This was perfect! The design on the top was more gold than I thought from the pictures but it was nice. The sparkle made the dress stand out. The fit was great and I felt comfortable. It seems like a nice shape to compliment all body types.

This was my first time using Rent the Runway and I will definitely be a repeat customer. I wore this for my bridal shower, which was vintage theme, and this dress worked great. I’m 6’, so this dress was a tad shorter than what I hoped, but that isn’t a surprise since I’m so tall.

I really wanted to go for a classy and vintage look for my Winter Formal, and I especially wanted a cream dress! This dress fit like a glove! I got several compliments on it. I paired it with black tights, black heels, and red lips and I'm very happy with how it came out! I was afraid it would be too short because of my height and small size, but it was the perfect length! I truly felt beautiful in it, withough having to worry about it falling down or being too revealing while dancing. Overall, I'm very pleased with this order.

This dress fit so well! It was extremely comfortable and easy to move in and it runs very true to size! I had ordered a size up, but didn't end up needing it! I wore this dress to my senior prom and it was the perfect amount of elegance!

I loved that this dress was light and comfortable, almost sundress-y, but very sophisticated. The color is more off-white or vintage white than the photo might suggest; I liked that because it avoids the flashy white-and-gold look, but just be aware if you're trying to match a handbag or shoes to the dress. It's also quite fitted from the waist up-- I wouldn't recommend it for busty girls, since there's no give. I got lots of compliments on this dress at the Christmas party I wore it to-- I highly recommend it for a festive occasion!

Lots of these reviews were from the Fall/Winter 2011/12 but I wore this for a Summer 2012 country club wedding and it was perfect. Fit was true to size and length was very wedding-appropriate. I was a bit nervous that it was going to be more white than I expected but it turned out to be more of an off-white/creme color. Super light weight for summer as well. Accessories I wore with it: nude patent leather platform pumps, a gold cuff, gold hoop earrings, and a gold Whiting and Davis clutch.

This dress was perfect. I wore it for new years eve, and I got so many compliments on it. It fit perfectly! I am 5'5", 130lbs and a 34D and the 4 was perfect. I would totally buy this dress, it would be perfect for a lot of different occasions! <3

I rented this dress for NYE at a bar in DC at it was a huge success! The dress, that is. I paired it with a wide gold bangle, smallish gold dangly earrings, and platform gold sparkly heels. The gold theme was perfect for New Year's and it fit great; the size 4 was exactly right for me. I even had a girl in the bathroom tell me "I'm not a lesbian, could you do a spin for me. I love your dress!"

Although online the reviews said this dress ran large, I actually thought it ran a little small. Although the top fit me in a size 4, it was almost too short to look decent in! That made going up and down stairs and dancing very hard. This dress is beautiful and will definitely stand out. I wore it for my senior prom.

Pros: comfortable fit that didn't require spanx. Very flattering if you have aren't comfortable with tight material in the stomach, butt or thigh area. Cons: a bit too short for me but not a deal breaker. Material was a little itchy with the lacing and beading.

I wore this dress to a holiday party, where the theme was Silver & Gold. I received so many compliments! I even had people say the dress caught their eye from across the room because of the hint of sparkle. This dress was fairly true to size, but I am pear-shaped, and thought that the underskirt could have been a little looser. It fit great everywhere else, but if you are really pear-shaped (like me), I would consider sizing up one.

I was having the hardest time finding a gold or tan dress for a house party that I was in, this dress was perfect! The only reason I'm only giving it 4 stars was that the gold material on the top section was itchy against the inside of my arm.

I wore this for my Bridal Shower and it was perfect. The color is a little darker than what appears in the photo, this dress is definitely a darker shade of cream that I expected, but it was beautiful and fit perfectly. Great for a bridal shower brunch.

Wore this dress for a couples' shower thrown by friends, and I really liked it. It's not too on the nose, but still has the lace and cream vibe you might want for a shower or rehearsal dinner. The fit was easy and true to size, and you can wear a standard bra. The only thing to think about is length: I'm on the short side and I still had to keep my jacket draped "casually" across my lap while opening presents, just to be on the safe side. Overall, it's cute and bright without looking like you're trying too hard! (Accessories: totally loved it with the Teardrop Pearl Earrings by Nicole Miller. Anything vintage-y and not too bling-y would be great, though.)

I rented this as a back up dress for New Years Eve and ended up wearing it over my 1st choice. It was super comfortable and perfect for the event and dinner I went to. It was a little on the shorter side, which I was fine with. I am 5'7" and it was just above mid thigh. I paired it with a black blazer, black heels and a black clutch. Lots of compliments all evening! It was classic, yet sexy. Easy to sit in and dance in.

I wore this for a NYE Mad Men themed party and it was a smashing success! Not only did the dress fit perfectly, it looked great with the Citrine By the Stones Lovely Bouquet Earrings. I used the fashion tape that came with my order to make the dress stay put at my shoulders and wore a slip underneath because it is a bit see-through. I looked, and felt, like Betty Draper... in other words, a million bucks! (And yes, that is a fake Lucky Strike cigarette in my hand!)

I ordered this in a 0 and a 2, ended up wearing the 0 and it still could have been a little more form-fitting. The dress was perfect for the rehearsal dinner I attended- very adorable dress though! Got lots of compliments. The gold up top is more sparkly than the picture on the website.

I rented the 6 and the 8 for my bridal shower as I am usually in between sizes. They both fit, but i wore the 8 because it was a little bit longer and had a little bit more room. It looked beautiful in person and was the perfect dress. I would recommend this dress to anyone and think it would look good on most body types.

I thought the dress was beyond flattering and very comfortable, except my underarms did get a little rubbed a little raw from the detailing. Was it worth it? Absolutely.

I wore this dress for my birthday and it was perfect for the occasion. I am very petite and the 0 fit perfectly. I wish the scoop neck was a bit lower but the length was just right (hit me mid-thigh). This dress is cute with dressy heels or ballet flats, it's very versatile.

I rented this dress for a party but I ordered the dress too big. I usually wear a small or a 2 but I needed the 0. I would order the size you normally wear and one size down for the back up dress. The dress is more cream than in the picture, but i love love love this dress. I will definitely order it again in the right size.

The dress looks even more special up close then in the photos. The hem is pretty short and I'm not supper leggy so wearing dark stockings were a must. The bust is flattering and I was able to zip it up even through I'm pretty top heavy(38DD). For those who have larger bust size there is some slight flattening affects so a good bar is a also a must.

The fabric is pretty but has no stretch so it wasn't very flattering on my large bust. This dress also fit much shorter than I expected. I'm only 5'2" but it was so short I didn't wear it to the wedding.

I rented this to be MOH for my best friend's wedding. Great dress but I highly recommend wearing a white slip under it (which I did) or it will be sheer in pictures. It is also a little too short to be as elegant as I wanted it. Still a pretty and nice dress though.

This dress was adorable however the skirt is see through which i would have been able to work with had the dress fit properly :( i am very pear shaped -- my waist is 25" and my hips are 39" -- the 0 fit perfectly up top but the lining in the skirt was super tight on my hips and kept riding up. needless to say i didn't wear this dress that i had rented for my engagement party :( i would definitely recommend this dress to someone with a different body shape who owns a pair of white undies to wear w/ it!

Pretty dress but it was not the same color as shown in the picture. It was more of a yellow, old lace color. I wore this for my college graduation with a black cardigan.

I rented this dress for the winter formal at our school. I ordered the a size 0 but it did not work for me. The length was half way up my thighs and very reasonable. There was just no fit to it. I am a skinnier girl so it almost looked like a potato sack on me. Other than that, it's a very beautiful dress. Just be wary if you have no curves.

I went out on a limb ordering this because it isn't something I would normally wear. It is adorable in real life but see through and waaay too short. I am a short girl but have an ample rear and it just didn't work for me. Plus the see through aspect was a bit much. Really cute, I wish I could have worn it!
