It fits really snug around the ribcage and chest area, but it still accommodated my bust (34E), so it was perfect. The combination of the well-fitted torso with the ample amount of fabric in the skirt is really flattering! The fabric is pretty heavy, so it lays nicely over curves and TWIRLS incredibly! I loved it. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's simple, but with very classy details.

I felt lovely in this dress. The 2 fit perfectly without a bra (I could not zip it up when I was wearing one). The 4 fit fine in the chest with a bra, but it was a little loose in the waste. If you wear a bra, you will probably need wear a strapless one, so straps don't show. The bustle was fun and feminine, and I received a lot of compliments!

This dress was amazing. Fit great (although the 4 was a little snug right around the middle - had they had the size 6 available, that probably would have been more comfortable, but overall it was still great). The back detail is super cute and flattering on a pear shape. High quality fabric and the back zipper actually zips all the way down through the bottom of the dress.

Zips all the way from top to bottom and the zipper had some issues. So glad I chanced it and tried it anyhow!

My usual size was unavailable so I had to size down. It just worked but only because my chest and ribs are small. If you're well endowed on top, stick with your size or maybe even size up. The skirt was nice and full. It almost 'danced' as I walked. It was a perfect dress for my anniversary dinner with my hubby!

This dress made me feel like a princess! It's hard to photograph the bustle in the back but it has body and is fun and sways sassily when you walk. I matched gold jewelry to the bold zipper and I went without a bra because my straps kept creeping into the neckline. It was an inch tall for me in shoulders but standing up straight made it unnoticeable. The band around the torso right above your hips is too snug to pull down but that's why it poofs out so nicely. Size up for your spare

This may be my favorite dress ever! It runs a bit big, I got both the 10 and 12. The zipper on the 10 was broken and unfortunately there wasn't another available. I wore the 12 because I loved the dress and had planned my jewelry and everything around it. It was a bit lose, but still looked great I think! Very comfortable and fun. I would buy this dress if I could, it is the perfect LBD for someone in their 20s - simple, yet not boring at all!

This dress was perfect for the event. All the bridesmaids picked out classic black cocktail dresses and this fit the bill. The waist is very narrow with no give. I'm glad it fit on me - some people noted that the torso runs a bit long. I have a super short torso, but it was only a touch long on me, not enough for me to pin up the straps or anything. The back is very full and fluffs nicely. I loved the matte fabric and the little ribbon trim around the bottom. The chest area fit fine, but had I been any bigger or been wearing a bra with additional padding, it would have been too much. Oh, and the zipper is gold. I couldn't figure that out until I got the dress no matter how I looked at the screen, so there you go! Overall, this dress was the perfect dress for the occasion. Would happily rent this again.

I ordered a 2 & 4. The 2 fit but if you are C cup + I would get the larger size. It was a little snug in the bust area. I went with wearing the 4 and it fit great! PROS: Comfortable, great length, I'm 5'5 and it fell just at the knee. CONS: I couldn't keep it!!!!

Dress fit true to size and was very comfortable the zipper up the back and the layers make the dress unique - I got a ton of compliments !

I wear a 6 at Loft/Banana Republic, and an 8 most other places. So I ordered the 8 and backup size 10, and didn't need the bigger size. It is a long waisted dress, so the straps were sliding off my shoulders most of the night as I am very short waisted. And the zipper in the back wouldn't stay completely zipped while I was dancing, usually coming undone 4-6 inches. If I owned it, I'd have a hook and eye added at the top, and the straps shortened.

I loved the dress! It fit me perfectly. I was worried that the back of the dress would flare out too much making my butt look bigger than it already is, but it didn't at all. It fit my bottom really well. It also was nicely fitted on the top. It is perfect for those who have a small waist and bigger hips.

I loved wearing this dress, I felt like I looked great all night! I wore the 4, it was so flattering because its tight at the waste and bells out for a perfect 'fit and flare' look. The bustle in the back in combination with the long gold zipper gave this LBD something special. Would recommend for hourglass and pear shaped bodies.

I was nervous this wouldn't fit but it was perfect! I'm busty/curvy/short and I could have gone bra less if I wanted. The skirt was full but didn't make me look like I was drowning in fabric. You will definitely want to give this dress a twirl!

People upon first sight thought the dress was plain black. Then when I turned around...SURPRISE!!! The only issue with the dress was that the straps ran big, so they gapped a bit over the shoulders and my back. This was a replacement dress for one that was damaged and RTR couldn't send me though, so I went with it.

I wore this dress for my engagement photos. Luckily it photographed pretty well and accentuated my small waist. However, as a curvy girl with a short torso, I will not rent this dress again. The torso was just really long for me so it was ill-fitted. However, it was really nice quality and I loved the back.

Wore for photos with my girls and LOVED this dress. The fabric, fit, and feel were all amazing. I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I could. Will definitely rent again if I had an event to go to. Runs true to size, if you have larger bust-- size up will fit best.

I loved this dress! It has a great weight to it and beautiful proportions. I was happy with the fit and the fact that I could wear a normal bra. I didn't end up wearing it because it was a bit too formal for the event but I would definitely rent it again.

This dress is EVERYTHING. If you love to dance at a wedding or party, you need to have it. I normally wear a Size 2 or 4 and this fit me perfectly. I am small chested so keep that in mind. I'm 5'6 and 135 lean/muscular frame and this dress made me feel especially womanly. When I spun around the dance floor, I could hear the gasps of enjoyment of those watching. I received compliments from both men and women. This is a hit. Dress it up with sparkly shoes and jewelry and you are all set!

This dress was a stunner. Fit me like a glove, the neckline was beautiful and the back was sooo pretty! The dropped waist was really flattering on a tall pear. Exposed zipper runs the whole length of the dress, which makes it look modern despite the retro feel of the back ruffle. The "ruffle" (which was way prettier than it sounds) made the dress nice and heavy (which was great as it kept it flowing nicely and made it look more expensive). The dress I received personally was a little out of shape (the horsehair in the edges were a bit wonky and the back of the bodice had a little wrinkle in it) but it was not really noticeable to other people and I did not even care! Size 4 fit me well, definitely true to size (had I been a pound or two heavier it would have been a little uncomfortable). A lovely dress, totally wanted to keep it!

Dress was great! I got the 8 and 10. 10 was perfect, 8 looked and smelled like it wasn't cleaned. I had a Dryel dry cleaning bag, so I tossed the 8 in and it came out looking fresh and clean! The 10 was a little loose, so that's why I went through the effort with the 8. I received lots of complements. Dress was very comfortable. Fabric was heavy, but looked great. I'm renting another dress for an event next week! Thanks RTR!

I absolutely adored this dress and can't wait to have a reason to rent it again. The dress is classic, but with plenty of details to jazz it up - the bustle, the low back and the exposed gold zipper. Plus it twirls like to you wouldn't believe (highly recommend shorts if expecting to twirl a lot)! I have never gotten so many compliments on an LBD before, including one from a celebrity who couldn't believe it was RTR! I ordered both the 2 and the 0, and ended up going with the 0 since I was going to be dancing. The 0 was definitely tighter on top, but the straps and arm holes on the 2 felt just a little baggy. I paired it with the gold leaf headwrap, gold art deco bracelet, and the Marchesa Hummingbird earrings and it made for one fantastic outfit. Looking forward to wearing again!

It fit true to size. I could wear a normal bra with the dress but had to keep an eye on the straps they would peek out in the back. It is snug at the waist but still very comfortable. I'd rent it again

The dress has no give but runs true to size. I'm small up top and didn't have to wear a bra. Very comfortable to dance in, the skirt was fun and I didn't have to watch myself at the wedding's sit down dinner! It's great for tall girls. I'm 5"10 and i almost wished it were a little shorter, which never happens! I'm so glad I rented it!

This dress was amazing to dance in, I twirled all night!! I ended up wearing the 2, which was a tighter fit around the top, but the fabric was stretchy enough that it worked well. Love love love!

The dress was gorgeous - I got tons of compliments - but it was a little snug around the midsection and some of the fabric bunched because I have a small torso. Other than that, it was class and sass combined and I had a very pleasant rental experience.

I absolutely love this dress and wanted to keep it forever and never take it off, but here are a few things I noticed about it: 1. The back zipper goes all the way down. Not really an issue - just a surprise. 2. Very full skirt. Twirled in it like a little girl. Felt like a princess. Loved it. 3. I thought it ran a little large, but I have a very small rib cage. Plenty of room at the bust for fuller breasts, though (I'm a D cup). 4. Can wear a regular bra. The back is low, but not so low that it would expose your bra. The shoulder straps are a little wide-set for me, so I had to place my bra carefully - there was nothing to hold the bra straps beneath the shoulder straps. 5. Long. The 4 was knee length on me and I'm leggy for my height - I have a 35" inseam. 6. Slightly long in the torso. Hit me a little below my natural waist - this might be an issue if you are particularly short torso'ed. 7. Zipper will not stay up. Repeat: Zipper. Will. NOT. Stay. Up. It only unzips a little, but that was annoying. I could hear it unzip, too. There were no hooks at the top of the zipper, like some dresses, to keep this from happening. ANNOYING. 8. Skirt is weird to sit on. I wore this to a funeral and there was a lot of sitting on some not so comfortable seats. The skirt made it less comfortable. This dress is definitely more for standing around and looking fabulous (or dancing! Yay twirls!) than for sitting.

I thought the fit was perfect. I loved the back, and dancing was so much fun in it. I wish it was a little more glam in the front though. For size, I am in between a 2 and 4. I am 34B, weigh about 128 with athletic frame. I could have worn the 2 with no bra, but I thought after all the eating and drinking and for comfort - I stuck with the 4 and wore a good bra.

First RTR dress and I couldn't be happier. It fit perfectly -- very fitted on top and full skirt on the bottom. The skirt had that nice bustle detail without making you look big. Overall a great choice.

Very comfortable dress, different than the average LBD. I did tack up the shoulders due to my short waisted frame.

I'm 5'7 135lbs and usually a size 4 dress. I wore a size 4 and it fit perfectly as I expected a size 4 to fit. I can see how the torso could be a bit long for petite ladies but this one fit me almost perfect. I wore it with a chevron fringe jacket so i didn't pay much attention to the small amount of bunching it may have done while under my jacket. I loved the back detail but didn't want to sit on it since I thought it might crimp what ever material was keeping the material loosely curved in the back. Fun for dancing as it spins all the way out, this is a second reason to wear shorty panties. I did also notice the material was somewhat worn on the bottom half of the dress but if it's past dusk or you'r not right on it you can hardly tell. Great dress, would rent it again, sorta want one for myself!

Hard to see, but I wore this under a RTR coat. The dress was so fun and flirty. It fit true to size, maybe just slightly big. I loved the bottom of the dress. It was sexy yet sophisticated. I wanted to twirl in it all night!!

I rented this for an engagement party and I loved it because of the bustle in the back and how much fabric swung around as I was dancing. I felt like it made the night more fun! I also loved how comfortable this dress was! I could move in it and was not worried about any wardrobe malfunction. I loved the detail of the zipper in the back going all the way down too which made it easy to get on. I would recommend a backless bra though since the back goes low. I tried it with regular bras and part of the back of the bra was always showing. The backless one was fine and I felt the dress was snug enough to keep it up.
