The dress was fabulous. Runs very small. I may be an 8 but i wore a large. I received a lot complaints. Perfect for the occasion and fit perfectly.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, CLASSY & defines ELEGANCE! Wore it to my grandmother's 100 birthday celebration. A special dress for a very special occassion. Material does not stretch. Im usually a 2 & wore a 4. The buttons running down the front would pop open because they were loose but i just pinned them from the inside with safety pins and VOILA - magic!

My mom said i looked like i was on the titanic but of that meant i looked like i owned the night in this dress, then I'm good with I️t. Sooo many compliments and i felt like a million bucks. Very classy. I would totally rent again. One thing- i ticked one of the ruffles in bc my mom pointed out looked like i had Pom poms. She was kinda right. :)

Loved the pink mixed with the black lace and long sleeves, very sexy in a subtle way. It runs SMALL and has zero stretch. I ordered the medium originally and it fit great IF I was going to stand still and not move my arms from my side, literally I felt locked it... returned it for the large and it was perfect. I am 5' 7", 140 lbs and a solid size 6, so I don't usually wear a size large in anything. The chest ran a bit small for me, but I left a few buttons open at the neck it did the trick.

The lace skirt part was my worry but it ended up being my favorite part of the dress, and those sleeves. Fun.

I hadn't realized I had actually already worn this dress in the past to another event. But for reference I'm 5'7" 138 pounds size 28 natural waist 36 bust. I could not get it zipped and I believe I wore a large the last time. It's a very pretty, fitted but still somewhat modest dress.

The buttons would not stay buttoned and I had to pin it but other than that I liked the rental.

Loved the dress however it was tight on my larger bust. It has little buttons and they did not stay closed. I had to wear a little black bustier bra underneath that luckily matched well. Be mindful if you're large breasted. Other than that the dress fit everywhere else perfectly. Love body fit, the lace and sleeves

It fit true to size. The lace has no stretch so you need to know your true size. Other than that, it provides a fabulous shape. It gives you a real modest sexy/classy Look!!

Dress fit beautifully. very elegant. Can add a little edge by leaving the buttons open in the front.

The dress was exactly what I was looking for - the fit and elegance as shown is exactly how it looked in person! It was true to size and very comfortable to stand in, sit in and be in all night. It was a little tight by the arms but as the night went on, it was fine. The buttons in the front (some of them) were a little loose and kept un-popping so I used two safety pins and then was completely fine & worry free the rest of the night! Highly recommend :)

I rented it for a birthday dinner! First time using RTR. Was e little bit skeptical at the beginning, especially regarding the size. I don't even buy clothes online because it NEVER fits! However the representative was able to walk me trough everything so I finally placed my first order. I loved every moment while wearing this dress! Looked gorgeous, very comfortable and perfect fit! Definitely I will use RTR again!

I loved this dress so much I bought it. Got tons of compliments. I wore with boots (January in New England), but will pair nicely with heels when it warms up. Only knock is that the buttons pop open when you move around. I am flat chested, so it wasn't an issue for me. But busty ladies beware!

Overall perfect fit--I prob could have fit the small since MEDIUM wasn't skin tight but lace has no give so glad I ordered up. I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs. If you're on the shorter side you need the high heels to elevate since dress is long.

I did wear this dress 5 months pregnant! But, like all the other reviews the Buttons would not stay out snd had to be safely pinned shut. Kind of annoying

Super flattering!! Received compliments all night. The buttons do tend to pop open but this was easily fixed with a few safety pins.

I do not want to send this dress back! It's the best dress I've ever worn. Non stop compliments. It's even more intricate than you think. The material is dreamy and the tailoring is like couture. A must wear, gorgeous, almost novelty of a dress! If you want to get super noticed at an event and want to snag a new boyfriend, wear this dress. My guy almost fell over when he picked me up.

Used for a photoshoot. Does not allow for too much movement but it is comfortable and form fitting. The lace detail is perfect and there is enough coverage for you to avoid feeling overexposed because of the fabric. Love this dress!

Wore this to a private showing of the Sistine Chapel! So beautiful and elegant! I'm a 34C though and the buttons wouldn't stay buttoned on the chest. I had to leave them undone

It was as others have described- not a lot of give and the buttons totally popped open. I safety pinned them closed- (it was easy to hide the pins) and had no futher issues. The medium was snug so I went for the large and it was perfect! I was a running a gala so I needed to feel like I wasnt worried about tucking anything back in or flashing anyone when I was bending over. It was elegant, sexy and comfortable! I received tons of complements for the night.

The neckline, those sleeves, the fit.... compliments and admiring looks all night. And rightly so, this piece is so well done, the details are to die for, the design is extravagant, even the Mad Hatter was admiring it! Wore it to a gala. This is pretty fitted, and i felt I had to suck-in the momma pooch all night, but was worth the sacrifice. Haha. Loved this gorgeous design by Alexis and highly recommend it!

This dress! I love lace, and this dress was classy, unique and luxurious. I am busty (32DD) and petite (105lbs) so the chest was on the tighter side. But I liked the fitted look and did not need to wear a bra. I wore an XS because the S was too loose. The sleeves were detailed to perfection! It was a bit difficult to eat, but once I folded the sleeve backwards it was fine. It even arrived early. I loved this dress, I was sad to give it back! Thanks RTR!

Fit perfectly! Great quality! Heavy in weight, silky satin interior, very comfortable! #blacktieevent. I typically wear an XS - S. Had both sent to me. XS was tight in the shoulders and arms. S was perfect! Similar to the other reviews, the bust buttons easily popped open, and I'm not busty at all. It wasn't a big issue. Wore braless. Very happy w my choice and would rent again!

This dress is so unique and so memorable. I love that it's mostly dark lace, but it's got a feminine touch! It fit really well in the size Large and was very flattering! I wore it with a nude standard bra and you couldn't even tell, even though the lace on the shoulders is see-through.

The dress is gorgeous but runs small. If possible, order a size up.

Love this dress but the stretch less lace material made my usual medium a little uncomfortable. I went ahead and wore the large to be on the safe size. I usually wear a size 4.
