This dress hugged all the right spots. I wouldn't say that it was the most comfortable dress ever but I got so many compliments and I felt amazing in it.

It hugs in all the right places, giving you an hour glass-shape. I would've ordered a size up though - it was a little tight around the rump.

I absolutely love this style! I wore it to a conference and received so many compliments. It's a fitted style that runs a bit small. I do recommend sizing up if you're more on the curvier side. The fabric is not stretchy.

Take your normal size- a 0 fit me comfortable in the waist but very snug in the bust. Stride is very shortened and theres is no split in the back . Good for work or family event

Love these sleeves but it was a really tight fit! Worked for one day at work ;)

This dress was ok. A little short on me for conservative work place (5'10"). The hips were not tight when wearing or when putting on. However when it was time to use the facilities was extremely tight over the hips to the point I was fearful of ripping a seam. In general this dress was ok. Didn't receive the slew of compliments I usually get in a RTR ensemble.

I ordered my size based on a previous Black Halo dress and I think the only problem was maybe the fabric was not as stretchy as the former dress. The lack of stretch make the skirt pretty restrictive (so I couldn't walk comfortably) and the bust very restrictive (attn: armpit boob). On that note, the amount of armpit showing (plus overall tightness of the dress) is something I am not comfortable with in my office. On a style-standpoint, the shoulders did not express the drama it could have, maybe because of pre-wear, wash, or shipment.

I'm between a 2 and a 4, and ordered the 4 based on reviews. It was still very form fitting. If I were to rent again, I'd probably size up once more for a more appropriate office fit. Great silhouette. Very nipped in at the waist. I really liked this dress.

I love this dress. Although it's pretty simple, I felt like a million bucks wearing this dress. I sized up to an 8, which was perfect. I have a pear shape-- the bottom portion fit great and the top wasn't too large. I can almost never find a fitted dress without stretch that fits so well. The little cape effect over the sleeves makes the dress look special. If I didn't already have tons of dresses, I'd buy this one. Will rent again.

This dress from Black Halo is adorable and has these little wings on the shoulders that I love. It runs very small, although perhaps I should have just sized up. It is particularly small in the chest and shoulders.

I rented this to wear to an all day conference. I wore it from 8 in the morning until almost midnight and it was amazing. I am a 0/2 in RTR and following other reviewers, I sized up to a 2 - it fit perfectly. The material is well-lined and substantial - so it lays wonderfully and is very comfortable. I do think that this dress works best if you have a boyish/straight figure which I definitely do. I could see the hips being very tight if you're curvy but on me it gave me tons of curves and was extremely flattering. I would definitely rent again and will add Black Halo to my go to brands.

Hugs your curves. Runs true to size (some Black Halo runs very small on me, this one fit well). The skirt is very tailored so you can't take big steps and walking up steep stairs takes a little thought. Fit is very tailored. Really like the dress.

This dress runs small. I usually order a 0 and a 2 but ordered a 2 and a 4 after reading other reviews. The two was fitted and the 4 was more comfortable, but looked off because it was too loose. I ended up wearing the 2 and loved it. I got compliments all night.

There is no split on the bottom so it's hard to walk in this dress

Clean lines and just the right amount of edge to be a show stopper. Shoulders were gorgeous and still lay flat under a blazer. Held back a star b/c with next to no stretch and no slit it's next to impossible to navigate stairs or even a trip to the bathroom. I'm guessing a man designed this one! Size would be perfect with a little stretch.

Solid work dress for more formal work place

I appreciate the feedback from others regarding the fit of this dress. I've rented almost every black halo sheath dress and this is the most form fitting by far. The 2 was like a glove, but did restrict my movement (and confidence!) since there is no slit. At 5'7" and 123 lbs the 4 would have been more appropriate and more comfortable for work. Hope that helps!

Loved this dress. But I had to wear spanx, and it was still pretty tight. So definitely size up. The discomfort was worth it though - I got SO many compliments on this dress. It's very classy. Will rent again!

Very flattering sheath dress with cape sleeves that add a nice modern flare. I wore it both to a daytime work event and an evening cocktail party. The dress is cut very narrowly in the skirt, and doesn't have a slit, so it's a bit hard to walk if you are taking large strides.

This dress is gorgeous. But even with a size bigger than I normally wear it still was very formfitting and tight. There is no split in the skirt so you got to wiggle out of your car.

Awesome dress very flattering. Only thing that bothered me was the fact that the fabric was not giving. It was tight on my bottom area, so made it uncomfortable for stairs steps and sitting down. Worth it anyways.
