I wore this to a brunch at an art museum. It was perfect. I ordered a size larger than I should have, so the fit was a little loose. But honestly, I think it probably looked better that way! It is an instant classic, has a bit of funk with the asymmetrical lines and buttons which make it fun. Definitely encourage renting.

I wore a size larger than what I would have liked to, I'd suggest sizing down. Perfect for work occasion.

Loved this dress - I wore it in the winter with tights and booties and it was the perfect outfit for an upscale dinner. I liked that it was conservative enough to be appropriate around my family members and my parent's colleagues but also unique enough to be on trend and modern. The fit was large at the shoulders, tight at the hips causing the top to bunch a little. I went up to a size 6 because the size 4 was tight in the hip area, but I prefer the boxier look. Will definitely rent again!

This dress was very fun and extremely comfortable. I got compliments all day long! The style is boxy up top, but the bottom is more form fitting (which I felt ensured that it still gave my narrow body some shape.) I have a long torso and the band separating the top piece from the skirt sat right on top of my hips; it felt like a natural fit.

Wore it to an ambassador's holiday dinner at his residence; it stood out but was still understated and conservative enough for the occasion. It was very comfortable!

If this were new, it would have been awesome. But I got the piece looking slightly worn. The buttons were loose and the neckline was wrinkly and gross. It's a great piece, tho!

The skirt was a little snug but the dress generally fit well.

I think this might look good on someone who's narrow and has no curves. It just looked off on me. The top bunched quite a bit and the bottom was tight. The boxy effect just didn't suit me. The bottom is cute though. It also hit me mid thigh so not suitable for work for taller women if you have a conservative office environment.

It's a really cute dress, but its definitely meant for women without curves. It made me look like a couture sack of potatoes. I think it would work for straighter body types, not worried about having a waistline.

Not appropriate for petite persons. The torso was way too long and bunched up around my waist. Would be great for someone a little taller.

I would go two sizes down in this dress, it's cut large and roomy, but my normal size really looked like a potato sack.
