The dress fit great and was really comfortable all night. The only downsides were that the hanger straps kept sliding out (and there were four of them!) and as another reviewer noted, the hip area gets kind of bunch-y if you don't have the hips to fill it out. However I don't think it was noticeable and it wasn't that big of a deal for me. I would definitely rent this dress again.

I wish I could buy this dress. It's form fitting, elegant, modern, and made me feel beautiful. From the other reviews I thought I'd be able to wear a XS, but the S fit me much better.

It fit like a glove and was slimming in the hip area. It highlighted curves. I will say that the material was pretty stretchy without too much structure, so I did choose to wear Spanx underneath. Also, the little hanger straps kept falling out all night, but I could have solved that with fashion tape. Overall, great dress!

I was 4 months post partum and not sure on size at all. I got medium and large just in case, both fit and looked good, but large was better with my chest and more comfortable so I wore that one. (Bonus: Easy to pump with as well with zipper in back)

This was a great dress! The neck line is unique and I feel like it made me stand out from the other Little Black Dresses in the room. It was a little tight, but the fabric has a lot of stretch.

The dress fits me well. But i can also order a small size. I'm 126 lb and 5.9. This dress is perfect for dancing

This was a flattering dress -- loved that it was conservative with some fun design flairs. I did end up using fashion tape to help keep the straps attached to my bra.

This was my first RTR [definitely will not be the last], and I was so impressed with the quality of the material. Totally worth the value. It fits true to size. This was my backup dress but I ended up wearing it because the material is thick [and it was cold out!]. The zipper was quite difficult to open and close each time and I needed a hand. The high-low design is cute. I was concerned about where the hem would end up on me, but it was fine, it hung just below the knees. I loved that I could wear a regular bra with it. The band that's off the shoulder and around the chest is constricting and rides up if you lift your arms even a little bit, so not a good choice if you're gonna be dancing or moving your arms a lot. If you are more comfortable with a covered design rather than something revealing, this is perfect.

I got this dress for my Aunt's wedding and was very unhappy with it. It ran big and I didn't like the top of the dress. I returned it as soon as I got it.

I just love the way this dress looks from the waist up ... but then it all goes downhill on me. The material around the hips bunches/poofs/gathers on my body because it's such a dramatic cut. This would look STUNNING on someone with full hips and booty (if you know, you know) but I don't quite match up. Because it just didn't fit me overall, I can't quite tell if it's true to size or not ... so take that with a grain of salt. Also, the bottom of the skirt doesn't really have a hem, so it doesn't look as put-together as the top.

Beautiful dress! The fabric was a little thick, but is so comfortable and has a lot of stretch! I wish I had picked this dress of the two I rented for a formal work event. The zipper was difficult to get without someone helping, but totally worth it.

This is a great dress for a curvy frame. The one I received had some wear issues on the sides, the seams were starting to come apart, I’m assuming because of frequent wear of other renters. But overall this dress was great!

Fabric is a big plus - it holds everything in. I found the dress to be comfortable and very flattering.

I wore this to a bridal show where i had a booth. I wanted something that had style but was more conservative than I'm used to. This was perfect! It was stretchy and I didn't have to wear a bra, so check check. Not your average LBD, and it came in at the waist so is flattering for hourglass shapes.

This is a form-fitting dress made from a thick stretchy fabric. I didnt expect to love this as much as I did and I was able to dance all night! I did not need to wear a bra either. My usual size was very comfortable.

This is a nice dress. It is comfortable and fits fairly true to size.

I am usually an XS, but I ordered a S and it fit like an XS. I ordered it because of reviews of extra fabric in the hips. I have 38" hips and a 25" waist and S was almost too small in the hips. A pair of Spanx and all will be well.

The fabric of the dress is very thick and nice. The style is gorgeous. I'm usually a size 6 but sometimes an 8 depending on the dress so I ordered a M and L. I am hourglass shaped but more petite, and the dress was too big in the hips. It bunched up like there was extra fabric. I would recommend this dress for someone who is truly curvy.

Form fitted but the fabric is forgiving. The Neckline does come a bit high. Overall I received alot of compliments and it was a great in between a gown and a cocktail dress.

Overall the dress is very pretty and a heavy, flattering material. Women with athletic, straight or petite builds beware that this dress was made for women with curves. The hip area has extra material for curvier hips so I had to tape it down with fashion tape all over my legs and hips. I even had RTR overnight me another Large because I thought the original was just stretched out in the hip area but turns out it's just how the dress is made. This dress runs small. I'm typically a true medium or size 6/8, 36B, athletic build, 5'5 and wore the large.

Really cool neckline. A little more curve hugging than I usually go for, but got a ton of compliments. The only con was not being able to raise my arms when I was dancing- I felt a little like a t-rex. I'm usually a 6/8 and wore a large...I wouldn't wear it any tighter!

Overall, I loved this dress and the fit. The only issue I had was that the hips on the dress sat below my actual hips, so the sides of the dress ended up bunching up. Therefore, I ended up not wearing it and going with a different style. The dress did run a bit small, but the material was a nice thick stretchy material that I'm sure if the hips fit correctly, would have flattered nicely.

The fit was ok a little big on the hips. The material is thick which is deceiving in pictures but worked out because the party was indoor/outdoor.

Super comfortable dress, and very flattering. The material is a substantial but stretchy ponte that is pretty forgiving. I typically take an 8 or maybe a 10, got a M and an L, but wore the L, the M fit everywhere except the top, where it runs smallish. The bottom on other hand runs big, and particularly in the L, there were a few inches in the hip area that were a looser than intended for a form-fitting type dress. Especially good for pear-shape i would imagine (i am more hourglass or apple). But overall i thought it looked good and was easy to wear. Only downside - there are hanger loops attached to the band that goes around the top, and they kept coming out. I tried taping them to the inside of the band and that kinda worked but the tape gave out before the end of the evening and i had the loops popping out again. When the dress arrived, those loops weren't in use (the bigger ones from the armhole area were) so maybe RTR would consider snipping off the smaller ones on the top?

I didn't end up wearing this at all. The top was too big and the bottom was WAY too fitted for a work event.

This dress is not for athletically built women. If you don't have 'hips' to speak of the dress puffs out where your hips should be. :( I returned it within hours of receiving my order.
