This obviously runs very large. If you normally wear a large I would still order an extra small. There are long armholes so you can see in slightly from the side, so I paired with a bralette. It is also slightly sheer but not enough that you have to wear a shirt underneath if you don't want. I have worn this twice and received multiple compliments on it each time.

This is a fantastic bohemian summer top! This is sheer top is light an airy with beautiful detail on the back. While this top runs slightly large- this is a Kaftan, and meant to be an over-sized look and loose fitting. This top pairs well with skinny jeans or shorts. I would only recommend sizing down if you do not want the intended over-sized fit. This is truly a great comfortable summer top to mix into your wardrobe!

Very much a free people top-- loose, the back has beautiful embroidery, and it'a a lot of fun to wear. I normally wear a L, rented the M and it was still quite large, but if you want a flowing tunic it fits the bill! I wore it as a cover up, with (longer) shorts for an outdoor movie, and with pants to work.

I got this for a weekend at the beach. Wore it with jeans. Awesome top. Hid all my flaws while being comfortable and looking chic. I don't think the online image does this shirt any justice. It's a lot more intricate in real life.

It's very big. It's light. Feels like it would be fun to put on at the beach over your swimsuit.

This top is MASSIVE!!!! Seriously. It's not a cute, oversized big top....it's huge! Like, you can't wear it huge! I am usually a size 4 (S), but this small sized shirt fit one of my friends who is a size 16! Size down at least TWO sizes.

I never leave bad reviews but this top just wasn't good for me. It was very sheer and very large fitting. The armholes are so large that when you lift your arm you can see your skin and bra. I know that Free People has loose fitting clothing with a bohemian vibe and I've worn some of their stuff and loved it so that's why I thought this would be a good choice. It made me look heavy and was extremely unflattering on me.

I cannot imagine who this shirt was designed for. If this shirt was 3 feet wide I wouldn’t be exaggerating. It is HUGE. Also, a large portion of the shirt is a plain cotton which was kind of sticky/clingy despite it being enormous. I tried this on with jeans, but ended up not wearing it and sent it back straight away. Disappointing.

Loved this top! Runs large and flowy, but that's what I wanted! Perfect wear for my post beach sunburnt shoulders. The back of this top is beautiful! Would rent again!

I wore this comfy top during BottleRock weekend. It's made from drapey/swingy jersey cotton fabric and has lace panels on the back and sleeves. As others have said, it does run large. And it's a true tunic -- it could also be worn as a swimsuit cover up. The jersey part of this top has an unfinished hem which was unraveling a tiny bit here and there from wear, but it was hardly noticeable. Great rental.

True, this was billowy to the extreme; I was grateful I had read other folks' reviews. I was glad I had rented the size I would had reached for on the rack, though I was (foolishly, maybe, given the accuracy of the photos) surprised by the sheer panels for sleeves. The v-neck opening allowed the shoulders to line up without any trouble. I wore a boy's tank under it, a cashmere poncho over it, and a long striped scarf with it. I added boots to toughen it up. I'm not sure I would rent it again, but I liked it this time around.

So, true to free people this runs big because it is meant to be flowy. But I don't understand what someone shorter than me would have done. It came to my mid thigh. But if you are 5'5" or taller go for it because it is feminine and has this very subtle floral on the back and I loved it.

I wore this shirt with jeans and boots and it looked really great. It is very loose and you need to go down one or two sizes. In addition, you should wear a shirt underneath like a camisole or something like that so that you are not exposing yourself.

This material and style is very pretty, but the blouse is huge and much too long for a shorter person. I rented the XS and could not wear it. Would maybe fit better on a taller person.

I wanted to love this shirt but ultimately it was too unflattering to wear. It hit at the widest point of my hips and was more boxy than drapey. The material was great though!

The large is really big! I usually like things big and flowy but I almost didn't wear it because it was a little excessive. I forgot Free People normally runs on the bigger side. It was Super cute though and got lots of compliments! I would definitely rent again!

This was comfy, but I am small and the extra small was pretty big. Order down a size and if you are on the small spectrum of XS this might be a little too large.

So, it's a breezy boho concept that was poorly executed by Free People. It's called a kaftan, yet is more aptly categorized as maternity wear. The embroidery was nice and the fabric very soft, but it was a flimsy, overly sheer material. To be honest, the top belongs in Forever 21. It just felt kind of cheap and unflattering. And I think it's more of a one size fits all situation, wherein any size would be best suited with the XS. Seriously, the small was like wearing a tent.

I'm a big girl and this ran huge. I looked like I was wearing a vintage table cloth. Having said that it was very well made and beautifully embroidered. If you are skinny and can handle lots of extra fabric then this is a great item. If you are not, maybe not so much.

This was huge! More like a moo moo tunic. I am busty and it was not flattering, must layer this pierce as everything is exposed.
