This dress was very flattering and I would highly recommend it! The fit & flare shape is forgiving & perfect for someone who has a smaller waist and is a little more curvy in the hips.

Fit was perfect, had to use a backless bra, but the dress really holds you in, yet is still very comfortable. I would say though if you have larger breasts, order a size up (I am very flat in that area...lol)

I'm only 5'0" but wanted a longer dress. This fit the bill. Short in front with the side longer. Got so many compliments!!

Hugged and accented all the right places. So easy to dance in all night long. Loose enough in the stomach so couldn't see bloat after dinner but very form fitting!

The bold cut and color really provided the punch, making this dress a real attention grabber. The tight torso accentuated by bust and waist, making me feel sexy. As a thin-minded girl in a size 8 body, this dress gave me the figure I wanted and knew I had hiding under my little layer of padding. Plus, the dress gets tight in the perfect spot so that I could still enjoy a dinner and cake during the reception. The back is very sheer and low enough to expose a bra strap, so I wore a stick-on bra. It made my boobs a weird shape, but luckily the tight dress held them in place and created a good shape. The train worked perfectly for my height- I never stepped on it. As someone who is usually very anti-high-low dresses, I loved this angled cut. I paired the dress with simple black heals to create a defined separation between leg and foot. I wore big, yet simple statement earrings from FreePeople. I decided to keep my hair behind my back (Kim Kardashian style) to highlight my shoulders and waist, instead of hiding behind my hair. Great dress. I would rent it again, but maybe in the black color to avoid repeating- after all, isn't that the point of RTR?

Fit very true to sizee

This dress was perfect for a November wedding in Southern California. I was a bit worried about the length, but in my 3.5" heels, the 4R just barely skimmed the ground (for reference, I am 5'5"). The material is a little thicker than it may appear, and stretched just enough to be comfortable and flattering. I would rent it again in a heartbeat!

This was my first try with RTR & I was so happy, the dress is absolutely beautiful! The color changes a bit based on lighting so it's not always as bright as the original picture makes it appear but never the less the cut & details are stunning. My usual size wasn't available but thanks to the reviews I went ahead & ordered a size up which fit pretty much perfectly. Im large chested, broad shouldered & have a curvy lower half & the 10 fit comfortably with a little room to move. I'm 5'7" and wore heals & the dress just skimmed over the floor. Definitely need an adhesive or backless bra because of the sheer detail, I tried it on with no bra & it seemed supportive but at a DD I felt I need a little more. If you rent this dress you will absolutely be happy with the choice!

I'm 5'10, 140lbs. Hourglass figure. Fit perfectly and really highlighted my figure. Received compliments all night. There is buttons on the one shoulder so it can be gotten on without messing up your hair.

This dress fit perfectly. Runs very true to size for me and since I'm tall the long part of the dress did not hit the floor with med heels. I suspect the long part of the skirt would drag or require tall heels for shorter women to feel comfortable. The dress also made dancing that night at the wedding so much fun. A few turns let the skirt swirl around my calfs and everyone loved it. Also, this is the perfect dress for a formal church ceremony and a really fun reception. You will definitely need an adhesive bra since the back is sheer. Overall, I'd get this dress 100 more times.

This was a replacement dress and I loved it. The other dress I rented did not look as good on me. Very cool dress.

I loved this dress! It was so fun to dance in and felt like the perfect compromise between a full length and a short dress for an event I wasn't sure of the formality. I wore it for a masquerade holiday party for work. You do need a backless bra due to the lace. I felt comfortable and beautiful all night long. The fabric is thick enough to hide most imperfections but thin enough that I didn't get overheated on a crowded dance floor. The size is very forgiving, the material has some stretch to it. Unfortunately I had just had surgery hence the mask.

This dress was very comfortable to wear and dance the night away in. I was able to wear a black strapless bra with it and it was not obvious or terrible looking with the sheer backing. The bra stayed right in place and the dress hugged me in all the right placed. It was a great dress for a summer formal wedding. I received quite a few compliments on it.

Fantatic dress. Nice and flowy. I'm 5' 7" and wore 4" heels and the dress just hovered over the floor. It's a beautiful combination of a gown and dress. The best part is the emboridered sheer back. A nubra would have worked well, but it was more comfortable without. The color is a striking cobalt, vibrant but not garish.

The fit was true to size and the color was stunning, could not wear a bra with this dress but that did not matter as the top of the dress was tight and the material is thick. The back of the dress is so unique and tasteful, would highly recommend this dress to anyone attending a black tie wedding!

Wonderful silhouette - fitted at the waist and the fabric is luxurious with weight but not heavy. Love the embroidered detail at the shoulder and the asymmetrical hem! Absolutely gorgeous color that will stand out in a crowd. I got many compliments on this dress and am tempted to rent it again!

The size 2 fit well and I didn't need to wear a bra. The size 4 also fit well but there was some weird creasing at the seam so I went with the 2.

I loved this dress. Both the 4R and 2R fit. The 4 gave a bit more room in the arms, as the fabric doesn't have any stretch or give. It was also longer, given how tall I am. I went with the 2 in the end because the 4 arrived wrinkled and with a slight stain on it. Overall, this is a stunning dress. The fit was great. I loved the detailed back and asymmetrical hemline. Got tons of compliments all night! I would definitely rent this again, and might even buy it too. It's both fun and super classy.

This fit true to size. If you're an hourglass or pear, this is a great dress. It huge the ribcage tightly and flows out so it's very forgiving of hips/thighs. The sheer back is gorgeous, I loved it.

I wore this dress for an evening symphony concert and loved how glamorous I felt in it! I wore 4" heels and the longest part of the hem in the back brushed the floor slightly. I found that the color was not quite as vibrant a color as in the model's picture (more of a royal blue rather than cobalt blue). The dress has a flattering cut and I loved the design on the back of the dress.

The top is very fitted but not uncomfortably so, and you cannot wear a regular bra due to the detailed back. But it hits just above your natural waste and just floats away. I loved the feel and flow of the skirt. The lowest part of the asymmetrical skirt was just above the floor in my 1.5" heels. The color is my favorite part - if you have blue eyes they will definitely pop!!

I wore this for an awards ceremony and loved it. The sheer back definitely requires a backless strapless bra (I wore a NuBra), but looks amazing, and the side high-low hem makes it so easy to walk. The fabric does definitely hold some wrinkle from shipping, so plan to steam it before wearing, but it doesn't wrinkle easily while wearing, so you'll look great all night. It's very much true to size, but the skirt flares, so order for the size that will fit best in the top.

I have a small frame and I'm short, so long dresses are often risky. This dress was perfect. The 0R fit my shoulders and waist, and the hi-lo hem was a great option. With 2.5 inch heels, the longest part just barely skimmed the floor. I felt fabulous all night long, and I got many compliments.

I am in love with this bright cobalt color. The hem is also very unique as is the back. However with the back , keep in mind you have to wear no bra or a Nu bra. I recommend sizing up for back up.

Such a gorgeous dress! It's wonderfully comfortable and the color is beautiful. The fit is a little loose through the heat if you aren't busty, but it's not noticeable in dim light.

The dress is really pretty but after finagling a bra to work with the sheer back (those stick on bras just don't hold up "the girls") and getting all zipped in, it was pretty snug on the top. I'm a 38ddd so consider that as you rent-no give in the fabric. But, the asymmetrical hemline is worth the discomfort.

Love this dress in photos and in person. The dress isn't as bright as the picture provided by RTR. My picture is true to colour. I rented it for my senior prom and loved it to death. The back was beautiful. I'm 5'8" and the dress dragged by an inch or two when I was not in my heels. I suggest getting a good backless bra. Mine was a knock off but having a tighter dress helped keep it on. I also wore it the next day to do senior photos

Buttons on right strap are hard to button by yourself.... Other than that I love the dress!!!

The fit was good, I wore a nubra, but the top was not forgiving or supportive, so it required moving the nubra around a bit. I am 5'4 and I wore 3" heels and the dress was dragging on the floor, to the point where I had to hold it because people were stepping on it. Overall, it wasn't my favorite rental, but it wasn't the worst either. Additionally, I am a little disappointed that I keep getting dresses with the hook and eye closures broken. This was no exception, and I am upset that this isn't something that the dry cleaning team isn't looking for and repairing. I am lucky that I know how to sew, but I don't think it should always be my job to be making dress repairs.

I actually purchased this dress from Rent the Runway and I am so glad I did! Because of the unique hi-Lo hem, this dress is very versatile and can be worn to lots of events depending on how you style it. So far, I have worn this to two cocktail weddings, opting for a more polished hair style, as well as to a fancier holiday party with my hair blown out, but otherwise down. The dress is a true beautiful sapphire blue, very saturated and rich in color. The waist is fitted so be sure to measure there carefully. Every time I have worn this dress I have received numerous compliments. As far as comfort goes, as long as it fits in the waist the dress is otherwise very comfortable. I have worn in hotter weather as well as cold and have always been fine.

I loved this dress. I'm pretty bummed because I don't have a picture of me in it. I only have a few headshots from that evening. I did get a lot of compliments. It was so fun to dance in! I felt elegant and sexy. I will add a pic if I come across one. It's been so long that I can't remember if I went with the 0r or 2r. Pretty sure it was the 2r. The 0r was just a tiny bit tight. The dress is true to size without much stretch to it. Definitely size up if you aren't sure.

It fit beautifully and I got tons of compliments. The color varies in different lighting -- sometimes it was bright cobalt and other times it was a darker navy. Overall, I felt trendy and vibrant but still conservative enough for an older crowd. Warning: The fabric was thick so I sweated a ton while dancing (so much so that the nubra came unstuck!). Thankfully the dress is pretty structured so I was able to head to the bathroom and restick without it being an issue.
