I have always loved the fit and style of Halston dresses and this was no exception- I wore my usual 8 and the dress fit like a glove. I was able to wear a normal bra with it, which is a huge plus. The slit is quite high (especially when sitting) but I was able to dance the night away at a wedding without issue and felt like a million bucks. My husband even had other guys compliment him on his wife with the high-slit dress! Will definitely be renting again!

This dress was amazing! The size 10 fit perfectly. I was nervous that the waist seam would hit at a strange spot but it was perfect. The fabric is thick so it goes a long way to hide a muffin top/spare tire. I did wear spanx underneath, but definitely don't wear the longer shorts kind because the slit comes up pretty high. Also you can wear a regular bra with this dress. I received a ton of compliments on this dress from total strangers, which felt fantastic. I loved this dress and would absolutely rent it again!

True to size, the slit is a bit too much but I felt sexy. I didn't need to wear a spanx under the dress because the dress is already shaped in a way it's no lt necessary to wear a spanx. I didn't need to tuck in my belly (I have big belly) since the dress kept me in shape. Would be interested in renting this dress again.

The slit adds drama to this tea length, little black dress! It runs a little large - I would recommend sizing down in this. There is comfortable room in the bust and it is great for any bust size. The dress is fitted at the natural waist but has a straight fit in the hips. I would pair this with black heels and a colorful statement necklace!

Wore this to a charity event and it was perfect! The length makes it feel formal, while the slit gives it a sexy twist. Fits true to size.

I rented this for a NYE wedding. I had my second baby 4 months ago and things didn't go back the way they once were but this dress hid everything perfectly and was very comfortable because of the stretchy material. I am breastfeeding so I need something that was tight to hold me in but stretchy since my breast size goes from a D to a DDD/F before I need to pump. The slit was effortlessly sexy! Would definitely recommend.

This dress was perfect for a charity gala. I'm 5'1" and have an athletic, muscular build so I sized up to be sure the back would zip. It was a little loose in the waist but not noticeable. I got compliments and was comfy all night. Paired it with lace-up nude pumps, a dressy white blazer, and citrine stone jewelry for some color.

This dress is extremely flattering and comfortable; it was worn for a formal fundraiser. I received so many compliments on it through the night. Just be aware of the side slit when sitting, as the material spreads apart when sitting and exposes your entire leg.

I wore this to a high end work event i had to work. I never once felt inappropriate and got tons of compliments. The material is forgiving as I'm not a small woman and I never once had to adjust the dress (even with the high slit). Totally want to buy!

This dress surprises well! Looks very simple on the hanger but after you get it on it's definitely a pleaser! The fit was excellent and the high slit added the right amount of sexy needed for the parents night out! Thinking about buying to keep! Only con is the zipper is kind of challenging. Needed help getting it up. Other than that, I loved it!

The dress was a bit tight for me. I would have preferred a larger size, but they were out. The dress bunched a bit in the waist to accommodate my hips, but because of the thick material, no one seemed to notice! I'm tall, so I was nervous the slit would be too high for me, but just looked sexy. I would rent the dress again (in a larger size!)

It's well tailored and the fabric is sturdy. It hugged me all in the righ places and showed off my curves well! I just felt amazing in this dress... it was hard to send it back!

I rented this dress for a black tie optional wedding and it was more than I expected! I felt stunning, beautiful, sexy and classy, all at once. It made me look and feel tall and slender and I would absolutely rent this dress again. I am 5'7", 170, and it hugged my curves in all the right places.

The fit was great and the dress was very comfortable. The slit and the cut outs on the back made the dress so fun! It is a thicker material which helped during the outdoor portions of the event. I usually have an issue with dresses being too short but this one worked out perfectly. It would probably be on the long side for anyone under 5’6” still cute but more formal I think.

This dress made me feel beautiful. I ordered this one as my backup dress but ended up loving it more than my first choice. I am fairly hippy and the cut across the front was perfect for my body type and made it look slimming. It definitely has a high slit so you need to be careful when you sit down but its feasible. I also normally wear a 4 in clothes but in this wore the 2 so size down for you second size. As a mom of 2 -- I felt pretty darn sexy for the first time in a long time.

I wore this dress to a formal event. I am normally bewteen an 8 and 6 in terms of dress size (always depends on the dress!) but the 6 fit comfortably and I even had some extra room! While the slit does ride up a bit when sitting, it was not enough to make me self conscious and it was easy enough to monitor. I got a lot of compliments and felt incredible!

Halston Heritage is always a great rental! Nice, quality fabric and seams. Sizing and other reviews were spot on, and it did seem there was a bit of give in fabric. Great silhouette and angles across midsection. Simple black dress with dramatic slit makes it a perfect statement piece but may be a *bit* too risky when sitting (slit opens up high on the thigh). I was standing most of the night so there was no stress about that at all but might be an issue if you're going to a formal sit down. Would rent again!

Loved this dress. The slit is sexy so wear some nice heels! The cons were the zipper it was hard to pull up, and also the shoulders were a bit loose but over all it was great fit.

This dress is gorgeous! Sexy side slit, yet perfect for a formal affair. Warning though... while sitting through dinner keep the napkin over you to cover the leg that that side slit exposes. I've rented this dress twice already and will likely rent again! It is perfect!
