I loved this dress and got so many compliments! I usually order a 2 and a 4 but only the 2 was available for me. It was very tight around my ribs which made it a bit uncomfortable; but was totally worth it for how beautiful the dress looked and also allowed me to go braless without fashion tape! However, I recommend sizing up for your back up size. I'm about 5'2 - 5'3 and was able to wear flats with no issues so it's definitely on the shorter side for a full length dress. Overall, this was my favorite RTR experience yet - highly recommend!

This dress was everything I hoped it would be. I wore this to a college formal dance and it was perfect for evening photos as well as dancing. I wanted something that would show some skin while maintaining a classy vibe and this was exactly it. I was worried about slippage while dancing but never had an issue while in action. I felt awesome in this dress and it was one of the most unique in the room.

This dress fit me perfectly. I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. I received SO many compliments. Be sure to buy some roll-on body glue. It's a very deep cut and it will pucker when you bend over.

This is an amazing dress and a great fit but I will say that it takes some bravery. I was aware that it was revealing but I really liked that it was long with long sleeves so I felt it wasn't complete overkill. However, I had people looking somewhat shocked all night. Tons of compliments and tons of raised eyebrows too. It may be because I was at an event in San Diego and not Los Angeles or New York where the very trendy DEEP plunge is seen more regularly. In any case, I certainly felt like the "talk of the town!" :) (On a side note, I would recommend fashion tape and duct tape for girls with larger breasts. I used both!)

I'm 5'3", 135lbs, the regular size was not too long AND I wore flats. I suggest garment tape for the deep V, no unwanted malfunctions!

I was in love with this dress. I'm a bigger girl and have a very large chest (36DD) so these dresses are normally never something I would choose! However, we were attending a breast cancer foundation gala and I wanted something revealing. This dress was amazing. I had random people coming up to me commenting on how fab I looked. I rented two different styles but went with this one. I used duct tape and double sided tape. Yes. Duct tape.

I absolutely loved this dress. I ordered a 6L and an 8L as my backup size, unfortunately the 6L was not available so I had to go with the 8. I think the 6 would have fit better but the 8 worked. I'm 5'7", about 140 and wear a 32B. A few things: As other reviewers have stated, the zipper is near impossible. You're gonna need a friend to help you get into this. You're also definitely going to want to take some boob tape precautions. Some reviewers have stated that the top was snug, but in an 8, for me at least, there was room to spare.

Perfect for the formal Texas wedding in October. I'm still getting compliments on it. Made me feel classy with a bit of sexy!

I rented this for a NYE and absolutely loved it! The material is very thick and there is no slit so it was warm after dancing all night but it looked great!

This was my 1st RTR experience and it was awesome! I rented this dress for a wedding in VT Halloween weekend and I wanted something warm and comfortable. I had several dresses picked out but when I went to make my reservation they had all been reserved (rookie mistake). This dress was one of my top choices but they only had a 4L, no backup size 2 available. I panicked and decided to rent it anyway. The 4L fit perfectly, the 2 would have been too small. A few things.... I'm 5'6" and wore a 2 inch heel. The dress was long but I didn't want to be uncomfortable in a higher heel. When I danced I did have to hold it, but I preferred it long over being too short. It was a bit tight in the shoulders, I kind of always have this issue but the 6 would have been too big. The fabric was lovely and fell beautifully. I am a 34A and the cut/neckline was very flattering for my small bust. I did use fashion tape because it was a bit loose when I sat and bent over. I got so many compliments all night and would absolutely rent this dress again.

Rented this for a Casino Night charity event! Fit great and didn't worry about anything popping out. Very comfortable!

never have i ever worn fashion tape or worn anything without a bra. Shoot! i have nursed two kids and these girls need all the help they can get! the only thing that i used with this dress is a little fashion tape and i hardly needed that! rent this dress asap if you are a girl who wants to look chic, sexy and feel all safe and tucked in! will rent this dress again for sure! xoxo

For the CARA awards this year, I wanted something long and beautiful that accommodated my growing tummy. This gown was perfect. To be fair, at this point I had only gained 10ish lbs. By the end of the night, it felt tight around my ribcage, but it needed to be to keep the dress in place around my chest. I started off with double stick tape, but it quickly came off and the dress still stayed in place. Highly recommend this dress!

It is a true classic and fits really well and true to size. The length was great and the plunging neckline stayed close to my chest so there was no issue with accidentally "giving someone a show" ;)

I rented the 4R and 2L. Both fit well but I ended up wearing the 2L due to it feeling a little more fitted around the chest. I wore a silicone sticky bra from target to get an extra lift and it made me feel so much more confident. I felt beautiful all night long and was receiving compliments left and right. Was an amazing night and I did NOT want to return this dress. Would recommend this dress to anyone and would definitely rent this again!

What a dress! I only had a few days to choose one, so I had to go with the 4 (I sometimes am a 4 but lean towards a 6). It was indeed a little tight on the ribcage. Solution: Clipped the very top in the back, left the zipper open, and wrapped the waist tie all the way around my back then tied it in the front. It gave the dress an extra wow factor. I was the bride's little brother's date so it was OK to feel sexy, but I wasn't too excessive. I took the tip from another reviewer who tied the hanger straps around her neck for extra support. In doing this I did not need fashion tape, but my boobs are pretty far apart from each other. I am 5'3 and about 145 lbs with a lot of weight and size fluctuation. I actually ended up wearing flats with this dress because I acquired a foot injury the day beforehand then was unable to wear heels. I only struggled with it when going upstairs and had to hold it up, but otherwise I didn't have any problems, Overall, this dress has some magic charm to it because a lot of stuff went wrong yet it still worked! (Tied the back, hanger straps, no heels etc). I got a lot of compliments and it was perfect for SF City Hall evening wedding :-)

I wore this dress to a pirate-themed work party. Since it was work, I didn't want to wear a full on pirate costume (although others did!). Adding a little pirate hat and skull and crossbones necklace made this pirate-y without being over the top. I felt very elegant and received compliments all night. It does run a little long - at 5'3 I probably would have been better off in the petite size but it wasn't available.

I received compliments all night!!!! I am in between a 36 D/DD so I would suggest tape if you have larger boobs because I was afraid to sit down all night and have gapping. I'm only 5'5 and the long was perfect. I don't like my feet to show and ended up only able to wear a small heel, so if you're taller this dress probably wouldn't work. Over all I loved this dress and will probably rent it again :)

The dress fit perfectly! The only complaint I had was that I ordered a size 0R and 2R and the 0 was ripped when I got it which kind of sucked but the two fit perfectly and I still had an awesome time in it!

I needed a dress for my daughter's first Birthday Ball with her unit that was elegant, somewhat conservative, covered my extensive collection of tattoos (not the topic I wanted to discuss that evening), but wasn't dowdy. This dress could not have been more perfect. It defines elegance in it's cut, choice of fabric, and design. The weight of the fabric ensures it flows and gravity keeps it in place. With the right undergarments, I literally stepped into this, zipped it up and felt positively regal. I'm a true size 6 and this was a bit snug, which was plus in order to keep my chest where it needed to be and avoid any spilling out. There's a fine line between a touch of sexy and sloppy boobs everywhere with a chest my size but with the right underpinnings, the former is easily achieved. On a side note, order a size up for your secondary if this is your choice. I think an 8 may have been even better but the 6 was fantastic. This was my first experience with RTR and it was a home run. My daughter was proud, my husband was wowed, and I felt comfortable and confident wearing this. Thank you RTR!

Fit true to size, maybe a little small as I usually wear a 6, but the arms were a bit tight. Feels very secure when it fits right. Comfortable but sexy. I even won a best dressed award!

Wore this dress for a military ball and received compliments all night. I was a little worried about the plunging neckline but the sleeves and length made up for that very well. The material is very light and fell well around my shape. I absolutely fell in love with this dress and would definitely rent it again!

The low-cut neckline of this dress was a little scary at first, but once on, this dress fit like a glove and stayed in place all night long! One tip i would say helped a lot, i tied the hanger straps behind my neck to ensure an extra secure neckline that allowed me to dance the night away! I would LOVE (and likely will) rent this dress again, and again!

This was my first experience with renting a gown from RentTheRunway. I was super nervous about getting the dress the day before but it arrived at the time promised which was a huge plus. I ordered both the 4L and the 6L not knowing whether my typical size 4 frame (I'm 5'7" and 138 lbs.) would actually be a size 4 in designer clothing. The 4L fit perfectly. The 6L was a bit too large on top (I'm a 32DDD). I wore 5" heels and the dress fell pretty perfectly in length. I would've loved to have an extra 1/2" in length but my husband disagreed and thought it looked great. The zipper on the 4L was VERY hard to zip up/down around the waist area. I needed my husband's help and a lot of patience to get it on and off without breaking the zipper. Also, the 4L was missing the front thread loop for the fabric wrap so I had to get creative in order to keep the wrap in place while still looking like it was meant to be wrapped that way. I think I did a decent job. I loved the dress and got tons of compliments on it. One guest commented that, other than the bride of course, I was hands down the best dressed woman there. Returning the clothing is super easy. Just toss them back in the bag and drop them off at the nearest UPS store or standalone UPS dropbox. This was a GREAT rental experience and I will absolutely be using RentTheRunway again. Thank you!

The only con was figuring out how to tape the boobs in place but with a deep plunge body suit and a lot of fashion tape , I was able to move freely and dance plenty with no nip slips! I order a petite and it was perfect for the length (I am 5") and wore 3-4" heels . It was gorgeous perfect for black tie optional wedding .

If you have breasts (I'm a 34dd) just tape your self in and go.

Loved this dress. Glamorous feel. I am only 5'3 so I was concerned about the long length; however, I put on 5 inch heels and it worked perfectly. You will definitely need tape for the chest! Because the previous renters mentioned that they wore a smaller size than normal, I ordered the size 4 and size 2. I normally wear a 4/6. The size 2 fit perfectly.

Rented the 8L & 10L and wore the 10. Perfect length with 3 inch heels. Definitely needed fashion tape to keep things in place.

Extremely comfortable fabric. Th belt doesn't lay exactly like you expect but once it is tied, it doesn't matter. Taped the dress and was perfectly secure for the night of dancing. Didn't see busty woman rent before me, so I took the risk and it was still great. Definitely showed off the chest but was fine when taped. The sleeves and skirt flowed perfectly. I am 5' 6.5" and I wore flats (best decision) since you couldn't see my feet. I wish I owned this dress. It's crazy how many compliments I got.

I absolutely loved everything about this dress! It was sexy but done in an elegant and tasteful way. The long sleeves helped to balance out the plunging neckline to keep this look classic! I was worried I wouldn't be able to pull off the low neckline but with a little fashion tape I felt super comfortable and confident! Thank goodness they had this dress in a 4L because, with heels, the dress was just barely touching the floor. The sleeves were a little short but that might be because my arms are abnormally long. LOL! I should also mention that the material falls beautifully as well, it did not get staticky or clingy. Overall, it was perfect for a winter wedding! This was my first RTR experience and they made the process easy in every aspect. I can't wait to rent again and maybe it will even be this dress for a second time!

This dress fit true to size, extremely comfortable and very light weight. I am 5'7 and would order the long next time!

I wore this to a black tie work holiday party and it was perfect. I ordered the size 4 and size 2 since I normally wear a size 4 but I ended up wearing the 2. The dress fit perfectly everywhere except in the chest. I didn't realize how I had no bust whatsoever to hold that part of the dress up. Thank goodness for fashion tape. I was able to wear spanx with this too. The part that ties hit at my rib cage and was perfectly tight for a functional and flattering fit. I'm not sure what body type I am it my butt arms and legs are all on the bigger side, my chest is small, and my waist is small. I'm just over 5'5 and I wore 2 1/2 inch heels and the dress perfectly draped very near theft puns without touching the ground. I really loved this dress.

I was nervous to wear this dress and be exposing it all but nothing a little fashion tape couldn't fix! I actually feel like I am more of a true 6 (or even 8 in the hips/butt area depending on the brand) but the 4L fit perfect on top for my small chest and had plenty of room in the waist, hip, butt area since it's so flowy. I did not feel too exposed - the length and long sleeves helped balance the amount of skin showing. it's hard to zip up on your own and I took the tie out of the loops and wrapped it around the back of the dress and tied it off to the side more like an obi belt vs the tie in the center. I'm 5'6" and the long was perfect for a 2.5/3" heel.

Perfect length, the tips of my shoes peeked out when I walked which kind to be very romantic. I ordered the 4R and 2R for backup, but ended up wearing the 2R. Zipper gets a little tricky at the waistband but otherwise there were no problems. I loved this dress!

The fit was great for the 10 except through the upper torso, i assume due to my chest...?. I had to go up to the 12 and it fit great! I'm normally a size 10, but felt like the 12 fit pretty well.
