This was an incredibly flattering dress - a little bit of give which made it comfortable while be form fitting and the sequins were very fluid. I wore the 4R and it was perfect with 3 inch heels. Highly recommend - I don't think I would have normally picked it and am so glad I did. Was perfect for a black tie event.

This dress fit perfect in all the right places. It wasn't too long and I didn't have to make any adjustments throughout the night. So many compliments and it photographs amazing!

There is a bit of give in the top, especially for size B bust, but it was still quite flattering. I'm 5'1 and was wearing a 3 inch heel. That was about perfect, but still it was a bit long. The slit really helped! You can tell it runs a little long because the bottom of the dress was a bit tattered. The silvery skirt of the dress was beautiful, but it'll definitely show your gut if you have one! So suck it in for photos. The side of the skirt where the zipper was did sort of pucker up, which compromised the silhouette a little. Nevertheless, I got a ton of compliments!

The fit of this dress was perfect. I looked for a dress where I wouldn’t need to purchase special undergarments and this was great. It was completely comfortable the entire evening.

This dress was perfect for the black tie event I was attending! I got several compliments on it, and it fit very well! To be a size "2 Regular," it was very short. But it worked out in my favor, as I'm short, and the "2 Short" was out of stock. It was almost too short with my heels on. Great dress! Highly recommend.

Ok, when the other reviewers said the Regular was short...they were RIGHT! I am 5'6" & 61 years old & wearing 4" heels is not what I want to do. I ordered the 6R & the 4L. The 6R was short, too short for flats & at the bottom of the side zipper was a fabric bulge, not a good place for a bulge! The 4L fortunately fit & no bulge...just long! So I put on my highest heels & put in a 1 1/2" hem & good to go! The skirt part is actually flat silver sequins, very elegant. Comfortable to sit in, eat & dance! I highly recommend this dress, rent it for your special event!

The dress was a little snug in the hip area but otherwise it fit great and was easy to move around in. I have long legs so I’m glad I had the long fit otherwise the regular fit would have been too short.

This was for a winter wedding in Seattle. I have historically gotten dresses that are super lowcut and I have to constantly worry about falling out of and wanted to go the opposite direction. This dress was classy and comfortable and flattering and I loved the lower back cutout that made up for the conservative nature of the rest of the dress. I could even wear a normal bra!!

Rented this for a Christmas symphony. It was formal and flattering, with a slit that edged it up just enough to make me feel pretty.

This dress is form-fitting but still flattering. I didn't get to wear it out because my husband pulled his back right before the event, but I liked it so much I still put it on and took pictures. It has a high slit and is slightly short, so it is ideal for black tie optional events.

This was actually the back up style but I loved it so much I chose it over the original dress I ordered (which was also fabulous). The fit is perfect - it fits like a glove but is very comfortable. There's no need to wear spandex as the dress is made to "keep it all in". The beading on it is exquisite, you really can't tell from the picture how pretty it is. It is perfect for a formal affair or fun cocktail party.

The fit was fine, although small...I'm normally a 6 but the 6 was very tight on my rib cage so opted for the 8 so I could be more comfortable. I didn't really notice much difference between the 6 and 8 in the skirt.

I loved the fit of this dress! It was comfortable for dancing and for wearing the whole night. I did fidget with the top quite a bit because it felt a little more open than I liked, but other than that it was fabulous!

I wore a size 6, it was very firm fitting. But once I got in and zipped I felt very happy about my selection. Nice length with 3 inch heels.

I was worried that there were no petite sizes because I am 5'. However, I read the reviews that many were surprised at how "short" the regular sizes were. So, I rented the 4R and 6R. The 4R was a little tight in the side zipper, so I chose 6R to be more comfortable for dancing. And the other reviews were right! The regular length was perfect for someone petite! I work 4" heels and did not have to worry about the dress dragging on the floor or tripping on my dress.

This dress is absolutely stunning and so comfortable! The pictures of the dress are pretty misleading and the bottom is actually sequins and a liner. I was worried at first about it being uncomfortable or itchy because of that but didn't have any problems. I'm 5'7" and rented a long with 4" heels - perfect length.

The dress fit me like a glove, and I had many compliments. I have longish legs and a short torso. I thought the 2L would be a better fit, but it felt too wide at the hips. The 2R just fit perfectly. I wore 3" open-toe heels, and the dress fell right on the top of my foot. The slit was not too high, and the plunge was appropriate for a family wedding (you could make it go lower). I was able to dance all night with my nieces and nephews.

The dress was perfect for a formal wedding! I ended up wearing the back up size 4L. My usual dress size is a 6 but after reading some of the reviews I ordered a 4L & 6L and the 6L was too long and the top was a little too big. The 4L fit me like a glove. It was very sexy and comfortable. The material has a little give so it was comfortable to sit in. I would definitely use Rent the Runway again - they make it so easy for you!

This was my back up dress and I am so glad I chose it because I absolutely loved it. The fabric has stretch to it making it super comfortable. The top is great as you can wear a regular bra and would most likely work for both small and large chested women. The back has a fun little peep hole as well. I am 5"3 and the regular length was perfect for me. I received so many compliments on this dress. Can't say enough positive things about it.

I ordered this dress for a formal wedding in sizes 0 and 2. I was worried the 0 would be to small, so I tried on the 2 first. It was so short and hit above my ankles!!! I compared the two dresses, and the 2 was at least 3 inches shorter than the 0, even though both were ordered in regular length. The 0 fit like a glove, and was the perfect length. It was an absolutely stunning dress, and perfect for the occasion. I received so many compliments, and felt gorgeous wearing this!

The dress was stunning and really flattering once I put it on. I have a smaller waist and a larger chest, and this dress hit at the smallest point of my torso, and I was able to wear a bra, which is a concern for me. The cutout in the back and slit made the dress just sexy enough, and it was easy to move in. Not nearly as heavy as you would expect. I am a size 6 and 5'4", but after reading reviews I ordered a 6 Long. It was the perfect length with 3" heels, but if you're taller than 5'4" and/or want to wear heels, definitely get the long. Awesome awesome dress, and another woman at the event was wearing the exact same one, so it's definitely popular!

The lining was a little stretched out and was longer than the dress fabric. I'm 5'7" and was glad I got the long!! It was still not long enough to cover my shoes.

Pro: this dress can be worn with a normal bra. I'm very small chested and the material at the top laid nicely and did not seem too loose. With 3" heels, the long length was perfect and it was not heavy at all. Finally, this dress had enough pop to stand out from traditional black gowns and I was the only one wearing it that I saw of 550 people at a gala. I highly recommend this for others with a similar build. Cons: the waist line is very high so it can seem like the tummy is accentuated.

I rented this for a wing ball and it was PERFECT. I am 17 weeks pregnant and even though it was a fitted dress, it stretched right over my bump and I felt elegant & sexy - which is hard to feel while pregnant. It does seem to run short, I got the long (I am 5'7"), wore 1.5-2" heels and I would have preferred it to be a bit longer, but it looked great still. This dress didn't initially stand out to me, but I'm so glad I picked it!!

This dress was phenomenal and made me best dressed- second only to the bride! Great fit for those with a larger bust (I'm a 32DD) and the cutout in the back plus the side slit was the right amount of sexy. It does run SHORT. The 4R fit just fine but was too short so I ended up wearing the 6R.

The dress ran true to size, in my case. I have wide hips and a small waist, which I was worried about, but I actually ended up fitting better in a 4 than a 6, which was unlike what I thought. Though the dress fit me well, it runs very short. I ordered a 6 regular and a 4 long. The 6 regular fell just above my ankles, and the 4 long hit the top of my foot. I am 5'4 and I wore a 3 inch heel. So if you're around my height and plan on wearing heels, definitely get a long size. This dress was stunning and I received compliments on it all night long.

It was like the dress was made just for me. Fit me perfectly in the chest (Got to wear a normal bra. Bonus!), waist and length. I'm around 5'8" and with 3 inch heels this dress was the perfect length. Wore this to a black-tie gala and got a ton of compliments. It was a safe option for a black tie event because it was black but the bottom of the dress added the pop it needed. Some previous reviews stated that the bottom of the dress was very heavy due to the sequins but I didn't think that at all. Perfect dress for the occasion and so beautiful in person.

The dress length (R) was perfect. I am short (5'3") and I never find a floor length dress that I don't have to take up even with heels on. I was shocked when I put on my 3.5 inch heels and they were perfect together. I didn't trip once and the dress didn't drag on the ground at all. The slit on the dress was sexy and made it easy to walk (and dance) in. The top of the dress fit like a glove. The criss-cross design was nice and even nicer because I could wear a real bra with criss-crossed straps and they did not show at all! (Score...for not having to wear a strapless.) The back of the dress even had a little sexy surprise too with a little peek-a-boo of skin showing where the waist meets the bodice. The dress is very slimming. It was tight on me in the waist and hip area; however, I could still sit very comfortably in the car and at dinner. Absolutely perfect! I would totally rent again.
