Pretty much exactly what you'd expect in a slouchy knit sweater! I was concerned about this being too warm (I overheat super easily) but I didn't find it to be that way. I wore it walking around town on a spring evening with a friend and then to eat dinner on the patio at my boyfriend's parents house. The color is beautiful and makes me crave cozy fall weather.

i love this sweater - the color, the weight, the sleeves. but the hanger it came on stretched out the shoulders so they don't lie flat, they have peaks. not a good look. maybe heavy sweaters like this should be sent folded, not hung, like they'd be stored at home. bummed...

This sweater was amazing! Such a Beautiful Merigold color that is so uplifting. The knit feels heavy and high-quality and the balloon sleeves are awesome! I got several compliments and girls asking where I got it. It's warm but not too warm and the length is perfect to wear with high waisted bottoms for petites.

The most wonderful sweet potato soufflé of a sweater. I love it so much. Could not wear this enough, got compliments ever day and didn't want to send back. Although the sleeves are a bit bulky it was cozy and comfortable all day.

Oversized sweater which I loved and I loved the color

Sleeves were long and fun , sweater kept me warm and cozy. Wore it with pants and a dress. Very versatile.

Wanted to buy this sweater it's so soft!

I absolutely loved this sweater. I wore it with high waisted wide legged jeans for shopping and over a hunter green dress with a Peter Pan collar for work (pictured) I cannot stress how warm it is. The sleeves make coats a bit tricky but I ended up not needing one because it did the trick on its own (on a fairly brisk fall NYC day)

Great color and shape. It was a little itchy and shorter than expected.

The pictures do not do this sweater justice. It's a heavy sweater, so works better on a colder day. Would be tough to wear to work if you sit inside at a desk all day as it would probably be too warm. It's a little shorter than I'd like, but manageable. It was quite itchy at first, but not unbearable. Love the color and am keeping it to wear again next weekend when the temperature drops a little more. Would definitely rent this again. One issue with it is the sleeves are so thick, I couldn't get any of my coats over them without squeezing my arms in. So, may be better on a cool fall day where you don't necessarily need a coat also.

Beautiful sweater--I always find Mara Hoffman to run a bit on the small side, so this fit as expected in size L. I'm typically a M or L in Madewell sweaters (my favorite.) This is beautiful though--the sleeves aren't over the top and the body of the sweater isn't too oversized or boxy. Best thing in my bag this time!

Steamed out "hanger shoulders" easily (would prefer just folded instead). A teensy but itchy - but that to be expected. Loved this!

I loved this sweater! Fits true to size. I did not find it overly cropped or long. Very flattering and does not appear bulky on.

Bigger fit, which I prefer. Fit like a sweatshirt (not skin tight) if you will. It made me feel so good about myself every time I put it on. OBSESSED. It was hard to send it back. I wore it to work and for everyday.

My only issue with this sweater is that all of my pants would get lint from the sweater. It is so comfortable, warm, and a great color.

Fit was so large, that it actually took away from the cute arm sleeves!

The sweater had a beautiful rich marigold color. It was cozy to wear and the low balloon sleeves were flattering. My biggest con about this sweater was the amount of pilling and shedding that occurred. I found it very frustrating the amount of pilling on the inside and outside of the sweater and shedding the occurred when I wore it (4 times).

This sweater was huge on me. The sleeves were so big and heavy that I felt like I was wearing bags of wet sand around my forearms. I love the color and texture, but this was just too big and bulky for me. Didn't wear it once.

Comfortable & flattering

It is surprising that I don't have a picture in this sweater bc I wore this nearly every other day for three weeks. I LOVED this sweater. The bell sleeves don't comfortably in jackets, but the sweater was warm and worked for me in moderate winter San Francisco.

The sleeves are super on trend and the color is the perfect fall color. I did size up and get a M which fit fine but I think the S would have been fine too. M gives a more oversized cozy sweater look and S would have fit a little more true to size. Had to wear a tank underneath cuz it’s a tad itchy but otherwise definitely recommend!

Loved this sweater and got a lot of compliments on it. Fit is super cute and the sleeves have nice detailing. Quality is tops and yarn is so soft. Paired it with high waisted jeans and white sneakers for a casual weekday/weekend look.

Loved this sweater. Heavy fabric, good golden color, warm. I didn't have an issue with the extra fabric fitting into my coat sleeves, but I can see how this can be annoying or not possible since there is a large rounded bell sleeve.

Very thick and warm

I wore this at least a dozen times. The designer Mara Hoffman said to wear it as much as possible before washing it, so I'd like to think I was just following orders but the truth is it was so incredibly comfortable, soft, plush, and warm. I returned it reluctantly after keeping it for almost 2 months. I miss it already.

I love this cozy, thick Mara Hoffman sweater. The color was a tad darker than expected (somewhere between marigold and burnt orange), but it's a lovely fall/winter color. The puff sleeves can be a tough fit under certain coat/jacket arms, so just something to think about before renting for the winter!

I am normally a small in sweaters but got a medium to avoid a cropped look. This sweater was so cozy and versatile. I would warn though to not rent this if you intend to wear with a coat. The sleeves are bell and thick and it's terribly uncomfortable to try to wear under a coat.

Love the dramatic sleeves and saturated color!

The color is gorgeous and the thick yarn knit is stylish, warm, but breathable. The puffy sleeves make it feel like the sweater is giving you a hug. Looks good staying in with a glass of wine, a walk in the park or out to dinner. It's a keeper.

I wish I had the opportunity to really get use out of this, but I got sick. This knit is everything you want this season. Mustard is the new black, right? Pair with forest green accessories and white booties

Great sweater with a pair of jeans and boots! Warm and perfect for the fall/winter months.

This sweater was very comfortable, hit at the right length. The sleeve shape added some style to an otherwise relaxed outfit. Paired it with the See by Chloe patchwork jeans, great combo! Only downside was that it shed a lot, there are mustard yellow wisps all over me now.

This was cute but a little shorter at the waist than I expected. I'm 5'2.
