This was my first RTR experience and I couldn't have been happier with the dress choice. If you are taller than 5' 6" you will definitely need the extra length. I ordered a 6L and 8L based on reviews and comments regarding sizing and the straps. While the 6L fit me like a glove, the dress was too short so I opted for the 8L. Fit of the dress was fine, and I was able to fix any loosen in the straps with a few pieces of fashion tape. I have broader shoulders so for a more petite frame I can see how the straps may be an issue. The dress is a beautiful color, high quality material, flattering shape and very comfortable. I wore ~3" heels with the dress and found it to be the perfect length. I would highly recommend this dress for a formal late fall/winter wedding!

I can only speak positives about this dress! I felt stunning wearing it, and totally felt comfortable (except for my shoes!) The dress hugs your body just right, and the V-neck plunge is very tasteful, I wore it to a Military event. I did not wear a bra or even petals under the dress, it was tight enough at the chest for support, and thick enough in case I got a little cold/chilly. The dress is perfectly slimming, and the color is timeless especially in the fall/winter. I would love to rent this dress again, and would also love to see it in other colors! The length was perfect as well, my heels are ~2in" only and you were able to see the color of my shoes and my toes.

Elegant, sexy, and timeless! 5'8" wore 4.5in heels, usually a 6/8 depending on the fit. I'm curvier on bottom.

The dress is great to wear to a fall wedding. It fits great and will show off your curves while still appropriate. Length is great - I am 5'3 and was fine in heels.

Great dress for a very formal dinner I had with my husband. Tons of compliments. Thick material on dress. I loved the color. I would say the only down side to the entire dress is that the back zipper can zip down at any times. There is no latch to keep the back of the dress closed. I was constantly worried all night about it. Other than that issue it was a great dress!

This dress was absolutely gorgeous and fit really well. I received lots of compliments all night. It was lovely thick material, but I was shocked to find the dress was not floor length when I opened the package, even with ordering a 6 long. Instead it was a midi length that stopped halfway down my calves. The dress was also noticeably worn, mainly around the bodice and hem. I would love to wear this dress again, but would hope to get an accurate depiction from the pictures.

I am 5'8", about 150lbs and a 32DDD. I wore the 6L and found that it barely touched the floor when standing barefoot. I was ok with that, but if you are planning to wear very high heels, you should be aware of this. The straps were a little long and kept falling down so I utilized several strips of fashion tape and it fixed the problem. This was worn to a black tie wedding. I received a lot of compliments on the dress and would definitely rent this again.

Overall the dress was perfect for a fall wedding. The material is very thick and a great quality. The size 4 was super snug on my hips and loose on top. I just used fashion tape and it help the straps for most of the night. The 6 fit better in the hips but way too big up top to wear. Length was just right and I wore about 4/5 inch heels. The open back was flawless and there was no need for a bra since the material was so thick. Would highly recommend this dress!!!

This is a beautiful dress, however it does have it's flaws. I needed to tape the dress to my bra and pin it in over 10 places. Be sure to have a matching bra color when wearing it! This dress also ran slightly small... I usually wear a size 0 and ending up choosing a size 2. It is also more of a maroon color, rather then plum. In the end, it was a stunning dress!

I was a little disappointed with this dress. I ordered a long but it still only came to my ankles. I did really like the fabric and the fit on the top. It was very flattering on top and I didn't even have to wear a bra. I would recommend it to someone who is shorter as it was very short on me.

This was the first RTR product I ordered and had to send back. I am 5'2 and standing flat on my feet, only came to my ankles- so with heels it looked very awkward! It was not very flattering on for a curved figure. RTR was very accommodating however and overnighted me a gorgeous second option!

I would not have worn this dress had I brought a back up to the hotel with me. It was my only option, so I was forced to make do. My own fault, but it was so bad I considered running to Target for literally anything else. There was no hook for the zipper in the back, and the zipper slid down at least an inch without one. I had to jimmy-rig my own fix with some cleverly-hidden safety pins. The top was completely stretched out and gaping at weird places. I did what I could with practically a whole roll of fashion tape, but it barely stuck to the thick fabric. I stood in a very particular position for all photos and was extra cautious while dancing. The dress was short as well- shocking to me. At 5'4", most dresses allow me at least a small heel. This dress looked too short when I was barefoot. Overall, very bizarre fit, and I would never rent again.

Writing this review over two years later.....Super chic, flattering dress with thick fabric to squeeze you in all of the right places. I received lots of compliments which was nice considering the difficulties I had with RTR to get a dress. RTR eventually pulled it off but it was a MESS...hence why I took a couple years break from using RTR. I think they have worked out those kinks by now and I would definitely wear this dress again.

Received SO many compliments! I ordered the 0 and the 2 for backup. The 2 fit better in the hip / thigh area, but the straps were too long up top so I definitely would have been falling out all night. I went with the 0 because I would rather deal with a little snugness around the booty and better fit up top! It was long on me, I wore 3 inch heels and I probably could have worn 6 inch heels and it would have been a good length.

Loved the fit of the dress very stretchy and tight in all the right places ! Perfect length for my short legs . Bust area too big for my c cups

Loved this dress and was so cozy in it. It's thicker but has a good stretch to it. However, the stretch didn't have an impact to the point of having it be baggy by the end of the night. The only reason I'd give this a 4/5 stars is that for my height, the dress was still a bit short and was about 4 inches from the ground, which felt a bit awkward. Not a huge deal in my book but for anyone who's looking for a dress that does actually touch the floor, I'd consider what size is best.

The material of this dress is stretchy and so it adjusts to your body type. The bust area fit comfortably, while the waist/hip area was a little tighter (but the dress still zipped up and was not uncomfortable). I had ordered this dress for a black tie wedding and decided not to wear it as it felt a little too revealing for the event. Cleavage is a major part of this dress and unfortunately the straps of the dress fit me a bit large so they kept falling to either side of my shoulders. NOTE: the zipper in the waist/hip area does not have a small clasp to hook once you zip up the dress. It would be a good idea to include one as otherwise the zipper starts sliding down.

I loved this dress however I did have some fit issues. The 4 was too snug and the 6 was a little big in the top area which caused some concern with the straps. Overall, it was a great dress and I loved wearing it! The color is beautiful.

I loved this dress when I put it on! It was very pretty color and would have looked very fitting on. With that being said, the straps to this dress were to big for me and kept falling down. I have 34C boobs so I didn't think this would had been a probably, but it was. So I wasn't able to wear this dress to the event. Very pretty but weird sizing.

The color of the dress is very rich. Fabric is thick and has a little bit of stretch so at the right size, I would guess it actually works well to hold everything in place. Unfortunately it runs small and the way the dress is constructed with 2 little zippers it was difficult to get on/off. Rented as part of my unlimited, but had to return and quickly order other options for a black tie wedding. Length would have been fine with heels (I'm 5'4")

The upper area was tight on me and made the back pucker (back fat); so I returned it hoping to request the 6R size. I do feel this runs true to size as I am between the 4R and 6R size on most dress options. The material was very thick and felt very high quality.

I didn't end up wearing it. It was too big. I got a size 6 and I'm normally a size 4 and the length is so awkward.

The dress was a nice material, and the 6R fit my body well, other than the fact that it was WAY too short. I consider myself a fairly average height- I'm 5'6, but the dress went just above my ankles. I ended up not wearing it because it was too short for me to even wear flats, unfortunately.

I read in the reviews that the dress was on the short side but since I was hoping to wear flats, I thought it would be okay. When it arrived, it only went down to my ankles! I'm 5'6'' so I'm usually fine wearing heels with regular length gowns. I didn't wear it because you could see my entire foot, which is not what I wanted for the event I was going to. The straps were also a little loose like the other reviews said, but not so loose that it couldn't have been fixed with some fashion tape.

I guess it ran TTS, because I am typically a 2-4 but I thought I needed to size up based on the other reviews. I am a 34D but the top was HUUUUGE!! Big all around. I think I would have needed a 2 if I were to wear. Really nice, thick material though, would be great for winter event!

Dress was too thick for my liking. I ordered the long and it was still too short. The thickness made it look boxy. Would be great if you were going some place freezing!!

I loved the color and the material it's thick and stretchy. The 4 was very tight on my hips and once it zipped made my back looked horrible. The 6 fit perfect but the straps were impossible to keep up. They fell off if I wasn't standing perfectly straight. I couldn't tape them on to me or do anything. The dress was also a lot more low cut cleavage than it looks in the pictures. I didn't get to return it the day after and had to run out to buy a totally new dress. If the straps weren't so off the shoulder and loose the 6 would have been perfect
