This dress was incredibly flattering! The material is fantastic. It's thick and very high quality. While the dress has some stretch, I would recommend ordering your normal size. The shoulder ruffles aren't overwhelming and give it a feminine feel, in addition to the double tiered skirt. Got a lot of compliments!

I can see how it would be definitely shorter on someone taller. Will definitely rent again. Dress is great for any event where it might be cold.

Wore it to an evening wedding in LA. The shoulder detail and leather piping made it so special. The material was the perfect stretch for comfort and contour. I paired it with a black leather jacket when it cooled down later in the evening. Created a different and equally amazing look. Rent this one, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely loved this dress! It has a sweater-like consistency that made it exceptionally warm in cool New Mexico! If I could find this in stores I would absolutely purchase it to keep for good. Dress is true to size and very well made.

Absolutely LOVED this dress! Would rent a million times over. Fit so well, was comfortable and flattering without seeming too over the top. Just enough edge. It is a little on the shorter side so wouldn't recommend with super tall heels if you are taller. The material is fabulous and feels expensive. Can not give this dress enough stars!

Fit likes a glove. The material is thick but has stretch. I wear a 2-4 and the Small fit me perfect. I'm only 5'2 and the length was fine but could see it being too short for taller women. Wore for a wore meeting with the Kate Spade tweed black jacket and it was posh but professional. Will definitely rent again.

Wore this dress for a daytime work event as well as a panel talk that I was part of. A really great professional dress, although it might be a bit on the short side for more conservative workplaces. I received many compliments on it from other women. Nice medium weight fabric for the fall, and as a bonus, I found that the material made it so that the bell sleeves could easily be turned inside out for eating and other activities.

I have a very large chest. The XL which says 14-16 was more like a 12-14 and unfortunately, I couldn't wear this. I felt like I was in a sausage casing! I love this other label's dresses and this dress is soooo pretty in person, but I just wasn't comfortable. Would definitely try this again if I dropped 15 lbs.

RTR does a disservice by not including a size chart related on the item description of each piece. This was unfortunately a wasted rental for me since it did not fit. However, the structure of the dress was lovely, and it seemed like it would have been very warm and a great choice on a cold day. The XL was shown as a 14-16, but I think labeling it as a 12-14 would have been more accurate. I tend to carry most of my weight in my waist, so perhaps that added to why the dress did not fit. I would be happy to rent this dress again when I drop a dress size.
