This was a great dress for a winter-time black tie event. I originally had rented a different dress from RTR for my event, but when I went to pick it up in the Washington DC RTR store, the original dress I had wanted was damaged. Luckily one of the employees in the store (Tiara) was the most helpful and supportive human being on the planet and she brought me about 10 additional options to try on. This dress was a stunner! As soon as I tried it on I knew I wanted to wear it. Normally I would NEVER even think about wearing a back-less dress (as I have D cups), but this one offers a bit of support in the front due to the thick faric, and I wore a nu-bra to cover as well. Overall amazing dress- would recommend it for anyone from A cups to D cups. The rouching in the middle section really hides imperfections as well. I was super comfortable all night, and the backless element provides for some great drama. The length was perfect - I am 5'5" and I wore 3 inch heels. Oh also, the color is STUNNING. 5 stars.

This dress is drop dead gorgeous. It is also comfortable, elegant and very well made. The fabric is thick but does have a bit of a stretch to it.

Loved this style! The color is bright and eye-catching, and the open back is perfect if you want to make a statement! The fit is true to size but I would recommend fashion tape to secure the back of the dress. Also, you'll need an adhesive bra or subtle concealers for the bust area to avoid showing any straps. I recommend smooth undergarments as any design or fabric will show as a texture through the dress.

At my height of 5'2", the dress was pretty long. It took a pair of very high heels to make it work. I'm typically a size 0, 0P or 2P, depending on the designer, and other than the length issue this dress fit perfect. Very comfortable, easy to move in, and because it was well made with a thicker fabric, it kept me warm. I needed a dress that made me look professional (my boss was at this event) yet still showed off a sense of personal style, and this dress was the perfect blend of what I needed for the night. This was my first experience with RTR. I will not only recommend this to everyone looking for a smart, cost-effective way of finding that perfect dress at a price that makes sense, but I also cannot wait to rent again.

I normally wear a size 0 but am expecting (4.5 months pregnant and about 118 lbs.) and this dress was a perfect fit in a size 2 with 3.5" high heels. It has plenty of stretch/give in the stomach area and the ruching is very flattering-- I got lots of compliments!

RTR sent me this dress and another as a substitute when my chosen rental was unavailable on my ship date. This is gorgeous, but a bit too plain in the front. I was concerned about the deep V back, which did not fit properly on my shoulders due to the sleeves being pretty snug with barely any give. The dress body fit perfectly, I found the sleeves too tight. Had I sized up for the sleeves, the rest of the dress would have been too large. Fabric is beautiful and the color as well. I chose the other dress RTR selected for me.

When I opened up the box, I was so excited to see the dress because it was SUCH a gorgeous blue. I couldn't wait to put it on and opened it up immediately. The bottom half fit fine, but then my arms wouldn't fit in the long sleeves! There isn't a lot of stretch to the fabric unfortunately, so I can't recommend this dress for anyone with bulging biceps (which I possess apparently)!

I went to the store in Washington, DC and tried the dress on before I ordered it. The dress fit like a glove and I was very happy with it. I got the dress the day of the event and did not bother to try it on again, 30 minutes before I was leaving the house I put the dress on and the person who wore it before me had shorten the sleeves and the length but not the hem which was hanging down to the floor. The dress is pretty plain so the fit was the most important thing, I was mortified. I still wore it because I had no other options and had to pin the hem up and wear bracelets to hide the shorter sleeves. The staff at Rent the Runway was very understanding and did not charge me for the dress.

The back of this dress is gorgeous and the color is beautiful. Sadly though this dress has a really strange fit so I ended up not wearing it. The arms were super tight, the chest was baggy, and so the low back made it do this weird bunching thing above the boobs. I'm small chested but I don't know that this would work any better on someone with a larger chest either.

The stylists sent me this dress along with my first choice because I was concerned about the fit of my first choice. I am 5' 10" and have a lean figure, but sometimes strapless dresses don't work for me because I have a small bust, so the bust to length ratio is a problem. I have been to many black tie affairs, and I felt like a superstar in this dress. It fit perfectly, made me look amazing, and the backless feature added an extra dimension to an already perfect dress. I wish I could wear it more. It was comfortable, figure flattering, and amazing!
