Great dress! Super comfy. Got tons of compliments!!

I loved this dress. It was perfect for my 30th birthday party. It has a great silhouette and is incredibly comfortable w/out sacrificing on style. I wore this with black Kate Spade chandelier earrings also from RTR and it was a perfect outfit.

I wore this dress to a surprise party at a nightclub for my boyfriends birthday- it was a huge hit! My boyfriend loved the dress and so did I-- the dress was sexy but definitely not risque (in the not good sense). I'm extremely tall and it didn't feel too revealing or short. Overall I absolutely loved this dress and will be renting it again in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Dress is really versatile - the style and pattern are appropriate for different seasons and occasions. A bonus is that many different colors of accessories can work with it -- black, nude, metallics, etc. Top can be a little tight, so consider sizing up for your back up size. I am usually a 0 and could have worn either the 0 or 2, although the latter was a little big in the waist and hips.

I wore this to a semi-formal gala and it was perfect for the occasion. It was a simple dress but paired with a nice pair of shoes and some jewelery and it really came alive. I have an hour glass shape so I was worried at first about the fit. The dress fit great in every area except the chest. If you have a larger chest the dress might be a little snug. But overall I thought it was a great dress.

Although this dress doesn't have that huge WOW factor like some of the others on RTR, it's perfect for a party or an event where you need a more subdued look (I wore this to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in). You can really dress it up with jewelry and it looks great paired with pointed toe heels! I am petite and pear shaped and this dress was quite flattering and the length was good. This dress fit great and it was super comfortable! I was not fixing it all night or worried if I had the right type of undergarments. Just a strapless bra and you're everyday undies and you are good to go. The only con is that this is probably not your dress if you are planning on being the center of attention all night (i.e. if you are a bride or it's your birthday and you want to be noticed). In that case I'd pick something else on RTR with some bling or something a little more unique. Overall it's a fabulous little number if you want to look polished, cute, AND comfy!

I had been wanting to rent this dress for some time now and I finally rented it for a summer wedding. It was so comfortable and fit great! I rented the 2 and the 4 and wore the 2. The 4 seemed a little too roomy in the bust. It was very light which I was thankful for since it was 90 degrees. Some of the other reviews said the dark strip cuts your mid-section in a weird way but I didn't feel that at all.

This was actually an overnight option that was sent to me because the first two dresses I ordered were too small. I was nervous about the 8 but it fit well and I was comfortable all night. The black waist band did make me look a little "wider" than what I am used to seeing on myself but I received a lot of compliments the whole night. Emily @ RTR really saved the day though and I'm SO pleased with the customer service. I'll definitely be using RTR for an upcoming Bachelorette trip to Vegas in the summer!!

I loved this dress online and on the hanger but on me... eh. I have a small chest and my waist isn't very defined, and this dress just emphasized that. I ended up looking very block-ish.

I rented this dress for a May wedding. I rented the 2 and the 4 and went with the 2. The 4 was a a bit loose around the top and I had to keep pulling up the strapless side to keep it from slipping down. If you're larger in the chest area then you shouldn't have this problem. I also paired it with a white blazer. Super cute!

It was a very easy and fun dress to wear. It fits true to size--maybe a little large in the top. I got lots of compliments and had a great time in this dress. I wore it to a formal wedding. Really great dress!

Very pretty dress and very well made. The fit was perfect for me but I have a larger rib cage and wider shoulders than most girls so I can see how it could run a little large. The length was great for a classier event and hit above the knee.

I ordered this in a size zero and size 2 and needed to wear the 2 because it was a little tight on the waist. I wore my hair up and the dress was a success! Great for dancing!

I wore this dress to a wedding and ordered a size 2 and a size 4. Normally I wear a 0 or a 2 but I'm now 4 months pregnant. I ended up wearing the size 2 because the shoulder strap was too long on the 4. This dress worked out great with my growing belly as it was flowy on the bottom. If you want some room to eat, this is the dress for you! The material was beautiful and the print was even prettier in person. I would definitely rent this one again.

I liked this dress. It wasn't my absolute favorite rental, but the pattern was really interesting. It is a very light fabric -- great for a summer wedding. The waist runs a little crooked, not sure why. But it's subtle. Wore this to a wedding and was able to dance the night away!

I rented this for a wedding in both a 2 and a 4. It definitely runs a little bigger than normal since the 4 was way too baggy and loose and I had to wear the 2. It's true what the other reviewers said -- the waist does not fit very snug and so the black band isn't exactly horizontal all the time. I thought about putting a belt over this part, but then I figured it would be too hard to keep the belt in place too. But I loved the pattern and this is great alternative to just a little black dress or a simple black & white dress.

I wore this dress to a work awards dinner and received many compliments all night long. The fabric and pattern are fabulous. I do agree with one of the reviewers below that the dress has a short torso so it did make me a bit wider than I am, but it was nothing a belt and a good pair of spanx couldn't fix.

I rented this dress for a friend's rehearsal dinner, as I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. I normally wear an 8, so sized up to a 10 for my backup size. That was a mistake. I have an hourglass figure and the skirt would have fit in any size, but I really needed the 6 because the bust area was a little large on me (34C bra size). The 8 was only a little big on top, so with pictures I just had to keep my shoulders up so the one shoulder wouldn't fall down. The dress looked great and I got a TON of compliments. There was a static issue but nothing you cant fix with hairspray, static spray, or a wet cloth.

A really pretty dress, however a word of caution. If you're wearing this in static season (fall/winter) I suggest bringing along some static cling spray. Every time I stood up or used the restroom I had to peel it off my legs and make sure it wasn't riding up and flashing the world. I also sized up, which was a mistake. It nearly fit, but even with a larger bust I didn't need to size up. I had to tape the side without the strap up to keep from it from slipping too far down. My usual size would have been fine!

I wore this dress to a Cape Cod wedding in late October and loved it! I think I'm usually between a 6 and an 8, and the 6 fit well (by the end of the night, I was dancing so much that it was almost getting loose). The dress looks very similar to how it's pictured, but there was a bit of a static issue (nothing a bit of hairspray won't fix). I'd definitely recommend this dress. It's a sure bet.

I couldn't even zip up the zipper. I'm a size 32DD. If you're larger chested, consider sizing up 2 sizes instead of 1!

I ordered this as my first choice dress for NYE. It is a truly beautifully made dress. But when I put it on, I found that it made me look really wide. The band hits a little too high for it to be flattering. It also made my chest look weird. I ended up going with my backup dress instead!
