I am very short waisted so there was some room in the shoulders, but nothing a couple of shoulder pads couldn't fix. With the excess in the bodice there was a small hicup in the fabric right above the slit but it was noticeable when moving. The sleeves were a little long but I was easily able to tuck it up under itself and it wasn't a problem the whole night. I wore a 4 in heel and the hem was just perfect. Overall for a girl who always needs tailoring on any garment, I was easily able to make this dress work. I loved this dress and received so many compliments

Running true to size overall we do recommend sizing up for backup if you're bustier and down if you're smaller framed. The top and shoulder area has room and some stretch. Although the waist and hips are fitted the jersey material allows for an easy fit. Be mindful of the sheer inset as you will need to go bra-less or wear petals with this gown. The slit is a perfect touch and hits at about mid-thigh. Pair with delicate heels and earrings.

I wore this dress out for dinner at a nice restaurant in DC. It's slimming, stunning and sexy. I tried wearing a sticky bra but you could still see part of it so I went without one and it was fine. It was also a bit cold outside but the fabric isn't very breathable so it kept me warm. I'm also a bit taller so the length was a little odd with heels.
