Absolutely loved this dress! I am not a black dress person so this rich blue is perfect for me... And it fit like a glove. As others noted it is pretty hard to get the zipper up but once on it was very comfortable and has good stretch. There was no way I could wear the 4 ... The 4 would've fit better in the bust area which would've been good - but the 6 was for meI am smaller in the bust then in the hips. Would rent but we do RTR so we don't have to wear the same dress twice don't we??

Dress fit so well! The dress is not in formal dress sizes (I am typically an 8 in most formal dresses and a 4 or 6 in normal clothing). Potentially could have used the 4, but this fit so well, no extra material, stayed off the shoulder without needing to pull up, shifted with me... just great!

This dress was exactly what I was looking for! Heavy fabric, skims the body and really lovely off-the-shoulder look. I danced all night and never had a problem with the shoulders. Definitely invest in a strapless bra and quality shapewear!

Unfortunately, I was unable to wear due to a family issue pulling me away from the work party. I did want to write a review on this. I was very apprehensive to wear a dress with these sleeves thought they would slide. But I ended up loving the shape, fit, and the liner was so smooth. I hope to rent again and actually wear out ! I know it would be a compliment getter!

The fit was spot on, I am usually an 8 and it fit all the right curves. The off the shoulder sleeves didn't bother me too much dancing and the length came below the knees about an inch or two -- I am 5'2". It was great as a wedding guest for an outdoor fall wedding. Highly recommend.

Really great quality material! It was longer than I thought it'd be, so very formal and conservative (doesn't show breasts or too much leg). I usually always wear size 4 so this fit perfect. Wish I could wear it again!

Ordered it for a gala, but ended up wearing another dress for that event and this one for pictures (where I could hide the chip clips down my back!). I could pull it up/down without unzipping so I probably need a 2, at which point I'm not sure how the bottom would fit. The legs, butt were ok but top was massive so those that have more going on up top may find it more true to size.

I got so many compliments on this dress. It was almost worth having my arms so restricted all night. Fits great although there is this odd bulge where the zipper ends on your butt. The fabric is pretty stretchy so I just kept adjusting it. Overall gorgeous but don’t plan on being able to drive, touch your hair or lift your arms up very high. This was my back up dress so I made it work.

Beautiful dress , classic style bit fit is very hard to achieve perfection. The off the shoulder design did not stay up and the back was baggy. I wore it only because my other choices didn't work at all.

The quality of the material made it feel luxurious, and the fit was perfect. There's a slip underneath that was a bit cumbersome, but honestly it was the perfect dress. It hurt to send it back--wish I could've kept it. The fit is snug but its supposed to be.

This is my second time renting this dress. I didn't actually wear it the second time (got it as a backup since I already knew I'd love it) and this photo is from the first time I wore it a few months ago. It's a size 8 and fit perfectly. I'm usually an 8-10 so I'd say runs slightly large. The material is thick and makes you feel held in. The neckline is beautiful and stays put. Perfect length on a taller girl. One of my favorite rentals!

I wore this to a black tie optional fund raiser. It fit perfectly and is true to size. The navy color is great and I wore it with gold heels. I got lots of compliments, it is very flattering! Sorry the lighting is off in the picture!

I rented the size 12 for a rehearsal dinner. It was a little too large in the busy area so I rented a 10 just to try. The 10 fit perfect! I hated to send this one back!

The fit was perfect as a 12. I normally wear a 12 So was happy it fit so well. No cons. I have to give credit to my stylist-Jenna RTR. She did everything possible when the 1st dress shipped didn't work for me.

Perfect for the black tie optional wedding. Many compliments! I sized up from my usual 4 to 6 and fit perfectly.

I thought the dress was cut a little large, that said the top was a little big around the bust area. I would recommend getting your size and using rent the runways backup size to get a size down as well. Ultimately this dress was so comfortable and I was not pulling it up all night or adjusting it.

The only con is the restrictive arms, but if you have someone to help put on your shoes (and you don't care about dancing to Shout or YMCA with proper form), I highly recommend.

Loved this dress! The fabric was a gorgeous soft and stretchy cotton blend, and it fit almost perfect! The back bunched up a bit over my butt, but that is just because I am short. It was the perfect off the shoulder fit, and it stayed in place unlike so many others. Wish I had another excuse to wear it again!

This dress was perfect. Hit right below the knees, medium weight fabric. The off the shoulder detail was just enough sexy while still being elegant. As the night wore on, I did wish I went with the 4 as opposed to the 6 as the top ended up being a little loose (but that was my fault for not doing a better job trying on the 4 and comparing...). Great experience and got TONS of compliments.

The fit was perfect! I wore this for an awards gala for work and got lots of compliments. The dress didn't slide down in the top or shimmy up on the bottom. I didn't spend time adjusting all night it just stayed put. Will definitely rent again maybe even buy this one.

Two of my very best friends had a city hall ceremony with a dinner & drinks reception in the winter on the East Coast. This dress fit like a glove in a size small than I usually wear, which I ordered thanks to previous reviewers (y'all are the best!). I did not feel restricted at all by the off the shoulder sleeve placement. The color was a beautiful true navy and the detail of the lace at the hem was lovely. The dress was of great quality with enough stretch to make my unofficial bridesmaid duties doable, but it still felt supportive and like I was "held in." My stomach is my problem area, so I wore Spanx for my own comfort, but they aren't necessary with this material and level of supportive stretch. I also loved the length which I felt was very flattering. I wore a strapless bra since I'm bigger busted and it was cold out haha! But it wouldn't be necessary for everyone I don't think. I've shared photos that were taken with and without flash so you can see detail and more accurate color.

Fabric was great. Thick enough to cover any lumps and bumps but also very stretchy so you could move easily. This dress was so flattering and hugged my body in all the right places. I got compliments on this dress all night long and my husband liked it so much he wanted me to buy it. I was worried the 4 would be too small for me but at 5ft 6, 132lbs and athletic build it fit like a glove. I would rent this dress again.

I've never been disappointed in a Trina Turk dress and this one was no different. I got so many compliments! I typically wear an 8 but ordered the 10 since I am 5 months pregnant. It was thick and fit my curvy figure perfectly and loved how it showed off my bump!

Seriously fell in love with this dress. It's such a nice fabric and color and it's ridiculously comfortable. Never had a problem with the shoulders or top slipping down, though I did occasionally feel like a t-rex when I needed to reach across the table for something. Still, I'd definitely recommend renting this for any special occasion.
