Wore this for dinner the night of my book launch and to be on a TV show. It looks great in pics and even better in person. I love this dress so much I might have to buy it at some point!

I've rented it in a M and L...I prefer the M even though one of the buttons is super tight lol.

Wore to a golf tournament and it was perfect. Material is an elevated, upscale seer sucker. The skirt is a LOT, but I embraced it

My friends said it looked like little Bo peep, then I put it on. This dress is a vibe. It’s chic, casual, and such a statement. Loved! 

First Impressions: loved! Definitely gave off Cinderellas sister vibes when you see the back once it’s on. (I didnt get a photo.) Has extra material that gathers as you would a wedding dress when you bustle it.

+/-: t; it does fit on the smaller side, so if you have a larger bust or rib cage, go up 1-2x…there is zero give!

This dress is gorgeous! I wore it several times and even kept it for a few of my shipments. The material is heavy but great quality. It fit so well. The color is gorgeous and great for a summer event. 

Received so many compliments, the poofiness is not overwhelming at all, so cute. At 5’11 this dress is a little short, totally fine for a party, but wouldn’t want to be around family, and had to be careful when bending in any way

Perfect for a eurosummer. Saw to size up and I definitely recommend. The buttons take a bit to button all the way and it definitely runs small

Beautiful dress, fits great, however size up for bigger bust size. It does do a little weird flare from the back, but overall great. I would recommend renting it!

Little tight for larger than average breast. But nothing some safety pins couldn't fix. The color is a beautiful butter and not too bright or cheap/ it's truly the perfect dress. Wore it to brunch.

This dress was the cutest dress I've rented. At the 
same time the trickiest to iron and get comfortable in. First it ran small in the chest - I'm a 34DDD and I barely closed the 2nd button. I recommend ironing the petticoat as it will help the dress lay prettier vs frumpy. Lastly get comfortable with the hump in the back by your butt... it's by design. This picture was taken at the end of the night after dancing for hours. Non-stop compliments. 

Great for a derby party. Fabric makes it look even more luxurious.

Wore this to a garden themed wedding shower and it was perfect. The back has a small bustle that makes the dress super unique 

This dress was adorable and perfect in every way. I LOVED it. True to size, not too short. Cute and classy. 

Slightly tight in the bust and the skirt was super poofy but somehow it worked! Very cute and comfy dress.

Tight in the chest - I had to wear a sports bra to button it. Bigger chested ladies maybe size up! 

The yellow is soft and flattering, and the white bands cinch you in at all the right places. The skirt has the perfect amount of volume , flirty, feminine, and so easy to move in. I wore it for a daytime event and received nonstop compliments. Lightweight, comfortable, and beautifully tailored.

I was a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews on this dress, but I actually really liked it. The dress and bodies or what I love about rent the runway which is this was so fun to wear for one night but I was glad to give it back because it’s such a statement piece and out of my comfort zone. Would consider renting again maybe for a derby event?? But so cute!

This dress was a hit! It pained me to send it back. I wore this to a rehearsal dinner and love the color and uniqueness of it.

I wore this yellow and white dress to a festive brunch and got so many compliments! It’s beautifully structured and classic, perfect for a daytime event with a touch of flair. It fit snug in the chest, which worked great for me, but something to note if you're fuller on top. Highly recommend for a stylish and fun occasion!


Rubs small usually a medium and ordered a large - so flattering the puff in the back that some complained about was not too much at all it made my waist look tiny !  

Reminded me of Jane from Disney’s Tarzan movie. Might order again for dapper day at Animal Kingdom as a Disney bound. Very poofy turn of the century style in the back.

I wore it for a baby shower - color was perfect, the back is cinched at the waist line.. bottom skirt flares out a bit in the back.. I thought it may have flared too much, but everyone seemed to love it. Buttons up to neckline.

No stretch. Like most Alexis clothes runs a bit small. If in between sizes I’d recommend to size up

Size up especially if you are a b to c cup or larger.  The dress is gorgeous please don’t hesitate to rent! 

Based on the other reviews saying it runs a little small, I sized up. Wrong decision!!! It was pretty big on me. That said it was still a cute birthday dress I wore it in NYC and got lots of compliments.

I did not end up wearing this piece even though I was super excited about it.  Like other reviews, there is no stretch to this piece, and the skirt is really poofy.  It was not pressed well when I got it, so I spent some time pressing the under skirt so that it laid a little smoother.  I got the largest size, but it did not fit my boobs very well :(  the front gapped and I could not make it look good even with a minimizing bra.  
This would look great on a thinner/less chesty frame than mine.  

If you are busty, know you will be dealing with the button gap issue. Otherwise it's so cute and the way it moves when you walk is so adorable 

Fabric reminds me of curtain fabric. Wasn’t expecting that. Construction is a little weird. But it worked for one day at church. 

Wore for a bridal shower - perfect for the occasion! Required lots of steaming though to make the bottom less poofy! 

The back has a big odd poof.

I even streamed it to get it as flat as possible.
