It was AMAZING. I wore these for my engagement photos and I couldn't have picked a better dress. I loved it so much! 

I’m 5’4 and have a small bust so the top was a bit larger and I ended up pinning up the straps. The drop waist falls at the perfect spot! I ordered a 2 and 4, I’m usually a 4/6, it runs large, I ended up wearing the 2! Would definitely recommend sizing down!

The cut is so unique I got so many compliments, it's flowy and comfortable. I wore it to a brunch with sandals but you can easily dress it up

I’m usually a size 2, but sized down to a 0 and it fit perfectly. Super comfortable, and I was able to wear a regular bra with this! Very easy to dance in.

Usually would go for a size 6 - so glad I went for 4! It fit perfectly! Keeping in mind I am not super busty. The color is GORGEOUS- got so so many compliments. LOVED this look! 

I wished I had followed the advice to size down two sizes. I am between an 8 and a 10, but this 8 was a little loose. I styled with a scarf for a spring art gala and felt great. 

The fabric is GORGEOUS and so light but the top is still perfectly structured! I have the hardest time finding dresses that fit my bust and the rest of my body and this one was great. Tight enough to give support but enough room where I wasn’t squished! 

Loved this dress. Very flattering. Received compliments all evening. 
Only thing… If you are a bit smaller chested, like me, the straps might be a tad loose. 
I wore a size 2. (The size 4, which is my normal, was a bit too big) 

Absolutely obsessed with this dress. It fit like a glove and I didn’t wear a bra. This could be tricky for girls with bigger boobs, but worked perfect for me. I’m so into the drop waist trend and this was gorgeous! 

I am convinced this is the best dress to ever exist. The color was absolute perfection and the fit was amazing! Didn't even have to wear a bra. It was slightly long but I sewed the straps and shortened it a bit that way. I thought I would be a size 10, but the 8 was perfect.

RTR team member here! I absolutely adore the hue of this piece! I’ve felt like it was perfect for my opening night party. I chose to pair it with gold accessories to bring out warm tones, but I can totally see this dress also being used for an outdoor event with a big ole sun hat.  In terms of sizing I got a size 10, but I think I should’ve gotten the size 8 to clinch my waist. If you notice the hip line on this dress, it’s such an interesting place. It’s super eye-catching and I got compliments all night. Enjoy!

Fit true to size. The drop waist is beautiful and so comfortable to wear. I'm 5'9'' and it hit just below my ankles. Perfect with a flat sandal for an outdoor wedding on terrain 

I'm a smaller chested girl so it ran big there but other than that it was PERFECT! I got tons of compliments. The color is stunning. 

Perfect for a destination wedding in Mexico! Received many compliments on the cut and color. Loose fitting while still looking elegant. I paired with turquoise accessories which also received many compliments for the pop of color.

This absolutely ran big but was mostly too long in the shoulder straps. I could have used a size 2 or 0 vs a 4 but the color and fit otherwise was perfect

I rented this dress a year ago and decided to buy it for my sisters wedding. It’s great if you have a larger bust and the material is on the thicker side so you don’t need a bra. Loved it!

It was well-made, comfortable for a whole night at a wedding, and definitely is true to size down one full size. I typically wear a 6/8 and the 4 fit perfect. The color is more traffic cone orange but really pretty. 

I was nervous on sizing since everyone said it runs big, but I felt the 4, my normal size, was perfect. I'm a bit more broad shoulders though so maybe that helped? If I went down in size, it would have been too tight on my chest. Sooooo many compliments! I felt like the prettiest girl at the ball. I loved this so much. Wore to a wedding

Size 8 fit my top but size 6 fits stomach and waist better, overall wore the 8 and was super comfortable. Really great fabric quality and wasn’t super heavy 

Wore to a wedding in Mexico City and it didn’t disappoint! I agree with some reviews that the straps felt a little long, but thankfully it fit my bust fine. I rented the 0 and 2 (per reviews that claim it runs large) and I did opt to wear the 0 which I felt fit well. 10/10 recommend!

The dress is very comfortable, forgiving, and stunning color. I wore this to a welcome cocktail and it was perfect for a sunset rooftop. I felt it was the right amount of fit and support and everyone was complimenting.

I LOVED this dress! I cannot recommend it enough! I have a short torso so a drop waist is very flattering on my body type. It’s very cute and fun a wedding!

I’m between 4 and 6 and the 4 was still a bit big. I may try a 2 so it’s tight on top. The straps were a bit long and the bust a bit big. But overall, it’s a gorgeous dress and the material feels and looks really nice. Didn’t end up wearing as it didn’t fit the fall vibe but I’ll probably rent for a spring wedding as it’s beautiful color!

I loved this dress! I was worried the drop waist would not be flattering on my midsection, but the weight of the fabric and the way it falls is really nice :) the straps were a little long, but I was able to make it work!

It definitely was easier to stand than sit - but I got so many compliments. Also didn’t need to wear a bra which was great!

Sizing - True to size, runs a little big. If you’re in between sizes, get the smaller size. The straps were too long and I had to keep pulling up all night. It was kinda annoying but well worth it! 

Color was gorgeous and perfect for summer formal event but was a bit loose all over even with me sizing down

I loved this dress! I'm 5'5" and was wearing ~3inch heels, and still felt like I tripped over the dress a few times. It's an awesome wedding guest dress!  Lots of compliments! 

Loved the color, and I was so hesitant on the drop waist but I didn’t hate it. I think for this to be flattering it needs to be like near skin tight and even sizing down 2 whole sizes, I am just too flat chested for it to work- usually I’m a 4/6 but I ordered the 2/4 and did not even put the 4 on. This was my backup and I didn’t wear it but think it would’ve been perfect for a black tie wedding/ formal event- fabric was really pretty. 2nd pic is me holding it tight. 

color was fabulous for a late summer wedding. I am a true 0 in dresses, and had to take the waist in a few inches and also temp hem the straps bc they were a little long. I'd say size down 2 sizes - at least 1

I ended up ordering the 6,8,10, all zipped but wasn’t in love with the fit on either size. The 8 gave me the best support, but I still felt like my breasts were very heavy on display. I opted for no bra, & still felt very bridgerton like. Other issue was that it felt tight around my armpits/ back of arms but wasn’t a major issue. Very pretty color (more of a coral/ red than true orange) & fit for the occasion (black tie wedding.)

This was my first order with Rent the Runway and  I anticipated there could be a question of sizing but this was absolutely beyond runs large.  

Other reviews are right and I would suggest sizing down 2 sizes. It was a beautiful dress though! 

Rented my regular size once and it was way too big. Sized down for a one-time rental and it was still looser than I would have liked, but I made it work and it was very very comfortable!

I hated wearing this dress. Based on the comments that the dress ran big I requested my normal size and the size below. First I tried the size below on and it was an obvious mismark; that dress was at least 4 inches from zipping. My normal size fit. I wore it with a black strap less bra and spent all night pulling the dress up or showing my bra. I did tape it, again thanks to the other reviewers there! The tape simply did not hold. This dress was determined to show bra. It was also way too long (I am 5’5” and wore 3” heels). Because of the fabric, the dress was also freezing. Any tiny breeze went straight through the dress and I spent the entire time shivering. I could not wait for the event to end so I could take this dress off. I am big in the ribs so perhaps that is why the dress fit so badly, but my smaller chest also means I had to wear a bra with this to fill it out and again wearing a bra with it was simply a nightmare. I did like the color though, so two stars.

Beautiful dress with vibrant color. A little tight on the top for those with a bigger chest but I made it work. Also a little long had to hold it up when dancing.

Super flattering, easy to wear, great color and fabric. Lots of compliments.
