If you're pear shaped and looking for work pants these are it. I always have issues with enough room in the hips and legs but these pants were on point. 

Often high rise is not high enough but these pants GO THERE!! The belt helps synch you in while the straight leg pant lays and forgives. The length allows for heels or double cuff to wear with sneakers or flats. I dressed them up with a blazer and down with a tshirt and never wanted to take them off. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Absolutely loved these pants!! I paired them with a black loose turtleneck and some nude heels. Ended up buying them because I loved how casual and comfy they are but so easy to dress up! 

The fabric of these pants makes them structured but stretchy? I love that they are fitted in the waist with the belt but have some volume to the legs. They were super comfortable and warmer as the fabric is thicker. Loved them

I have never once worn such a comfortable pair of pants in my life. No exaggeration. They checked all the boxes, high quality material, tailored cut, long enough, and flattering. As a pear-shaped woman, it's almost impossible to find a flattering pair of pants that actually fit over my hips and aren't then loose on my waist. I never wanted to take them off. Definitely a pair I'd buy in the future.

Loved these pants!! Fit perfect and loved the high waist. 

These pants are everything! Incredibly flattering on an hourglass shape.  High waist with relaxed hip and leg. Built in belt that cinches in and stays put all day. Slightly cropped on me. Made my waist look tiny and my hips look smaller.  SCORE! My only complaint is that they were almost "off black" and hard to match with other black items. I wore with green and gray instead. 

LOVE these pants. I am truly considering making these my first purchase on RTR. This photo doesn't totally do justice, but the belt/waste moment makes your waste look tiny!! The pleats are super flattering, and if I paired this with a white t and a black blazer it would be a total #winona moment. If you know the look I'm talking about, you know this is good stuff. Rent these!! 

I liked these pants but they were just slightly too long imo. The sleek look is ruined by it being slightly too long. I'm 5'5" so taller girls will likely not have the same issue. I liked the way it looked with the high waist and the little tie. It makes any shirt seem more elevated. I enjoyed renting this piece and wore it twice before returning. One never gets tired of a pair of great black slacks. 

Didn't quite excite me. The material is dressier than I expected and it was a different shade of black than my other tops. Opted not to wear it, but I'm open to trying it again

I am obsessed with these pants. Will likely purchase. Very room in the butt and legs so they're great if you are curvier. Maybe a bit on the larger side. I tend to be a pretty sure 4 and could maybe size down to a 2.

If you're looking for a high waisted pant that makes you feel like you're an 80s working woman, this is the pant. 

Perfect work pant. Fabric and fit justify the retail price. 

These looked so great on my body and were honestly comfy enough to lounge around in. I am usually a 10-12 in bottoms (33in waist,44 hips) and these fit very well, although they did ride up a bit on my hips when walking so if your waist to hip ratio is larger than mine you may want to size up and try tightening the belt. Great everyday or workwear. They were a tiny bit long on me for flats if you don't want them to break on top of your shoe. I wore them with a 2in bootie and it was a perfect clean line. FYI these look black in the photo but they are very much a dark navy.

Loved the cinched waist. Length hit right at the ankle for me. I usually wear a 2, and probably should’ve ordered the 2, but the 0 did fit.

Definitely recommend these for work. Easy to wear with anything and so comfortable 

These pants ran quite a bit bigger than expected. Size 6 bottoms don't always fit due to my pear shape, but these had plenty of room in the thighs and butt. 
I am 5'6" and they were a little long for me. I was going to wear kitten heels but had to wear my platforms for a better look. I have a fairly small waist so I kept having to tighten the self-belt, but they were so comfortable, I didn't mind! . The material is nice and thick which makes these pants feel high quality.

Nice high waist and very comfortable; the little tortoiseshell detail on the belt is a nice touch. 

These pants are made from thick, heavy material so they are very structured while remaining comfortable. The built-in belt makes them very noticeable (is that the right word?) so I felt like I could only wear them a couple of times throughout the month. Some pants are great re-wears, but these were a huge statement pant for me! 

Very trendy style, super flattering. Very comfortable. I felt they only worked with a tight top to show off the high waist.

These rock! I'm 5'4" and they come up higher than any pants I've ever worn, but it's an amazing fit. I don't look too short even though they are wide. The only weird thing is that they looked seriously navy blue in some light and black in others, so I had to be careful pairing with other black items.

Loved these pant.  Nice soft fabric and very classy looking.  Great quality.   The length was perfect and legs are tailored a bit.  I am thinking about buying them.  Would recommend giving them a try.

high waist but forgiving fabric and POCKETS make for elevated but comfortable modern style.  would have loved an inch or so shorter for an shoe-show-off cut but cuffed when wanted that.  would rent again. the structured knit draped great and didn't get stretched out but tended to collect pet fur/lint

These are my go to work pants when I can't find another bottom and rented tops I want to pair with pants on multiple days. They're a classic shape and flattering. Not too tight around bum for office either. 

I was so excited for these but #1 they’re navy blue, and #2 I couldn’t breathe when I buttoned them. So sad! 

It was a bit tight on the waist. I should have sized up, but then would have been short.

Fit is true to size. I wear a 4-6 and wore these in 6. Heavy material which was great for east coast weather. Dressy/flattering cut. Got lots of compliments even though they are just black pants. 

I really liked these! I wound up wearing them twice. The cut is flattering, I love the high waistline. The 2R gave me some breathing room (I generally fluctuate between 0-2, but at the moment it's more like 2-4). These gave me old-timey newspaper editor vibes in the absolute best way. The fabric is also very stretchy and comfortable - especially great for any day you expect to be stuck late at the office, or doing a lot of physical moving around. They were definitely a little long on me (5'2"), but did not look unflattering. They are more of a blue-black than a true black (so I preferred to wear a nude shoe). Overall, I really liked these and found them comfortable and flattering. Definitely recommend.

The pants were cute, but a tiny bit small in the waist - especially if you want to tuck in a shirt. If you are typically between a 6 and an 8, they will likely work for you.


I loved these pants but they were a bit too long/baggy in the leg.  Would be perfect if you are average height -- I am 5'2".  The waist fit perfectly, though, so I wore them once with heels to the office.
