Cut of the buttons makes this so flattering. Good summer staple 

The fit is so good! I love the length and the diagonal buttons. The slit might have been a little high for my work environment. Easily dress up or down. 

Fits true to size, slit is nice but not too high. Very versatile. 

I loved this skirt. It would ocassionally bunch up 

The button detail gives this a little bit of sexiness! 

This skirt is adorable. I couldn’t decide what size to get because I’m between a 30 and 31. I opted for a 31 but it was a little too big. I think the 30 would have fit perfect. Will definitely rent again!

I really liked this skirt. It was a fun change of pace from jeans. The angular waist was different and unique. 

Fun rental, but didn’t put me over the top. Rented to pair with the Ganni x RTR smocked top seen pictured here. Runs TTS and it was comfortable for a date.

This skirt was cute, very high waisted to fit properly. Liked but didn’t love.

I didn't think I would like this skirt, but ended up loving it and debating keeping it. I normally am a 27 waist, but in Madewell I'm a 26. I decided to be cautious and order a 27, but should have gone with a 26 because it was a little looser, but very comfortable and still flattering. I found myself putting this on rather than my usual denim shorts to elevate my casual outfits.  I got a lot of compliments and would consider renting again or even buying.

I loved this skirt and would consider buying it too. Love the asymmetric opening which helped to cover my upper legs while sitting. The waist was a bit on the tight side. Should have gone up to 27 but was fine with the 26. 

I loved having this skirt as an alternative to jeans or shorts. Considered buying it. 

Fit great on waste. Loved the color and style. Too tight on my thighs - uncomfortable. 

I think this runs true to size, I just got a size or two too big so it was a bit bulky. The denim is thick - even though the slit goes fairly high, I felt comfortable wearing in a casual office. Would have worn a few more times if I had the right size.

This was a bit bigger than I expected but it was cute. I would size down.

Maybe I needed to size down?  It fit awkwardly in hips and waist.  I made it work and wore to school function with tucked in tshirt.  Cute but only wore once.  

Felt like it bunched a little more than I would have liked at the top, would have bought it otherwise, just felt like it didn't lay in a flattering way and photos proved that was true. 

Wore for my work day. Simple and cute. Liked the way the buttons on the front went down. TTS

Only issue is it would bunch where the layers overlapped. I would have to straighten the skirt out each time I stood. 

I got a lot of compliments and it didn't flap weirdly like how some other jean skirts do. I think the layered effect helps this 

Cute skirt, slit is spicy like others have said. Size down imo 

Ordered my usual Madewell size. Would rent again!
