Power dress. The cape makes it and adds drama while being elegant and simple. Deep purple color is beautiful. Like an eggplant shade. Comfortable and easy to walk and dance in. I’m a 36 C and was only able to wear thin bra. No room for padded push-up. But it fit perfectly on hips and waist and looked fine without the push-up. 

And it was so comfortable. Floating as I walked. Loved it 

The quality and fit of this dress was perfect. I was concerned it would be too long since I'm only 5'2"; but a 3" heel gave it the proper length. The bodice wasn't necessarily made for a curvy body but the cape hid slight imperfections. I received many compliments. The flow of the cape when I walked was magical!

Fit great! I loved that the cape is attached so that I didn't have to worry with it at all. Great length (with heels). Stretched well (while eating and sitting!) Beautiful deep purple color. Show-stopper for sure!

Fit perfectly, SUPER comfortable. Lots of compliments and an air of drama with the cape.

Perfect for a black tie wedding in a cold climate

Got many complements at the event. Elegant dress. Loved the open sleeves that create a gown behind you when you walk. Perfect for my height as well (5’4)

The cape flairs out behind when you walk and drapes beautifully when you stand. 

This fit like a dream! At the time I was a 4/6 but the 6 fit my hips better. The cape was elegantly dramatic and I got stopped all night with compliments. 10/10, no notes.

Note: The cape does restrict overhead arm movement a bit but, like, duh. 

Easy to wear.  Cape does not detach which was a true plus in this case.  I thought the slit was on the side, but it’s in the back.  That wasn’t a problem just a note.  Came ontime, easy return even on a holiday (found an ups outpost).  

Looooved this dress! I was getting compliments all night. So flattering and comfortable to dance in!

Fit was perfect. wore with  3-1/2 " heel. Elegant.


The cake made me feel fabulous. I had to wear a size up from normal and the dress is not meant for a lot of movement or dancing.
Luckily this was a low key wedding where I could just stand around and look amazing.

I was worried this dress would feel too conservative, but it felt regal and fit beautifully. The cape is a real showstopper!

Wore this as a rennaissance-type dress for a costume party and it worked perfectly, but also would have been elegant and stylish for a high-end occasion. Got tons of compliments all day, and the cape is really a work of art - modern, lightweight, and doesn't get in your way at all! The fabric is lightweight and wasn't too hot throughout various day and night activities, including in crowded places, so definitely could be worn in all seasons. With the dark color and high neckline, it may be a bit mother-of-the-bride-ish if worn with conservative accessories, or for a wedding - but I would definitely wear to an evening black tie event and still feel edgy/not stodgy with the right accessories.

Like others, I received tons of compliments on the cape. I thought it would be a little odd, but it was just right. And the dress was a good length with 2 1/2" heels for a 5'2" gal.

The dress fit well, the material weight was perfect and very comfortable. The cape was obviously amazing! I received so many complements. It really made me feel good. I highly recommend some sort of belt, I bought a $10 golden chain purse strap from target and it worked great.

I went with the 4rover the 2r.  Both fit great and the material has some stretch, but the 2 came above my bare feet.  I’m 5’4”.  The dress was very elegant and perfect for the event.  I wore 4” heels with the 4r.

I received numerous compliments from strangers. Beautiful color and fit. 

Show stopper. Wore to an office holiday party, the dress is full coverage and modest so perfect for dressing up without being overt. The cape added just enough drama to steal the show. It billows beautifully when you walk! Should have played theme music from my clutch. Really enhanced my mood- Fun and powerful vibes. Go for it. 

This dress was so comfortable and very stunning.  You stand out in a good way.  I have never worn this designer before but for me - currently weighing more than I like - the 8 was perfect.  Easy to dance it, lots of compliments! 

Wore it to a holiday party; the cape has wonderful movement when walking and hides unflattering back rolls; great for a gala or a nice party as it can glammed up if need be. Overall, a stand out dress without all the frills.

Absolutely polished look in this gown. The fit was perfect. The length was perfect, even when I took off my heels for dancing. Got lots of compliments.

If you are 5'3" or under you will need to wear very high heels as dress is long but stunning also helps to use safety pins at shoulder to hide bra

I'm 6' tall and this was unfortunately too short for me in both the waist and the hem (while wearing flats), so I deeply appreciate RTR sending me a backup dress. I'm guessing that 5'7" or 5'8" is probably the tallest that this dress would work for. The fit itself is true to US size 4, which is why I marked it as "just right."

This dress ran very small.  It was short enough for me to wonder if it was a petite.

Midnight blue color almost looked like a deep purple in some lighting.  Stunning design but this size was a little too long for me so I opted to wear something else.

Loved the cape, but it was just too long for me to wear so I went with my backup dress for the event. 

Love this. Great fit but slightly short on me, was hoping it would be long with heels and its a little cropped

that dress was beautiful unfortunately was short i was hopping for a floor length,  specially because my shoes were 4 inches tall.
 I will definitely rent again i will just read all the information about the fabric and the information of the dress.
