I wear a size 6 and have relatively small frame/breasts and couldn't zip up the 6R so very glad I got the backup 8. Good length for a not-so-tall person who wants to wear a long dress. I wore 2-3 inch heels. Great heavy-ish fabric that laid flat on body so made me look and feel sleek. Loved it! 

Was definitely worried this would be too tight based on other reviews. I sized up (6R), and it actually fit perfectly. Snug but not uncomfortable at all. Tons of compliments at the annual Christmas party! 

Fancy enough for a nice wedding but comfortable enough to eat and dance in 

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding. I received so many compliments! It was comfortable and so much prettier in person than in the photos. I’m petite and the length was perfect.  Based on the other reviews I ordered a size 4p instead of my usual size 2 and I’m glad I sized up. I’d definitely recommend this dress for a special occasion.

Rented this dress for a wedding, and it was amazing! I got so many compliments- the photographer even pulled me aside for a mini-photoshoot, she loved the dress so much! It was so flattering, very comfortable, and the perfect length! But it does run small. I usually wear between a size 2-4 (closer to a 2, especially through the bodice), so I thought for sure the 4 would be fine. Since the size 2 was unavailable, I took the size 6 as a back-up but not thinking I'd need it. So lucky it worked out this way because the size 4 was really small- to point I couldn't zip it all the way. But the 6 fit like a glove! Wish I had the opportunity to wear it again and again!

Even more gorgeous in person and fit so well. I was complimented left and right! I'm usually between a 10 and a 12 and the 12 fit better throughout my hips. Highly HIGHLY recommend! 

This dress was a bit snug at first but loosen with continued wear. Received many compliments and was breathable and unique. 

One of my favorite formal dresses rented from RTR. So flattering and comfortable! It ran slightly small and there's no give in the waist band - I would size up if you're in between sizes!

I love this dress! I'm usually a size 10-12, rented a 12 and it fit perfect. Wore it to a wedding and didn't feel too hot after many dances. I'm 5'0 and it just about reached the floor with some heels. It was tight in the bust with a bra, so I decided to just let the girls go free and yet I felt supported and very comfortable. The material is thick enough and looks super lux and I wish I had more occasions to rent this dress. Definitely try it!

The occasion was a destination wedding in Croatia, and Black Tie. I needed a gown that wasn't too young for me (I'm 70), not too showy, and which would work well next to my guy in his tux. This Pine for You dress was perfect! The setting was outdoors and was rocky and uneven underfoot, so no heels. Although the dress designed to be ankle length, for me at 5'3", it was floor length. The design and styling are universal and the dress works well for all ages, IMO. I felt confident and beautiful. I'm so glad I found RTR to help me through this event. 

Wore this to a January wedding. Super sliming, loved it! Top is a little snug if you have a bigger chest. 

I am usually a size 0 and ordered the 0 and 2. The 0 fit but breathing was hard! I am 5’2” 110#. The dress was the perfect length and so comfortable. Absolutely love this dress!

I sized up based on reviews (usually a 6 or 8) and got the 8 and 10. Ended up wearing the 10. The skirt and bodice have sheer material making it a great choice for a summer formal wedding. The skirt was longer than tea length on me but I didn’t mind the longer skirt. Overall great experience!

Loved wearing this to a “creative black tie” wedding, got many compliments! Fit like a glove - not much extra room in the bust but the unique silhouette didn’t focus on that area if that makes sense. 

Wore to a formal wedding and LOVED. Got tons of compliments. Was snug on chest so I didn’t need a bra. The material is heavier and thick. Has a slip underneath. Would wear again if it wasn’t such a statement piece!

This is a great dress that bonus, you don’t need a bra for. Throw a blazer on and elevate your office outfit or lose the jacket and wear it to an event. It all works.

I’m 5’ 2” and wore a 6R. I’m usually a 4, sometimes a 2 but the 6 was perfection. I wore 4 inch stilettos and the dress was floor length without being a trip hazard :) I loved how it swished around my ankles and calves but was fitted in the main body. Standing, dancing, walking, sitting - this dress was comfortable and gorgeous for a fundraising gala. 

I loved this dress and felt great wearing it. I'm normally a size 00 and had to size up to the 2 because the dress runs very small.  However, it was comfortable and the perfect length for me (with heels).  I wore it to a charity gala and received tons of compliments all night!

Gorgeous dress! It fits really well and is great for petites because it’s not a full length gown. I got so many compliments on this dress. I would definitely rent it again! Perfect for a black tie event! 

This dress was perfect! It was fitted on top and up to the hips but the layered skirt was feminine and easy to move around in. Received lots of compliments and loved that it was black but with fun and unique details. I had to wear the bigger size  Of my 2 choices because there is no stretch at all on the torso portion and I have a wider rib cage so the zipper wouldn't close on the zero. It looks better in person than in the pictures because of the lace and sheer details. Also I usually look for petite  Or dresses that offer a short option because of my height but this one is great because it's meant to be a bit above the ankles. 

pros: great for an outdoor very hot wedding, loved how the dress was tight up top and swayed down towards my ankles
cons: only thing that bothered me was the black slip underneath, which goes to fingertip length, rode up a bit, based on my leg shape

I've been waiting for an opportunity to rent this dress and it was everything I hoped it would be! I got so many compliments and the material was the upmost quality. This dress made my night!

 I am 5'2, 120 pounds.  I wore size 4.  The length was perfect.  Its even prettier in person.  It's subtle yet it gives so much character. 

I wore this for my 1st Opening Night at my new job and it is still one to remember!  It had the perfect fit and I received compliments all night long.  I loved the night and the dress!

Wore for a work gala that included lots of sitting followed by dancing. Fit like a glove but still had enough give to allow for hours of dancing too! I'm small chested with a petite shoulder build but have wide ribs and the 4R fit amazing. The mesh details made it feel sexy but still leaned more reserved. Only thing I wish was it was shorter. The regular size hit me at a weird spot in my legs.

Ordered size 10 and a size 8 for a wedding and sized up to the 10 for the chest area! Stunning dress but not stretchy at all in the fabric in addition to a smaller chest area so keep in mind when ordering. Loved it!

Loved this unique tiered look, but the 2 definitely ran small. Needed a lot of help zipping and could barely breathe. Worth it for how cute it was but definitely go up if between sizes. Reviews are right 

I usually wear a size 4 and based on the reviews went up to size 6 and it fit perfectly. I have a curvy figure and it fit well and looked amazing.

Went up 2 sizes and it fit just right. Comfortable and fun to dance in. No need to wear a bra, always a plus! Loved this one!

This was my backup dress so I was nervous it wouldn't work out but loved it! Will definitely rent again. Fit like a glove, can wear a normal bra, and was petite friendly. My normal size fit but sizing up made it a little more comfortable.

This dress was a dream! Top 10! The skin that shows without cleavage showing is perfect for any small busted women! 

It's not the most flattering style for large hips but my main complaint was that the short black piece of material kept riding up so you could see everything (making spans impossible). The fabric was nice, the top was very cute and fit petite shoulders, and the texture and length were positive

Worn for a murder mystery masquerade ball (holiday party) and the dress went well. 

  

I rented this via my subscription for a last minute event. I thought the top would make me self conscious of my broad shoulders but it is really flattering. It’s a pretty dress and worked for the event but just wasn’t a wow. 

This dress was SO flattering! However, I’d say it ran a little small - it was tight at the top and around my thighs so the lining kept riding up. The lining is short so it felt a risqué. Still a beautiful dress, I’d just size up next time.

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner. I felt like it fit well and looked nice, but not quite my style.  

I'm typically a size 6/34DD/slightly curvy, but ended up having to size up to a 10R for it to zip up. The dress was super easy and comfortable to wear to a black tie wedding. Would absolutely recommend, but just know it runs quite small! 

Definitely need a tan to wear this dress. It was alright. wasn't in love but it did fit nicely. Considering my height, the length was fine with a 2 inch heel.

I wore this to a wedding and received many compliments! It is a really beautiful dress and the fabric and details made it a perfect dress for a formal event. I am usually a 10 but last minute the size 10 I reserved was no longer available. I was sent the back up size 12 and two other dress alternatives. These alternatives didn’t work out so I ended up wearing the 12. It was definitely loose and I would have loved having the 10 for the correct fit. The pattern of the fabric hid that this dress was too big so it was not noticeable in pictures. 

gorgeous dress. got a lot of compliments on it. it fit very snug, especially in the chest. normally i wear a size 2. i would suggest sizing up 1 size. 

This dress definitely runs small. I looked through others' reviews and based on what I could gather, I rented a 2R and chose 4R as my backup size. Well I couldn't even squeeze into the 2, and struggled to get into the 4 and to zip it up. Once I did, the dress wasn't even flattering. I should've tried a 6R, but couldn't get one in time for the weddings I attended. I'd love to give this dress another try when I attend another wedding in October, as the embroidery and lace are so pretty! There's even a sheer panel around the waist which I'd normally balk at, but the black lace means it's not too obvious. This is a gorgeous dress, but it's very tight and form fitting, and runs small (so small that I underestimated how much I'd need to size up!).

Edit: I rented a 6R for another wedding I attended and it fits comfortably around my body now. However my bust isn't full enough to fill in the upper part of the dress and I had considered pinning it at the bottom of the armscye but ultimately felt it was unnecessary as I was wearing a light sweater over it, anyways. The other issue about not filling in the dress properly is that the zipper started coming undone and there was no clasp at the top to keep the back neckline in place.
On the other hand, the length is great- I wore flats and the hem just barely brushed the floor. It was also long and dark enough for me to sneak in a pair of leggings!

This dress is gorgeous and high quality. I would say the top is snug and this is not for those with a larger chest. The size 4 is snug from the waist band up but loose around the hips and down. I didn't rent a size 6, but I feel as if it would be loose in the armpit section and not as flattering around the hip are with extra fabric hanging. Comfortable to sit in just tighter around the top portion. Falls right about an inch above my ankle bone at 5'8"
