This dress is absolutely gorgeous, and I felt amazing in it - I highly recommend it for a cocktail or formal event! The structure and fit are perfect and I received so many compliments. It fits true to size but also has some stretch so you never feel constricted and you can easily move dancing. I’m on the cusp of petite sizing so this was ankle-length on me. The straps are wide enough that a regular bra can be worn which was nice and it didn’t require any fabric tape, pinning etc. I would absolutely rent it again..or even purchase!

I typically wear a medium but wore the large since the band at the waist was so snug. Because I wore the larger size for comfort, there was extra fabric at the top part of the dress that I had to pin back as it's already very revealing. You must wear a plunging bra with this one since it's so low cut, and I was adjusting throughout the night to keep coverage. The velvety fabric was nice for a fall wedding, and the jewel tone color was beautiful.

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding, and overall I thought it was a lovely dress. I read the other reviews so I was prepared to wear one size larger than usual since it was a little constricting across the bust (I love that they send a second size for free!) but I wasn't fully prepared for how thick the dress was... it was perfect for the ceremony, but it became pretty warm for the reception where there was lots of dancing. There are a few layers of fabric beneath the lace overlay, and it was a bit stifling as the night went on - I think if I was attending an event with less dancing I would have liked the dress more. Nevertheless I got plenty of compliments, and I loved the color of the dress!
