The dress is absolutely beautiful in real life. However, I did not like the way the waist was positioned much higher than my natural waist. I have a classic hourglass shape and so dresses that hit my natural waist are much more flattering. I would definitely recommend this dress to ladies with apple, athletic or pear body types though.

I normally wear an 8, but I wore this dress in size 6 because I wanted it tight to my waist. I have a large chest (D) and it did not leave a ton of room there, but it fit perfectly snug to my curves (even after eating whatever I wanted the evening before and throughout the wedding reception)

I ordered this dress for big fall wedding. I was very disappointed with this dress--I almost did not wear it at all. All the reviews for this dress were outstanding so I disregarded the one poor review. I normally do very well with tight dresses that come down to my knees so I thought it would be perfect. However, the material and the color of the dress made the dress look very cheap. When I first put it on I was worried I looked like a street walker! I ended up wearing a different dress for the ceremony and changed for the reception. The gathering made me look bigger, not smaller. If I had another option I probably would not have worn it at all.

This dress is sexy but elegant. The slit on the back was very pretty. I wore this to a wedding rehearsal dinner and it made me stand out. My only complaint is that the slit does come up very high on the thigh. Also, plan ahead if you need to wear a bra--you will need to get stick-'ems!
