I was a little nervous to rent this dress because of many reviews commenting on the weird fit of the top of the dress. I ordered an XS and S (I usually wear an XS). The XS actually fit really great. The top was not too big or baggy. I did ultimately safety pin it in a few spots to make it hang the way I wanted and to not let it cut too low as I was going to a work event. It was a little tight on my butt, but I usually have this problem. I wore a bra that is meant to be worn with low-back dresses, but you could definitely wear it without a bra. I felt great in this dress and got a ton of compliments. It was ultimately very flattering and the color and cut (especially the back) is very unique. I did try on the small that I ordered as a backup and it was way too big on me and the chest was really really big- so I'm glad I was able to fit into the XS as I think it is a little more proportionally cut than the small.

I wore this to a winter/evening wedding on the East Coast. It was a safe dress, but the neckline is definitely unique and it was overall very flattering. I got a few compliments on it. I usually wear a size 0. The smallest this dress comes in is a 2. It was very big for a 2- both in the bust and waist. I had to wear a super padded bra plus gel boobs. Ultimately my boobs were a C-D cup (I'm actually a 32A-B) just to fill the dress and make it fit right. The waist was a little loose too so I added a black belt on the day of the event which helped add more shape. It would have been ok without it, but I like to have dresses tight on my waist. The length was good and the slit in front was cute. I danced all night without it ever being uncomfortable.
