This dress was beautiful on. It fit perfectly and looked very classy. The belt was a perfect touch.
I'm 5'2" and it just grazed the floor with four inch heels. The slit only shoes leg when you are sitting down. It's a very nice heavy material and I was able to wear a bra with it without the straps showing, but it wasn't necessary. I got a ton of compliments on it.
