I was so excited to get this dress because of the gorgeous color, long sleeves (work appropriate!), and fun detail. Thought it would be perfect for work! It looked really comfortable with the straight-cut style. It is definitely a gorgeous color but it was way too wide from the butt down. I am a short 5'2'' and average build. This dress in the size 38 was baggy - and I can do baggy - but it went to the extreme to the point of potato sack baggy. Maybe the dress was warped from dry cleaning, but the fit just did not look good. As other reviewers mentioned, also had to roll the sleeves (but this part still looked ok).

I LOVE THIS DRESS. It is so unique. It is incredibly well made. There is amazing attention to detail. For example, for the back zipper, there is a panel that snaps over & covers it, making the dress look seamless! The overlap of the fabric is perfect to give you a greek goddess look. The cut allows a sexy peek of thigh! I am short 5'2'' and am always hesitant to rent the longer dresses, but with heels this dress was the perfect length and the longest part in the back just skimmed the floor. It would work well for taller gals too. I would say this dress is best for a curvy gal with a small waist (think Kardashian) because you do need some cleavage to fill in bust area because the cut is pretty low. Also, there is NO give in the waist (its tight!). There is some room in the hips / butt. The fabric is pleated and is a gorgeous color. The fabric is very warm, it retains body heat. NOTE: this dress requires help to zip! as a single gal, it always annoys me when I can't zip up my own dress. but this beauty is worth the zipping trouble. NOTE: The fabric definitely retains heat, I felt very warm in it just standing there, I can only imagine how hot it gets when dancing. Only wear this in cool weather. I ultimately couldn't wear it to the wedding because the temp was so warm that day. :( NOTE: This dress is great for flaunting your curves, especially if you also have a small waist. This dress has a very small/fitted waist. SIZE UP! I am curvy but short 5'2'', and between a 0/2 in dresses. I find that most of the RTR dresses I rent are a bit baggy. This dress in 34R fit like a glove. There is "give" in the chest and hips/butt but NO give in the waist. If you want to feel and look like a Kardashian on the red carpet, rent this dress.

Love love love the color and the soft amazing leather. I have been dreaming of owning a Chloe bag - this one would be something I would splurge on and buy! Compliments galore from all generations - even the grandparents sitting next to me on the plane said "what a beautiful purse." The only minor detail that prevented me from full-on buying it: the zipper does not connect with the bag. See how the zipper flaps stick out in the photo? (and if you tuck in the zipper flaps there are still mini holes where small items like lipstick can escape from when your purse is bounced around in a car or airplane) No one will notice it but you. BUT it bothered me, just seems like a cheap design trick to put a zipper on an otherwise very luxurious bag. In summary, keep tabs on your small items and definitely rent this beauty!!! You will love it!

The pattern on this romper is incredibly lovely (and I don't usually like flower patterns). There are so many colors in the pattern - it is very easy to pair with different accessories. The fabric is a silk/poly blend (I think?) and is very airy and silky and lightweight but could start to stick to skin if sweat hits the fabric. Be warned - there is absolutely NO gather in the waist - it is a straight up&down potato sack - the model photo is entirely deceiving they must have pinned the back for the photo. A belt fixes this but then the shorts will ride up a bit. I am a short 5'2'' and the short length was plenty short for me, especially when sitting down, woah it rides up. Show off your legs in this one. The romper buttons up the front so bathroom breaks are a hassle like most rompers, ie. not a good choice for a beer fest. Wore it with a belt and jean jacket and got lots of compliments.

This dress was my favorite rental yet! The stitching in the panel around the neckline is gorgeous - draws the eye up to your face - the detail at the waist gives that hourglass illusion while the black slims. FYI the colors in the panels are a bit different from the photo (a dull teal / dull salmon - I guess I expected brighter) but still a beautiful combo. I am 5'2'' and the dress hit me right above the knee, proper enough to wear to work with a casual jacket. And fun enough to wear at night without a jacket. Easy to move in, flowy, and very comfortable! Be sure to put this dress on BEFORE your makeup as the head hole is quite small and will rub your face. I didn't notice any zippers.

I am usually between a 0/2, and the 0 fit with plenty of extra room. The dress has a boxy fit that I was not expecting. The cut and pattern of this dress is GREAT for an event where you want to eat/drink and have plenty of room to feel comfy the whole time. In the image online I thought the dress looked light & wispy, but the satin fabric is lined/supported by a heavier material that gives the dress some serious structure. The fabric could make the dress hot, except the open lace in the back provides insta-A/C drafts. ( if you get cold easily, pair a pashmina, jean jacket, or short blazer with the dress). I would almost say this dress runs big, and to go a size down, but the length is super SHORT when seated. I am only 5'2'' and when I stand everything is good but when I sit down, the dress rides up like a mini skirt! My mistake as this dress was the first one I didn't test at home, and when I sat down for the first time in public, hello thighs! If you are taller be sure to sit down at home to test the coverage. Other than that I LOVE LOVE this dress. The lace in back is so pretty and the lace is very well done. The back zipper would get stopped near the lace part because of the change from the heavier satin fabric to the lighter more flexible lace, just be patient when zipping.

The dress I was sent still had the original tag on it! This is the first time RTR has sent something brand new. The fabric is so soft and comfortable and stretchy, I love the fabric!!! The bodice fit so nicely - gives the illusion of more curves while still providing coverage (I am a 34B and felt as though I could wear this dress to work, there was no 'cleavage' showing) - and the fit at the waistline gives an illusion of cinched-in waist. Unfortunately, from there down this dress did NOT work for me, maybe because I am short 5'2'' and it is meant for someone taller. I am trim & athletic, but the way the pockets hit my hips it would create a lot of extra volume at my lower hips and make it look like I had saddlebags. Again, I think the dress is just meant for someone taller. As much as I love a dress with pockets, this fabric does not work well with pockets. Curious to see what others think. I had to send it back.

I am between a size 0/2 and was worried the 0 would be too small. I am small and athletic but I have a broad rib cage so sometimes the smaller size won't zip in the back. The 0 was perfect. However, there is NO GIVE in the material. It is still a comfortable dress, but just be prepared for minor mobility issues. I tested sitting down at home to be sure I would feel okay in it all night. It was very difficult to get in/out of the car, you have to sit first, and then swivel in/out. Dancing/walking was fine, but the cap sleeves on this dress will limit arm movement above shoulder height (for example, arms up for SHOUT! is not an option). PROS 1. the back of the dress!!! the cut of the lace in the back gives you a feminine, hourglass figure 2. gorgeous lace detail!!! the 'peek a boo' polka-dot lace at chest area is demure yet sexy 3. cap sleeves are great for weddings in a church where shoulders should be covered 4. I am short 5'2'' and the length was right below my knees, thighs/knees are hidden, lower legs are showcased 5. this dress provides coverage but you will feel sexy and feminine and like a celebrity! CONS 1. there is NO possible way to snap the top-back of the dress by yourself (because the cap sleeves limit arm mobility) I was by myself getting ready so I asked a gal at the hotel front desk to help = problem solved 2. there is NO GIVE in the material, the dress does not stretch 3. obviously because of the open back you can't wear a bra, I am a 34B and I looked flat so I popped in some of those padded Bravo 'chicken cutlets' and secured with fashion tape and they stayed in place all night 4. also because of the low back, spanx may not be possible, I tried it on with spanx and when I sat down the high-waist of the spanx would peek out the top of the lace in the back, so I ended up not wearing it with spanx.

The photo of this dress on the model does not do it justice! The color looks washed out in the photo but the colors of the lace detail are so pretty and vibrant in person! The lace is fairly thick and sturdy, I would feel comfortable dancing in this dress. The lace detail at the neckline contours perfectly around the collarbone to give you the most delicate decolletage. The ribbon at the waist helps define the waist and give appropriate curves. This dress draws the attention to all the right places! The dress, although comfortable, does not have any flex. I am between a 0/2 and the 0 fit like a glove, it was form fitting without being tight. However, when I would sit it would feel a little snug in the hips. As another reviewer mentioned, this dress is heavy when you hold it in your hands, but I didn't notice the weight once the dress was on. However, the R was too long for me, I am 5'2'' and wore my highest shoes to try on the dress (wedges, with a 2 inch platform in the toe rising to a 6 inch platform in the heel) and it was still dragging on the floor. Had to send it back.

This dress is even prettier than in the photos. The fabric is very lightweight, and the pattern is flattering especially gives an illusion of definition in the waistline. As other reviewers noted, you can't see it on the model but there are fine slits in the front of each leg that are about mid-thigh-high, so when standing still the fabric looks continuous but when you walk you flash a little leg, very feminine and sexy! The XS dress was very loose even in the waist, I usually wear a 0/2 because I'm short, and I would say this dress in XS is a size 4/6. Also the dress is VERY long. I am 5'2'' and I put on my highest wedges (2 inch platform in the toe area / 6 inches in the heel) hoping I could make it work but the dress was still dragging on the floor. :( Couldn't let such a beautiful dress drag on the ground, sent it back for the right person to enjoy! :)
