I wore this for a dinner date for my husband's birthday. I was 3 months pregnant. Not pregnant, I would have chosen a small, but since I hadn't gained much weight, I ordered the small and the medium. The small was an awesome bodycon fit even around my clearly pregnant belly (this is my third baby, so there's no hiding it). The medium fit well too, but it was a little loose around the chest, which might have been because of the way it fit around my belly. I don't normally go for sequins, but in the low light of the restaurant it was subdued. I loved the many shades of blue in the sequins. It's hard to see in the pictures, but it was lovely! I wish I would have remembered to take a picture...

Since my dresses came a day early I was able to wear this dress once for a date and once for a dinner dance. It was easy to accessorize with different tights, belts, shoes and jewelry. The fabric was heavy enough to be warm, and I didn't have to wear special underwear. It was a very nice dress and I looked fine in it, but I wouldn't call it spectacular or particularly flattering. The flared skirt was fun and looked great!

Really cute dress with a subtle retro feel. I wore it with brown heels and gold earrings for poolside dinner and cocktails at a country club. The size 2 fit like a glove, but the 0 didn't fall correctly over my behind. It was great for showing off my legs. They looked a mile long! It was very comfortable and had some stretch to it. The dress was fantastic, but it was in rough shape when it arrived. First I discovered at least five safety pins in the dress! I think someone put them there to hold the bow in place, but the pins had damaged some of the fabric, which wasn't completely hidden by the bow. The bow did look a little lopsided when I took it out of the box, but my garment steamer and a little fussing fixed it. It laid perfectly all night (with no pins). The biggest problem was the lining sticking out the top and bottom of the dress. The bottom hem was easily fixed with fashion tape, but I never could get the lining back where it belonged around the neckline, no matter how I tried to steam or iron it. At least, it wasn't too obvious since the color of the dress and the lining matched perfectly..

I chose this dress to show off my backside and small waist, and when I tried it on, it definitely did! My husband couldn't stop telling me how much he liked it, but I didn't feel over-exposed at my husband's professional award banquet, which my in-laws also attended. I fit into the 4, but the 6 actually fit well. I was concerned that the sleeves wouldn't fall right on my wider-than-normal shoulders, but I had no problems there. Shapewear was not necessary, even with my belly from having two babies in the last 2 1/2 years. My only complaint is that the zipper area rode up a little around my hip, leaving a weird lump if I didn't keep pulling the skirt down. I highly recommend this for any time you want to feel a little sexy, but lots of skin isn't appropriate.
