Perfect for in-between season!
I loved wearing this in late spring! It’s on the heavier side - more short-sleeved denim jacket feel than shirt - but paired great with skirts/pants and felt like such a high-quality, fun upgrade to a casual basic.

Comfortable but not flattering
I sized down and even so, this piece fits baggy/oversized. Super comfy and lightweight which was great for my vacation in a hot climate, but I did end up hating all photos of me in it because it made me look very wide (the elastic waist is not real and there’s no waist definition at all).

SO short
I own lots of HHH, so I was pretty comfortable with renting an XS (all of my dresses from this brand are XS). But wow was this dress unwearably short, even on a short-legged 5’3” person. My whole butt hung out the back. Too bad because the print is so cute!

I rented two dresses as options for a wedding and didn’t end up wearing this one, but it’s great! Probably better suited for fall/winter given its colors. Fit was perfect and true to size, ruching style made it easy and flattering.

Very baggy, though beautiful print
Loved the colors and silky feel but couldn't get behind the fit on me. It didn't make me look large so much as it made me look like I was trying to hide my body (guessing if I'd worn it to a rehearsal dinner as planned people would've assumed I was pregnant). Just a very wide dress that wasn't for me!

Perfect rental
Not my usual style, so loved having it temporarily! Perfect fit and unique look. Only downside is the sweater part was pretty itchy for me (I needed a full undershirt to tolerate it).

Very in-between weight, very cropped
Didn't hate it, but it's a heavier kind of wool feeling yet unlined - hard to get the right season! It's also more cropped than I realized, not quite hitting the waist of high-waisted jeans. Very cute design, though, and felt fancy.

This dress was perfect for the occasion - a black-tie event in late spring. And so comfortable!
The fabric is really thick and luxurious, it feels very dressed-up in person. The fit through the top/bodice was great - and you can wear a normal racerback bra - but for me at 5 foot 3, the size 2R was almost too long (even in 3-inch heels). Definitely couldn't have worn flats, and I was dying in my heels by the end of the night. Only problem was that RTR has become ubiquitous in NYC and there was another woman at the event in the same dress. Maybe someday RTR can store event info so that you have a heads up if someone going to the same event has rented the dress you're looking at?

Gorgeous dress - sexy and classy!
It's a very deep V, so be ready for that - I could see it being a lot of cleavage on people with more of a chest than I have. I loved the richness of the color and fabric and they way it hugged my waist. Great for twirling, too! I was sad to put this in the return envelope and would definitely rent it again!
