I got both the M and the L. They both fit great, the M was just a little snug, so I chose to wear the L as the event was an awards dinner and I knew I was going to eat and be sitting and then standing for awhile. I felt so comfortable all night. I liked that this was just a pull-on instead of a zipper as it's always difficult to get a zipper up by myself. And I could wear my regular bra with it. Also a big plus.

Loved having such a fashionable dress at my company event.
I wore the bigger size I chose, 14 R, which is equivalent to a 12 US. I believe I could have worn the smaller 12R (10 US) size, but I would have needed assistance getting it zipped. As it is, I had to turn it around and start the zipper, and then twist it back in place to get it zipped up all the way. What has been said in other reviews is true. The snap on the skirt does not hold at all, but I was able to use the eye hook deal and it held all night without any assistance. I did not wear a bra with it and was comfortable all night. It's also very forgiving, in that I did not use any Spanx or other type of undergarment and felt like there were no pronounced bumps or bulges. I would definitely rent this dress again. It was beautiful!

Fabulous dress. Received lots of compliments.
The dress fit really wonderful. And in a sea of mostly black dresses - it was an awards dinner - the purple stood out. Everyone loved it. And the pockets were amazing. The fit was perfect. The only complaint I have is the zipper, more specifically the zipper pull. I tried the dress on by myself and was unable to get it zipped up. The zipper was a little difficult and the pull was so small, it was hard to hold on to. For the evening of the event, a friend was able to get it zipped up for me.

Fabulous dress, perfect for lots of occasions.
Dress fit perfectly. I would say it's good for all body types. The only con I have is the same one that everyone else has mentioned, the zipper. There is no way a person could zip it up themselves. I had a friend helping me and I had to end up laying down on the bed to get a better angle and it still took her a long time to get it.
