I rented this gown for my firm's Gala. I had rented both the 6L and the 8L, since sometimes the designer gowns are cut smaller, but the 6L fit perfectly. The fabric of the gown is stretchy enough that there is "give" if you need it, but the style (with the cinched waist) is so flattering. I wore the gown with 3 1/2 inch heels and it was perfect. I did wear a strapless bra with it since I wasn't sure if a regular bra's straps would show through in the back, but you could probably get away with a regular bra and just use double-sided tape to keep the straps hidden. I received so many compliments on the gown, and I was so comfortable all night long. I HIGHLY recommend this rental!

I rented this dress for a Gala, but unfortunately was unable to wear any of the sizes ordered. After reading many reviews, I went with a size 6 (what I normally wear) and a size 4 as most reviews said that the dress ran big. I was really disappointed upon receiving the dress because neither size fit across the midsection. The dress fit everywhere else, but there is no give in the gathered band across the waist, and if you are not super tiny in that area, it will be very difficult to zip, and if you can zip the dress, even more difficult to breathe. The reason I am still giving one star is because I contacted RTR on Thursday after receiving the dresses on Wednesday (Gala was Saturday) and they overnighted me the 8 to try as well. The customer service was wonderful, as usual. I have rented before, and been really happy with my dress, but unfortunately, this dress was not a great fit. One last point, I also feel that the layer of sequins has an added effect of a layer of "thickness" which was not very flattering overall. I will definitely rent again though!

I had ordered both the medium and large just to make sure I was comfortable, and not knowing how it would fit. I ended up wearing the large spanx lining underneath the medium dress because the medium spanx was too tight in the bust area. I thought the dress was extremely flattering, and easy to move around in (ie. we could dance all night without it riding up). Because the dress and spanx are stretchy, it never felt too tight or constricting. I loved having the sleeves too - the wedding was in northwestern PA on 12/29 and it snowed the whole night (which was awesome) so I felt like this dress was perfectly appropriate for the event.
