Narrow shoulders quite tight
It's a slim cut size up one unless you have narrow shoulders and a small ribcage or want this to look painted on. (I'm 5'4" 36-26-36) Length is on the shorter side not cropped exactly but could ride up if your torso is long or you are tall.

Fit is oversized boxy and long. Recco sizing down one from your normal French size to avoid looking like you borrowed your dad's overcoat lol.

I'm 36-26-36 and the small was on the tight side just barely able to fit without the pockets pulling. Long enough to require kitten heels on my 5'4" frame. If you're between sizes I'd size up. Also note that the slit is only on one pant leg not both

This style is a natural fit for narrow smaller-breasted women, and pears (apples not so much...) it COULD work with other body types with a little help (bra tape, spanx) - but order two sizes up for the most flattering fit if you are not narrow/pear. The cut is low even for an average-to-small breasted woman (I am a 34B) and it showed my bra when i moved. Made things work with double-sided tape and a safety pin or two, but otherwise wear a cami or your bra (or more) will show. Overall the fit was a bit tight; i am 5'4 127lbs athletic build with broad shoulders and hourglass shape and the M just barely fit (I'm usually a size small, size 2-4, size 26-27 jeans). I am usually a small, i ordered a M, I should have ordered a L. The material is a nice thick silky sweater-ish knit - good for winter, might be a bit heavy for the summer.
