I wore this for a black-tie gala after seeing so many positive reviews, but was overall very disappointed. I've had far better RTR experiences, so maybe this was just an off experience. The zipper was a tremendous struggle, as other women have noted. Also, I am a 36C, and the cut on this gown smooshed my girls, giving me an unattractive "uniboob" look. Other women looked statuesque and svelte, but this gown just made me look frumpy. Also, I saw another woman with this exact same dress at my event, who was unfortunately standing two places behind me in line. Pros: beautiful color, fabric has a gorgeous "flow", elegant and classy style Cons: zipper is hard to manage, bodice doesn't fit well for larger busts, doesn't flatter fuller figures

This is called the "Mind Boggling Dress" and it does exactly that! The fabric and color blocking are very flattering, giving you a sexy hourglass figure. I wore this to a fundraising event in NYC and got compliments all night long! Do not wear it unless you want some attention. My husband thought it was great. One thing to be aware of is that the dress shows some leg, and is low-cut in the neckline. It is hard to wear shapeware underneath without it showing, so I did without the Spanx. If you have any kind of bosom, you will definitely want to wear disposable cups for support and some tape in order to keep the dress in place. I found that things shifted around a little and the tape was necessary for me in order to avoid a "wardrobe malfunction." All around, an awesome dress and one I wish I could wear again!

I wore this to an outdoor fall wedding, and it was the perfect choice! The color is a beautiful rich plum, and I loved the sheer lace sleeves., which kept the dress from feeling too tame. It's a tasteful and elegant dress, and I found the fit very true-to-size - I may even have gone down to a 6 for a slimmer fit. I accessorized with some crystal drop earrings and a sparkly costume jewelry necklace from the 50s, for a chic look. Lots of compliments through the evening! It was easy to dance in to boot.

This dress fits close to the body through the abdomen, which made it unflattering on me. The side ruching looks very cool, but the extra fabric around the waist creates bulk. The dress may look better over Spanx or something that smooths out a tummy. It's beautiful fabric and a great combination of colors - this has clearly been a winner for a lot of ladies, just not for me.

I rented this as a possibility for my reception dress. It feels romantic and old-fashioned on, and the floating overlay adds drama! I was concerned that my less-than-perfect body would look a bit dumpy, but the gown was surprisingly flattering. I was really torn between this and another RTR gown, and ultimately decided against this dress because I was afraid that the trailing fabric would be a hazard while dancing. If it hadn't been for that, I would have worn it. Hopefully, I will have another occasion where I can give it a go!

I wore this for my own wedding in July, and it was perfect! I had a traditional gown for the ceremony, but wanted something fun to change into for the reception (both were outdoors). The fit is true to size, and the blush pink fabric under the silver lace is elegant and feminine without being fussy. Some people have noted that the lace felt scratchy, but I did not have this experience. The dress was really comfortable - I even wore it for our first dance! It allowed me to move easily with no fear of a "wardrobe malfunction." My only complaint is that the skirt is full and from certain angles, it made my hips look wider than they actually are. Other than that, a great dress! It would be a good choice for a summer garden party or semi-formal outdoor wedding.

I wore these for my wedding and I wish I could have kept them! I was looking for something to add a little sparkle and these worked very well. There is enough substance to them that they add some "bling", but not so much that they are distracting. The subtle drop lends interest and the sparkles definitely catch the light! In the second photo you can see that they even showed up under my veil.

Wore this for a work event and it was an excellent choice. Fabric has some give so it was comfortable all evening. The color is a bright, deep blue and very pretty. I paired it with drop earrings for a classic look. I felt totally sexy but also ladylike - a good dress for feeling pretty *and* professional. I didn't have the length issue other people have mentioned, and wore this with a very moderate 2" heel. One downside is that the fabric bunches just a little at the midsection, giving you a "pooch." I wore Spanx to get around this.
