This was my second choice dress but I'm glad I went with it for a formal wedding. This style dress just fits my figure, and the wrap style is very forgiving. The dress is long--even wearing 2" heels, it was on the floor. If you're under 5'3" or you don't want to wear heels, I would not recommend. I did tack up the top of the sleeves which helped put the waist at a better location and lift it off the floor (otherwise I would have been tripping all night!). Large probably would have fit better but was not in stock. If you are bustier or need a more modest dress, this might not be the dress for you. I could see where other wearers had pinned the front of the dress poorly (ie: through the actual fabric and not the liner, please don't do this--you ruin the fabric!).

I liked this dress and although it was my first choice I went with a different dress for the formal wedding. It fit okay, but I would not recommend it if you have curves, it is not a comfortable dress. The 14 fit okay, but the 16 fit better.
