Great, classy dress! Beautiful color!
This was a back-up style I ordered for a wedding, but I ended up liking it so much, I chose this dress instead of my first choice! The medium fit my lower half (in spanx) nicely, although there was a little extra room up top, but it wasn't noticeable. The dress doesn't offer a lot of stretch, but the slit in the back gave me enough movement to dance during the whole reception. I loved the color, a nice deep, rich, jewel tone, and I think it would flatter just about anybody, and my rose gold accessories really popped against it.

I would normally wear this in a 42R, but that size was unavailable, so I rented a 40R & 44R. The fabric and cut of the dress is very forgiving, so the 40R worked just fine. It's a pretty dress, but the tie at the waist didn't quite hit in the right spot. I ended up wearing the other style I rented instead, since it looked a little more polished for the wedding.

Looked great, even though the fit up top wasn't ideal.
I picked a medium and a small for my rental. When the dresses arrived, the size tags read 6 for the small, and 8 for the medium. While the 6 fit great up top, you could see my spanx lines on the bottom, so I opted for the 8. The 8 was a bit baggy up top, but much more flattering on the lower half. The way the dress wraps and ties across the front helped hide the baggy top. Hubby thought I looked I great on our dinner date for my birthday, (although he always says I look great, he's a smart man). I feel like this dress is very true to size, but I don't know why RTR doesn't use the number sizing that was listed on the dress tags, which is more specific and more helpful than S-M-L.

Loved the pockets!
I only liked and didn't love this dress. My husband said I looked fantastic, but I thought the waist hit just a little bit higher than my natural waist, which kept the fit from being just right. Overall a very comfy dress to wear. The pockets meant I didn't have to drag a clutch with me to the wedding. I'm long waisted, so someone with a shorter torso probably wouldn't have a problem with where the waist of the dress hit.

Loved it so much, I bought it!
I rented this to wear for my daughter's baptism. It's a great dress since you can wear a regular bra with it. The a-line made it very easy to camouflage a lower belly pooch and wider hips. I loved how I looked in it so much I bought it! It's my favorite date-night dress.

Flattering illusion design!
I rented this for a fall wedding, approximately 4 months post-partum. The illusion created by the gold lace panels was very figure flattering (granted, good shapewear underneath helped). The fabric offers a nice bit of stretch, handy when I had to pump in my car during cocktail hour! Got plenty of compliments that helped me feel better about my "mom" bod!

I rented this for a formal church wedding with a country club reception. I usually am a size 6 or 8 (at least in the Badgley Mischka dresses I've rented) since I need to accommodate my curvy hips and backside. For this dress I rented a 6 and a 4 and the 4 worked great with my small chest (34 B, 25 1/2" waist) and the skirt portion was very forgiving to my lower half. This dress comes in at your natural waist. I'm long waisted, and the dress hit right where I wanted it to. I'm not sure if short waisted gals might have a problem? I'm a smidge above 5'5 and wore 4 1/2 heals which left the bottom of the dress just barely above the floor. I really loved the way this dress fit and I was happy with the rental.

Great fitting, easy to wear, chic dress (and just sexy enough)!
I rented this dress for a bachelorette party in Vegas. I rented the 4 and the 6 and ended up wearing the 6. I'm a pear-shaped 6-8, but sometimes I can wear a 4 in a-line dresses because I'm fairly small-waisted and small chested. The 4 was too tight but the 6 fit just great. Not baggy, but comfortable. My strapless bra was well concealed the entire night by the band in the back of the dress. The cutout is too wide to wear a bra with straps. The skirt of the dress gives you plenty of room to dance the night away. I was extremely happy with this rental

The dress fit well. I sometimes wear a 6 or an 8, but because this was so A-line and I'm more pear shaped, I sized down to the 4. Really glad I did. It fit perfectly up top and the skirt nicely hid my hips. I got a lot of compliments on the dress (wore it to a New Year's party). The only reason I did not love the dress was because the fabric was a very matte cotton. I was hoping for a dressier fabric.

Very classy ensemble!
Rented this for Christmas Eve. I'm very pear-shaped (chest a 34A/B, hips 38") and ordered the 6 and 8. With a pair of spanks and one of my more padded bras the 6 worked out very nicely. I wish I had taken a picture! I bit of extra room in the middle, but I typically get quite a bit of gaping there in most dresses w/o some tailoring. Husband really thought I looked great, wanted me to wear it to his family's get-together the next day too!

First time trying Rent the Runway and the experience and this dress were a hit for New Year's Eve!
I got many compliments on the dress on New Year's Eve, as well as some appreciative wow's from my husband! I wasn't sure if I'd be a four or a six, and while the four fit, there was a little gathering around the hips and the six was the more flattering choice. (I'm very pear shaped, A/B bust, 26" waist, 38" hips, 5'5") Just note that the dress is more of a rose gold than a yellow-gold. RTR even sent along fun Happy New Year tiara's! I loved that they shipped to the hotel we were staying at in Las Vegas... one less thing to pack! I will definitely be using RTR in the future!
