I rented this dress for a 20's/Gatsby themed Holiday party thinking it would be a comfortable sheath. As other reviewers note, it is VERY fitted compared to what is shown in the pictures. I am usually a 6 or an 8 and had I worn this, would have barely been able to zip the 8 so I recommend going up at least one size. I ended up wearing the other dress I rented as this was just way too fitted to feel comfortable all night.

This dress was super comfortable to wear. The sash defines your waist while the arm details make it look feminine. I wore this to a 20's themed holiday party and it was perfect for the theme. I am usually a 34D-ish on top and the dress fit but was a bit snug on my back. I was able to wear a sheet bra (padded would have been too tight) and there are snaps in the top so your bra doesn't creep out. My ONLY complaint is that some of the gold detail was peeling off the dress when I received it. You could definitely see the wear and tear on the dress which was disappointing but it wasn't so bad that it couldn't be worn.

Be forewarned, the material of this dress is a wool blend. It is not leathery or shiny as the photo shows. It also gathers on the side of one hip, not both. The color is beautiful but the fit and fabric made it feel like a work dress.

This was my backup dress for a May wedding and unfortunately I couldn't make it work. The color is gorgeous, and the lace is really feminine. Unfortunately as the other reviewers state, the straps run way large. They didn't have a 6 when I rented but typically I can make an 8 work because of my bust, but this was just way too big.

I rented this dress to wear to a May wedding and I LOVED it! I received so many compliments on both the cut and color of the dress. The picture really doesn't do the color justice, it's a vibrant blue. They didn't have a 6 when I ordered so I'm glad I got the 8 because it definitely runs small, particularly through the hips. The 8 meant the shoulders were a bit loose, but I definitely could not have made a 6 work on my hips. Rent this dress, you will not be sorry you did!

Love the fit of the dress. Other reviewers are correct that the straps run a bit long however, if you're bustier it won't be a big problem. The color in-person is more of a gold-tone than the picture. I didn't actually end up wearing this as it was too cold, but would definitely recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with this dress! I don't usually wear strapless, but this one stayed in place without me having to do a bunch of tugging on the top all night. I received lots of compliments, and it was light and breezy for a hot evening.

I wanted so badly to love this dress but the proportions were all wrong. I usually wear a 6, so I ordered the 6 and the 8 just to be safe. The 6 was way too small in the chest, and the 8 just didn't fit right. It seemed like it was made for someone with a very short waist.
