The necklace was not too heavy and looked great at a black tie event. However, I think it could be worn casually as well.

This dress got me a lot of compliments at my black tie event!
This gown fit me like a glove! I chose "long" as I am 5'9" and the gown was floor length. I would recommend wearing higher heels so that you are not constantly tripping over the gown. Other than that one con, I would definitely rent this dress again.
