Perfect for black tie - appropriate but intersting
I wore this dress to a black tie wedding I had in early November. Although it wasn't floor length, the length was still appropriate for a fall wedding. The fabric was thick enough and there was enough support to not need a bra or spanx, but also had enough stretch to fit over my hips/butt without pulling seams and hanging awkwardly. The cut outs made it more interesting and the backless added just enough appropriate-sexy. if you're between 2 sizes I'd recommend a 2 as the dress does looks way better if its a little bit more on the fitted side. My only suggestion is bring a safety pin for the back strap as after dancing and moving around the back strap came lose off of some of the eye hooks,

Great Party Dress
I wore this dress to a charity event/party in June. The dress fit and looked great and was perfect for an event in which you wanted to look trendy but still formal & classy (not black tie though). It was easy to move & dance in and the length was perfect. My only issue with the dress is the front is kind of boring and the waist is gathered and elastic which makes it look a little....not so designer. I added a gold plated belt to cover the elastic and it was fine though. Because of the waistline I recommend if you are between 2 sizes sizing down. Also due to the cut if its too lose it could gap and hang weird in the back.

Perfect dress for an outdoor wedding
I wore this dress to a southern style outdoor wedding and it was absolutely perfect for the event. It was an appropriate length and the fit accentuated my figure without being too revealing/inappropriate for the style of wedding. A few things to note though (a few of these other reviewers mentioned): -the color is not a pastel orange. it is more of a bright/neon peachy overlay with a matching pastel color underneath with silver stitching (makes you look really tan) -Unless you have a larger chest you will need a padded bra. The top is structured - i wore a 2 and am a 34C and still needed to wear a larger bra to fully fill it out -The zipper slips. you NEED TO BRING A SAFETY PIN to secure the top or else you will be pulling the zipper up all night

Not for all body types
I rented this dress for a summer daytime wedding. Unfortunately I was unable to wear it as it did NOT look good on me at all. The gathering of fabric right below my belly button as well as the color contrasts made me look incredibly wide and like a had a huge belly. I have larger hips and bottom which caused the dress just appear very unflattering. The dress seems to be more suited for someone with more of a straight figure as it definitely would ad some shape and curves. It was also a jersey fabric so i wouldn't recommend it for a wedding as it didn't really seem formal enough, even for a daytime event.

Wore this for a graduation event - was very conservative and class yet still allowed me to feel like I was wearing something modern and stylish. The tailored fit was perfect - especially with the lace overlay (prevented it from looking like I was wearing a table cloth). I had to wear it all day and it was super confortable - not too tight and restricting. The only thing to note is it was a little snug in the hips.

I wore this dress to a sorority formal in May. I got a ton of compliments on it and it was comfortable enough to wear for the entire night. I am skinny, but have a pretty large bum for my size and it still fit really well, and didn't ride up at all which I frequently find as being a problem in tighter dresses. It made my figure look great. It also photographed well. I would absolutely recommend this dress, as it was probably one of my favorite dresses I have worn.

Flattering Fit
The dress was great. It was very flattering and smoothing. I was a little concerned about the stomach area, however the additional bandaging reinforced the stomach so there was no need for spanx. I did rent this dress to possibly wear for a wedding, however it was a little bit too short and revealing to wear for a wedding, especially because it had a tendancy to ride up due to the material. You also can't wear a bra with it, but I am a 34C and the thicker bandaging also helped anything from showing. If that is an issue a NuBra or petals would work just fine with the cut. Overall a great dress - super confortable, tons of compliments, looked amazing. Definitely great for a night out.
