Orange is the new black
I did not realize this would look so much like I belonged in a correctional facility. The color is definitely vibrant, but it was too much for me. I felt like a human traffic cone. To its credit, though, the jumpsuit is very comfortable. Just not my style.

Awkward length
These pants are such a fun print and a nice heavy fabric for the transitional season, but an awkward length if you’re on the shorter side. They hit around my ankles, so they looked weird no matter what shoes I wore.

Beware Shoulder Pads
The shoulder pads on this otherwise slinky shirt are huge. It looked like my shoulder were at my ears. I didn't wear it. Disappointing because the fit through the torso was quite flattering.

I was very disappointed by this one, and kick myself for not reading the reviews first. The ruching is quite flattering around the midsection, but the fabric drove me absolutely nuts - so itchy!

Warm fall sweater
I thought this would be more of a blazer than a sweater, so it wasn’t what I expected. But it was very cozy and warm. Might rent again come fall. It runs on the loose side.

Busty ladies beware
I adored this dress on the hanger when it arrived (NWT), and it fit perfectly from the waist down. But the top has zero stretch and was way too tight. I wore it unbuttoned with a cami underneath, but even that felt a bit tight. The cap sleeves also have no give, so it was hard to lift my arms.

Wanted to Love It
If you have hips, beware. I loved the print and the fabric, but was very disappointed to find that the dress buttons all the way down underneath an odd apron-style front. While I found the apron to be an unusual stylistic choice, I was thankful it was there because the buttons underneath kept coming undone, and the apron was the only piece maintaining my decency.

Comically large
This blazer is designed to be oversized, but this was comically large. The shoulders were far too big and the sleeves were so long they ran past my fingertips. I looked like a child wearing their parents' clothing. I made it work by rolling the sleeves and wearing with jeans and a tank top, but wouldn't rent it again.

Too small
I regularly wear either a size 2 or 4, and went smaller with this one because I wanted it to be fitted. The dress has no stretch, though. I couldn’t even get it on.

Oh so short
This dress looked great under a blazer, but was so short as to be almost inappropriate for work. As someone who’s on the short side to begin with, I pulled it off with some flats, but leggy ladies should beware!

Adorable brunch dress
This dress is adorable and I got lots of compliments on it. The pockets are a great feature. The fabric is pretty heavy, which was fortuitous because I wore it on a windy day and it did not blow up in the wind, but it may be uncomfortable in hotter weather. The only complaint I had was the strap length - they were quite long and could not be adjusted, so they annoyingly slipped down all day long.

Couldn't Wear Clip-Ons
This rental taught me an important lesson: read the fit details, even for accessories. I knew these would be large (they hung down to my collar bone), but that didn't bother me because I wanted something that made a statement with a simple black gown. They were relatively light, so the size would not have been an issue except that I had not realized they are clip-ons. I found the clip too painful and could not wear these, which was unfortunate because they would have been stunning. Wish they had these in a standard post style!
