Comfortable, interesting dress!
I liked this dress - work to work where I had day-to-night work commitments. It has good stretch. I am short waisted and I found the bodice a bit short (or at least where the horizontal waist detail fell on me).

Great color / fabric
Great color dress and striking...wore with black tights and black knee high boots for work. I had to wear a full shapewear under this slim fitting dress -- the lower torso fit fantastic. However, the bodice is cut more narrow than necessary in the armhole area that my undergarments straps were totally visible. The arm ruffle helped some but I was conscious of it all day long.

Bit too glam for work but comfortable
The gold was a bit too glam for my work environment but the dress was pretty comfortable with its stretch. The semi-stand up collar neckline fit a bit odd and felt a bit choking during day...I was constantly pulling on it to try to adjust.

Dress grew on me as day went on.
Easy moving, comfortable dress! The skirt hem is total fun as it moves around. The bodice is oddly shaped and you definitely need to wear an appropriate bra so that the top of dress doesn't look totally sloppy. I would order it again in a smaller size.

Disappointing flowy blouse
It was way too short in length for a flowy blouse. But the arms were long on me. The drawstrings around the collar aren't adjustable so there was no way to make it fit well with the shirts V and cleavage exposure.

Work appropriate with flair
It's a great jacket with the fun fringe edges for an appropriate amount of work flair. For my January rental I wore it over black slacks / black cami and it gave a nice upbeat color to my mid-winter outfit. I would definitely rent again in the spring when the colors are more seasonal and have fun with it then again styled differently. The jacket was slightly tight across the arms/shoulders for me -- it stretched out some during the day. The length worked well on my short torso, 5'5' frame.

A Jackie-O type dress for the new age.
The stand up collar neck is just awesome and flattering. Loved have the two front pockets. However, as other reviewers have said, it is a SHORT dress. Too short for ease of wearing during the day, i.e., if sitting down in a chair others will see your hemline. If it was 3-4" longer I would have seriously considered buying it because otherwise it a fantastic dress.
