I rented this for a wedding in New Orleans (French Quarter). It's definitely a fun party dress for such an occasion. It ran large--usually, I wear a 4/6, but I think the 2 would have fit better. A previous reviewer said the dress made her feel bigger than she was, and I feel the same way. Something about the thickness of the fabric and the drape made me feel curvier, so it didn't exactly make me look thin. But, I'm glad I ordered it, as it was a fun, unique thing to wear. And an awesome deal!

I ordered this to wear to a winter wedding. Unfortunately, a snow storm prevented it from being delivered on time (but RTR reimbursed me for the rental, no problem). I tried it on anyway. I am usually a 4 or 6 in dresses. The 6 was tight in the hips, and the 8 huge. This was not flattering to me, as it was baggy on top and too tight on the bottom. I think this would look good on someone with a very straight figure, but not good if you have a waist.

I loved wearing this dress to a charity gala in November. It was unique and fun, but also comfortable and appropriate. Would be great for a fancy wedding or holiday event also. Wish I didn't have to send it back! It fit true to size. I ordered size 4 and 6 and wore the 4. The material is thick and doesn't stretch at all. I was able to wear a normal bra with it. This dress is ideal if you are smaller on top and want to show off your arms and waist.
