I needed a dress last minute--I normally wear a 12/14 on top and 14 bottom/34 inch inseam, long torso, carry most of my weight in my waist. I love the look of a long strapless gown, but it can accentuate how barrel chested I am. I threw caution to the wind, and settled for a 14R/16R because long length was not available for the dates I needed. Ordered Tuesday, delivered on time Thursday, event on Friday, no margin for something not working. No issues! Both dresses fit, went with the 16 to avoid a bodyshaper, threw on a low cut mega push-up bra to fill out the top. The cascading ruffle over the waist hid a multitude of sins, and the slit was sexy and made walking/climbing into limo a breeze. Zipper was a little difficult on my own, but manageable. I wore 2 inch black glitzy sandals, helped make it look almost the right length. I also rented the Kenneth Jay Lane Leopard bracelet and simple black clutch. Wish I was a 6 but alas, even a bigger girl can find a flattering dress on RTR.

Luxurious drape, stretchy thick fabric. Bust seemed large, narrow hips. I am probably a true 14L (5'9", 180), this was only available in 12L--top was a little loose, through hips was tight but manageable with shape wear. The tag said 12, I don't think I received the 12L. It was very short (about 4 inches above the ankle). Dress flares like a mermaid so the length was a deal breaker. The sparkly detail at the shoulder is more teal which was very pretty.
