Cute, nice material, but weird fit.
I sized up from my normal size 12 to a 14 based on the reviews that made it sound like this top was more adjustable(I have a larger bust, and that can be a challenge with material that has no stretch). However, the top is actually not adjustable at all, the sash is the only "adjustable" part. I would go with your regular size or even a size down, the 14 was super large on me, it seemed like more than one size off. If I rented it again I might even try a 10.

Won't work for large-ish hips
I'm between a size 10 & 12 and got this in a large. It fit fine on top, but I couldn't slip it down over my hips, it just wasn't happening. If you're hourglass or pear shaped I would pass on this. If you're more straight up and down, go for it. It's a beautiful dress and I think it would be super flattering on someone with smaller hips. The fabric feels really nice and light, great for spring/summer.

Cute, but watch the sizing if you have a large bust
This dress is super cute but was very tight in the bust. I marked it as true to size anyway though because I have a large bust(34F) and should have really sized up. If you have a large bust size up or skip it. It fit fine everywhere else and I received lots of compliments on it. Very high quality dress.

I'm a size 10, but ordered this in an 8 because I felt the 10 might be too big. I was right, the 8 fit like a glove. I wear a 34DDD and the dress is stretchy enough to accommodate everything. It's form fitting but extremely flattering and very classy. Will likely rent this one again.

Couldn't wear it, but it's a lovely dress
I'm 5'8", size 10, 34DDD bust. The M fit beautifully everywhere, except it was too small in the bust(it flattened me out). The L fit my bust comfortably and had a extra space in the waist, not a bad fit. The M was bordering on too short, but the L was the perfect length. Unfortunately I wasn't able to wear this dress because the first L I got smelled of smoke and perfume and the replacement RTR promptly sent is damaged across the chest. Just something to keep in mind if you need an L, you might get unlucky. My rating is based on the fit and look of the dress, which is lovely. I'm sure I would have loved wearing it if I had been able to. RTR's customer service has been excellent, if I had more time before my event I'm sure they would have sent me a replacement. Judging from the other reviews all over the site, this is a rare occurrence, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't share it.
