The fabric on this is thick, but stretchy and very comfortable. I loved this dress! It fits true to size, though I did think it was slightly smaller in the bust than I was expecting (and I am not a busty lady), but the stretch makes that not too much of a problem. Both the 14 and the 16 fit fine, but I opted to wear the 16 to be a little more comfortable for a mostly-seated party. I loved this dress and would definitely consider renting it again! I wish it were available in multiple colors.
