First of all, the colors of the dress were stunning and perfect for the garden wedding I went to. The skirt was perfectly flowy and fun to walk and dance in. The top of it was loose enough and gathered enough that I was able to wear it without a bra (thank God lol). My only complaint, and this is something that is just typical with dresses of this style, is that the band of fabric that goes around your ribcage did seem a little tight to me and you will probably need someone to help you zip it. I'm usually an 8 or a 10 but if I'd gone with a 12, I might have been able to zip it on my own (that wasn't one of the sizes I rented though). Also, I'm about 5'4" and I wore wedges with it that were probably about 3" and he dress just barely rested on the ground. But all in all, I loved the dress, everyone else loved the dress, and I wish I could have kept it! Oh, also, I would have rated it 5 stars but for some reason the app would only let me give a max of 4 stars.

I tried to get the blue dress like this one but I ended up with the wrong size. This one in the 10R worked perfectly for me. That is bigger than my normal size, so I recommend going up from your normal size. The color is definitely more purplish/pink than it looks on the model, sort of like a raspberry color in my opinion. And as a redhead, I love that color on me ha ha. The dress has a little stretch to it so that its comfortable when you are standing or sitting. I did end up putting a mermaid petticoat under my dress to make the bottom flare out a little more so that I didn't step on it as much. I am only like 5'4" and was wearing maybe 3" heels and it was still a few inches too long. But like I said, the petticoat helped. My only complaint about the dress is that the zipper is nearly impossible to get up or down even when it's on the hanger. The fabric is so thick around the zipper that I felt like I was going to break the zipper before I was even able to try it on. It really is the type of dress that you need someone else to help get you into and out of it. I was by myself so I ended up having to put it on backwards and shimmy it around forwards... That was exhausting ha ha. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this dress since it was gorgeous, I got so many compliments, and it was comfortable. Just make sure you have someone who can help you with it!

I was unsure about ordering a petite size even though I am short, but when I called and asked about the length of it (since petite lengths aren't described in the details along with the regular and long sizes) I was told that the only difference would be that the skirt would be a couple inches shorter. Nope. The bodice (torso) of it was shorter as well which meant the zipper was shorter which meant I couldn't open it as wide to get it over my shoulders if I went over my head or get it over my hips if I tried to step into it. I couldn't believe what a drastic difference there is between the 10PM and the 10R that I ended up wearing in the purplish/pink color of the same style. Just be careful with this one, there is no stretch in it and it's cut on a bias which makes it feel even tighter. If you get the right size, the color and fabric are beautiful.

I rented this dress for a New Year's Eve party and tried both the M and the L. The M kind of fit but the L was a little more comfortable. It tended to ride up a little as I was wearing it so I might have needed the next size up for my hips but then the straps would have been too long and I didn't want to mess with trying to adjust those. Something to note is that from the outside, it appears that there is no zipper, but there is one on the underneath layer of fabric that makes it easier to get on and off. And one tip I have, is that if you are planning on wearing a bra with it, make sure it's a black lace bra because even though my bra was pretty low-cut, it still showed in the corners. Thankfully mine blended in perfectly so I doubt anyone noticed but I would have been out of luck if I'd worn any other bra with it. My only complaints about it were that it had some holes in it here and there (which I guess is to be somewhat expected with a lace dress that countless other women have worn) and that there were a couple suspicious-looking stains on the front lower area of the underneath layer. Obviously they didn't show with the lace over it, but it kind of grossed me out and I tried not to think about what the stains might be from.

I wore this dress for the Wishmaker's Ball this year and loved it. I tried on the 6R in this one as well and could wear it but I felt a little bit like a sausage lol. The 8R worked out perfectly! I wore 3" heels with it and it still dragged on the ground just a little but that's the way I expected it to be. It has a corset inside that zips separately from the rest of the dress so it's nice that that's tight and secure but the dress doesn't look as tight as the corset actually is. By the end of the night. The corset was getting a little uncomfortable but that was kind of expected. The bottom part of the skirt has several layers including tulle so that part did get a little warm after a while but not too bad. I saw lots of other women at the event with RTR dresses and some of them were wearing the same ones as each other (one that I had considered wearing) but I was happy to see that no one else had chosen this dress. It's unique and beautiful and I thank the RTR team for helping me finally find one that worked after my first few choices couldn't be sent to me because they were damaged by the previous renter. I definitely recommend this dress!

This is one of the many dresses that I ordered to see what would work for a ball that I had to go to. Judging by some of the comments I thought maybe a 6 would work because I am usually between a 6 and an 8, it fit fine in the hips and waist but it was too small just under my bust so I couldn't even get it zipped up. It's a pretty dress but not as pretty as the picture makes it look. I don't think I would have chosen it even if it did fit.
