After reading previous reviews, I decided to rent this for my mini baby shower lunch. I have a pretty large chest and there was plenty of room for "girls" and for the baby at 6 months pregnant. For a shift dress I probably would be a size 4 or 6 pre-pregnancy and the 6 fit perfect so I'd say it's pretty true to size. I have a long torso so I had to be careful with lifting my arms/bending over as there is no stretch to the lace but it was definitely long enough and I would rent it again!

Overall, the dress was great...I received many compliments. It's lined and I could wear a regular bra which was wonderful bc I'm a 34DD. Having a large bust and ribcage, I wore a 6 and it was still a bit snug in that area. Having to accommodate for my chest, I wish the rest of the dress was more form fitting as the rest of me is a size 2/4 but the shape was still very flattering and no one thought it looked big at all. The lilac, as you can see, is much more vibrant than in the image of the model and it was perfect for my friend's spring wedding!
