This dress is deceptively small. I have an athletic build i.e. I have broad shoulders and I could not zip either the 42 or 44 all the way up. The dress is also an unfortunately length on me (I am 5'5) where it sits just too low below the knee and feels a little matronly. A taller, slimmer frame would do better in this style.

I rented this as my backup dress and didn't end up wearing it. I chose a Versace instead just because I could wear a bra with that dress and not this one. Beautiful color and sexy sheer back detail is lovely BUT I didn't feel as confident going bra-less as someone else might feel. Great for any occasion calling for a cocktail dress. True to size, comfortable fabric with a little stretch.

I rented this beautiful, simple black dress for a work event / cocktail party and am so happy with it. It is a very simple silhouette but super flattering on curves but modest since it is not too short or too exposed on top. The shoulder details are so lovely and a nice surprise but make wearing a regular bra impossible. I did wear Spanx underneath to smooth the lines out a bit but found the dress to run a tad small. The fabric is comfortable (stretchy) but the corseting at the waist doesn't allow for any stretch so I had to go up to the 42 I had as the back-up size. The zipper on both was a little sticky too and it was hard to zip closed over the corset section. I definitely recommend getting a size up just in case. I felt beautiful in the dress and did get a lot of compliments. It doesn't need much jewellery either to look great which I also loved. Simple and elegant! I recommend.

Unfortunately, I ended up not wearing it to my event. It looked great on the model but was too sack like on me. It really clung to my butt and the rest just hung shapelessly around my mid section. It didnt make me feel confident so I wore an old dress instead. RRR was great though and gave me a credit so it wasnt a waste but I recommend going up a size or two at least for any shorter girls with booties. The fabric and colors were beautiful though so I was disappointed I couldnt pull the dress off.
