The color was just GORGEOUS and it fit really well
There's very little give in the dress due to the lace overlay. I'm a 34D, with a 29" waist and 40" hips. Much bigger than that and I think I would have had to size up. I also have somewhat broad shoulders, due to my largish bust, so the shoulders were somewhat uncomfortable. A little more give in the shoulders would have been nice, since even driving was a bit bothersome. I also had some marks at the shoulder joint at the end of the night from where the seam would cut in a bit. Not horrible, but I did notice it. The color is SO vibrant, and the dress is very flattering. I would 100% wear this dress again and would buy it if it became available.

I couldn't wear either size and RTR had to overnight me a new dress.
As with most lace dresses, the hidden zipper is a pain to zip. I tried the size 4 first, since that's what I generally wear in most sheath dresses. I wasn't able to zip it once I got to the widest point of my ribcage. I have somewhat projected ribs and as much as I tried, I couldn't get it to zip. It was just a hair too small. This is probably because the dress has no stretch at all. The size 6 when I tried it on was ok, but a bit baggier than I would prefer, particularly in my midsection. It had a defect though and RTR overnighted me a new dress. This style wasn't available. So I ended up wearing a different style to the wedding. I have a 29" waist and 40" hips, as well as being somewhere between a 32E and a 34D, which are sister sizes I know, but I guess I would be more of a 33. so neither is a perfect fit. The dress looks lovely. and I would have loved to have worn it, but the downfall of an hourglass shape is that sometimes those more fitted styles don't work out around your hips and bust, even if they fit your waist. If you have a less dramatic difference between your waist and hips/bust than I do, you'll probably be ok. If you're curvier I would definitely recommend sizing up, although then you lose the shaping effect at the waist.

I won my singing competition in this dress!
Dress was fantastic!! Exactly what I wanted. I wanted something edgy and fun, with a bit of glam, but not too much. The romper portion dressed it down, while the skirt portion added an extra bit of class. I wore this to a singing competition and for my first song I wore it with basic black pumps. Looked great. For my 2nd song I wanted to be able to dance around and put on combat boots, and it again, looked great! I couldn't have been happier. I think my only minor change would be to have a slit on both sides. It was fantastic though. i really did love it. I think this is best for a playful event. As far as length is concerned, I was wearing 3 inch heels, and the skirt was about a 1/2 inch from the floor. But I also wore it with 1 inch heel combat boots and it wasn't dragging too badly. I was concerned I would step on it when I was dancing, but I was moving around so much the skirt kept flowing behind me, so it was fine. The model in the image must be quite tall to have the skirt hit her ankles in heels. Also, the romper has roughly a 1 1/2 inch inseam, so if you have a larger butt, your gonna have a little bit of cheek showing. I did, but with the skirt, it makes it ok. I would have felt much less comfortable about the extra skin showing if the skirt hadn't been there. The model's slim fit makes it look like there's a lot more coverage in the shorts portion than there is. Although, if you have a slim build like that, then you'll likely not see any cheek showing.

These were so shiny!
The bangles are beautiful, but the set I was sent are starting to show some wear. I noticed a few of the beads had started to come off the bangle and were hanging off. But it was such a minor imperfection I didn't really worry about it.

I got stopped by tons of women complimenting my dress!
Pros: Beautiful form fitting dress, looks extremely elegant. You can't help but smile in it. It's simple and sexy, but classic and elegant Cons: I'm a 34 D, and I tried the dress with and without a bra. Without a bra fit, but I felt like the dress dragged my breasts down. So I wore a bra to get more lift. I actually wore a full spanx outfit underneath that includes the bra cup and comes down past the hips. The problem with this was that with the bra on, the breast cups for the dress were too small and kept sliding down my bra, which caused the top of my bra to peak out. Now, it was a black bra, so it kind of matched, but it was a little frustrating as I had to keep pulling the top up to cover my bra. Also, my boyfriend had to do battle with the zipper. The dress fit very well, but at the mid back it kept getting stuck, and not in a "the dress doesn't fit" kind of way, more of a "this zipper sucks" kind of way. We did eventually get it zipped(obviously) but it was a real pain. I know I went into more detail with the con, but I loved this dress and would definitely recommend to others. I think I would have been better off with an 8 in all honesty, especially for the extra chest space. I thought that since it was a stretchy material that a smaller size would be better, but in actuality, I thinks since it's stretchy you can size up and still get that form fitting look. I'm 5'5 3/4", and the dress hit the ground in bare feet. So I think if you want to wear heels definitely go with a long. I ended up going out and getting a pair of kitten heels so that I could wear some sort of heel, but the dress wouldn't be a high water. The long would have been better. And I wish more people would add their measurements, so for reference, mine are 36-29-40
